"We placed mom at Foothill Village. It’s a very beautiful facility and everything was clean. The people were very friendly and I was very impressed. The staff knew the people that were living there. They were very friendly and outgoing. I like the environment or feel of the place. My mom appreciates the food and she thinks it’s good. I liked that they have water, coffee and tea station and that they can get it anytime. "

"My father is moving into Astoria Senior Living - Oakdale. He is being evaluated on Friday. I've been there three times. It's a very nice place. It's smaller and it's not so like a hospital environment. It's more like a home-type environment. It has everything that the others have but it's smaller. He's gonna go into assisted living because they do a lot of the care for the assisted living as well. He doesn't qualify for memory care, so he's going into assisted living. They're doing some updates and when they get done, they'll be beautiful. They were all friendly and very informative. I saw some of the dishes and they looked really good, but I didn't have time. They have everything everybody else has. They're excellent. No gym, but they have outdoor courtyards and they have activities every day. They go outside, and they give them rides quite often. They have something going on every day for them. It's in a neighborhood. It's in town so it's close to everything."

"Amador Residential Care wasn't like anything super fancy, but I found the place to be so clean and nice. I went there to visit my friend who, and she was so well cared for, and she was very clean. The whole facility was also very clean, and everybody was so nice and happy. The staff was good, and it was a very good experience."

"I really liked Oak Manor. It was bright, sunny, and cheerful, and it looked new. The outside looked old, but the inside looked new, and I loved the atmosphere. My mom did not qualify because they do not have memory care. The staff was very friendly and very cheerful. I saw the activities room; it looked nice, and there were many residents hanging out there. "The Gold Quartz Retirement Home seemed like a very nice place to stay if you are in need of living assistance. The staff was kind and warm and clearly had a good rapport with the residents. They were also very nice and accommodating for the students, including myself, who were visiting to spend time with the residents. The retirement home is in a good location, surrounded by trees and in a very nice neighborhood. There seemed to be a lot to do if you lived there. People were playing games and telling stories all over the place! The residents seemed very happy and open to people visiting with them. They were so welcoming to me and my fellow club members. All the facilities seemed well kept and clean. The bathrooms were nice and well-lit. I went into the kitchen to grab a snack and it also seemed very tidy and sanitary. And the smell was much better than your average retirement home. "
