Describe the overall population of assisted living residents at Dale Commons. What is their average age? What are their favorite things to do?
We specialize in Independent and Assisted Living. Our residents range from 60 years of age to 103 years of age. Our residents love to stay active with a fully complimented activities calendar with a multitude of things happening everyday. Variety is the spice of life.
What programs or activities does Dale Commons offer to enrich residents' well-being?
Our Activities offer so much. We offer activities that address the physical, intellectual, spiritual, health and wellness, and emotional needs of our residents. Our MBK Fitness instructor will provide you with a full body workout for those looking to get into shape.
What places are near Dale Commons or within walking distance for assisted living residents to enjoy?
We have Restaurants, shopping stores, nail salons, hairdressers, gas stations and Vintage Faire Mall all within walking distance of our community.
What transportation services does Dale Commons offer to assisted living residents?
Our scheduled transportation department helps our residents to get to their Doctor's appointments, shopping stores, casino trips, restaurants and so much more. Our bus is on the road 5 days a week. Our driver also has a special class B license for transporting residents. We also can help those with wheelchairs get to where they need to be.
What makes the chef or dining program at Dale Commons exceptional? What kind of menu can assisted living residents expect?
Our Restaurant is open for elegant dining 12 hours a day from 7AM to 7 PM. On our daily menu we offer three meals a day, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. We also have an all-day menu. You can come to dine with us any time during the day.
What safety features or security measures does Dale Commons offer to assisted living residents?
Our Concierge desk is open 12 hours a day from 8AM to 8PM. Everybody that comes to visit in our community signs in and out with the Concierge during their visits. We lock the doors for safety when the desk is closed for the day. Visitors can come anytime after hours to be let in by staff to visit their loved ones.
How does Dale Commons keep residents' families informed about their loved ones?
Residents are monitored for any changes in their daily lives. We report to our families pertinent information observed about their loved ones. We also communicate with their physicians about any observed health changes.
What is the care staff-to-resident ratio at Dale Commons during daytime and nighttime hours?
We have an acuity based staffing model. Our residents needs will always dictate what staffing is necessary to exceed the needs of our residents. We offer a person centered approach to our residents care needs.
If Dale Commons accepts dogs or cats, what indoor/outdoor areas can they enjoy?
We love our residents pets. Our only request is the our residents are capable of managing the needs of their pets. There is a 20lb maximum on most pets.
What ongoing senior care training does the staff receive?
Our staff are incredible people who have a passion to care for others. We look for traits in our staff that can't be taught. We also have multiple training opportunities for our staff to develop their skill levels. We provide more training than what is regulated by community care licensing.

Our resident activity planning meeting is held once a month to decide what new and exciting places our residents would like to visit.

We do provide services to those residents that have some memory loss. However, we are not a care community that manages residents who have the propensity to wander.
