"The thing that first impressed me about this facility is that it is small enough that the owners and staff know everyone by name, and also is able to know their entire history (and therefore can respond immediately if a person has a change in condition or needs medical attention!), as opposed to other places which might be bigger and more expensive, but a person is just a number and can get lost in the crowd. The other great thing I found about this facility is that one of the owners (Renee) is a nurse, and opposed to other facilities which might have a home health nurse who comes in once a day to check only on the residents who are on her caseload, Renee is there every day and can attend to each patient at the facility. Having a licensed nurse on staff is such a plus! Equally impressive is that most meals are prepared from scratch and that the cleanliness of the facility is a top priority. Never once have I walked in and been accosted by an odor. Cleaning seems to take place 24/7, which is amazing, and the staff to resident ratio is much better than at many other facilities. "

"Staff at The Court were very kind and patient with my mother from before her move 1 month ago to the present, She loves her apt and everything else - good food, nice people, all the conveniences of assisted living. The Court was a great decision for her! "

"Waterside Landing was a very nice facility. The director was also very nice and informative. She gave us a tour of the entire facility, showed us a room, and explained all their services. She also introduced us to different staff members and everyone was very nice and pleasant. They were all very good. Their facilities were very accommodating and and it's a wide variety. It definitely should be considered for your loved one."

"We went to Grand Villa of Boynton Beach for a visit; it was one of those high-end places. The staff was very nice, professional, and knowledgeable. They had variety of room sizes available depending on the rate that you want to pay, and they are all very nice. "

"I've known about this beautiful community for years, they offer breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean, the Intracoastal Waterway and have the largest apartments at very competitive rates...but what I find most appealing is the attentive and caring staff that serve my friends living there. They tell me that the red carpet is always rolled out for them and that the staff intimately cares about everyone. I also like the size of the community-so many we looked at in this area are so big and confusing with transient residents and staff. It's amazing that the staff here is so consistent and has a longevity unheard of in a retirement community. We looked at just about every community nearby and no one compares to the friendliness, warmth and comfort that it offers. The views are incredible, but they are nothing compared with everything else this seaside community offers. One day, before I may realize, I plan to make this community my home."

"I like that Park Summit has independent living apartments that are spacious. They have balconies overlooking parked areas. They also have emergency buttons in the rooms. The place is very clean and very neat. The people there were friendly. "

"I thought Brookdale West Boynton Beach looked more like a nursing home than independent living. Everything was on the inside, it was all hallways. When you open your apartment door, you're still inside the building. It was just dreary. The staff walked us all over the place and it was very, very spread out. It was pretty big. The guy was very nice. He actually called me back several times later to check on my brother to see whether or not he is happy where he's at. The place looked clean and it was OK, but we saw a lot of residents in walkers and wheelchairs. I didn't see too many activities there. The dining room was very big. There was a pool table, puzzles, and a very small library."

"I thought very highly of this place. The amenities were quite nice, featuring a library and lounges where people could lounge and read. When I visited, I got to see pretty much all of the places in this facility. My best memory of this place involved a time when my relative was actually in the dining area eating. It really made me feel good that she was in good hands. The food was something you'd expect to have been made with a lot of care, and not just some pre-made food. The exterior of this place was just beautiful. It really felt like it was a home that I was entering. The lawn was kept very nice and the bushes were very tidy as well. Every time I went, it felt the exterior was serviced just the day before. One thing I would say is that there's no pool/water area in this facility though. I think that would be something that would have been nice to have.Overall, I was very impressed by this facility, it actually made me change my overall outlook on assisted living facilities. I think very highly of this place. Would definitely recommend if anyone is looking for assisted living in Boynton Beach. "

"Forest Trace was just wonderful. Everybody that I met was very pleasant. I have nothing bad to say. Everything was good and lovely. The rooms were great and the place was beautiful."

"My mother and her husband have not yet used the assisted-living facilities in this community, as they are still in independent living (at 87 and 95 respectively!). But my mother fell during a group walk, and they insisted on her getting care. She probably would have ignored it on her own. The scan uncovered some stuff (misdiagnosed at Kennedy Hospital, but that is not the fault of Via, Florida medical care is pretty terrible) that she wouldn't have found otherwise. The facility is well-appointed and the service level is high. Worth the money, in my opinion. "

"I visited this facility. Ken gave us a tour, everyone was very welcoming. We absolutely loved the food! They have a ton of events happening, and their fall decorations were so cute! I loved that they had photos of the residents in the front by the mail boxes! I could totally see my mom here!"

"I love it here. Good place to be around others and have those who work here care about you and are looking out for you. The ED is always doing for the community and is available for us at any time."
