Gold Quartz Inn Senior Retirement Home was a nice place, but it did not give me the warm fuzzies because it was so dark. The outside looked great, but the inside looked old. The staff was OK.

The Gold Quartz Retirement Home seemed like a very nice place to stay if you are in need of living assistance. The staff was kind and warm and clearly had a good rapport with the residents. They were also very nice and accommodating for the students, including myself, who were visiting to spend time with the residents. The retirement home is in a good location, surrounded by trees and in a very nice neighborhood. There seemed to be a lot to do if you lived there. People were playing games and telling stories all over the place! The residents seemed very happy and open to people visiting with them. They were so welcoming to me and my fellow club members. All the facilities seemed well kept and clean. The bathrooms were nice and well-lit. I went into the kitchen to grab a snack and it also seemed very tidy and sanitary. And the smell was much better than your average retirement home.
