I love St. Andrews Estates, but I can't afford it. They have independent living, assisted living, and memory care. If I had enough money, I would go there. The problem there is depending on what level you want, it's about a $300,000 entrance fee. The facilities were nice. They have a lot of grassy areas. They have two pools and a big pond. They have two sides, the north and the south side. The buildings were very, very nice. We went and visited a one-bedroom and a bedroom and a den and they have a full kitchen. It was really beautiful. They have one meal that they provide. They have activities. They have a place for physical therapy and a place for arts and crafts. They even have a small room where they have shows or activities, and they have happy hour. We went three times and each time we went, we had a meal. The Sunday brunch was nice. You got to choose whether you wanted breakfast or lunch, and they had a wide variety of food and it tasted great. The staff was very friendly. I met the people in the kitchen and they have volunteers that come and serve you. Everyone was friendly, and they said hello. They have golf carts that are available for the people that live there to use inside. Like if you live on the far end and you need the golf cart to go to dinner or someplace, you can use the golf cart. One of the days we went, they were having something. A lot of people were in the hallway. They were listening to somebody give a speech. They have a bus that you could reserve and then go shopping and stuff like that.

I went to St. Andrews Estates to visit a friend. I thought the living space was nice. And there's a lot of activities. I'm not sure that I'm the kind of person who would be involved in lots of those things. I have my own interests, but it seems like a well-managed place overall. But my friend said that the one thing she doesn't like is that it's a very sort of controlled environment. I know they have a gym and pools. My friend is involved in a lot of things. She sings in a choir. They have ping pong tournaments. I don't know everything, but I know there are a lot of activities. They have like a cafe or grill and they have a regular dining room. I think the dining room requires reservations two weeks in advance. But I did eat with my friend. I had lunch at the other restaurant as such that they can use.

I thought St. Andrews Estates was a nice place. It's a very open and green campus. They offered a wide variety of amenities. The apartments seemed very nice and roomy. We saw a two-bedroom with a den. It's also where you enter into a life contract. They offer assisted living and memory care if needed down the road. I thought they offer a lot, and it's in a good location. We had some lunch but that was about it. It was an informal lunch, and it was good and tasty.

I toured St. Andrews Estates and their staff was excellent. They were wonderful, treated us very nicely, were very helpful, and were informative. It's very nicely kept, quiet, and was probably a little nicer than the other facility we liked, but they didn't have some of the features that we wanted and it wasn't as open to bringing in your own people. They did not have washers and dryers in the units which was pretty important to my mom. They only included one meal a day, but the facility was immaculate and it was close to us which was a bonus.

My friend has been at St. Andrews for years. The aids are mostly from Haiti and are underpaid and overworked. Very few actually have a smile on their face. One aid can handle 11 patients, so think about it, in the morning if she takes 20 mins to clean and dress each patient, it will take her 3.6 hrs to get them ready. Then it's breakfast time and they need help, so here she is helping with breakfast. Now some of them want to go to the restroom. The aid is still helping with breakfast. So she goes to the patient that wants the restroom, so she sits him/her on the toilette and continues to help the patient with her breakfast. It is about 11:45 am and it's now lunch time. Now you see why the aids hardly ever smile. It's a very tuff job with people that are at their last stretch of life, all wanting to be dead instead. It is very hard to stay sane there.

We toured St. Andrews, and my daughter liked that one the best. I got a very good impression from the staff. They gave me all the information and were willing to work with me. It was very nice and had nice grounds. We had lunch there, and it was quite nice.

St. Andrews in Acts 1 and 2 all have the same operation, and the reason that I didn't get too thrilled about them was the high cost of getting in and the high monthly cost.

I visited this facility recently to research possible assisted living for my elderly mother. It is located in a very nice neighborhood of Boca Raton, FL. I called and made an appointment for a tour. The facility itself is very nice. The receptionist was friendly. The tour guide was knowledgable and sympathetic. Their are private apartments as well as assisted living arrangements for those who require a more medical attention. The dining and recreational facilities were above average. I was impressed with this facility. It was much nicer than I expected and seemed well run.The pricing structure was a bit higher than I was looking for. I would recommend this facility to anyone who has the financial abilities and wants to place their loved ones in a safe and secure upscale assisted living facility.

While in the area, we went over to check out Oakbridge Terrace Al Residence assisted living facility as an option for my friend's mother. It looked really well-kept from the exterior. We especially liked how well the grounds were maintained. The park-like atmosphere looked very comforting. It was clear that the residents were content living there and enjoying themselves. We were impressed with the main foyer and lovely flowers. The communal areas all had interesting activities occurring, from reading to games and resident interactions. Each living unit was beautifully decorated and had individually controlled temperatures. The living suites were all a nice size, did not seem cramped and looked really comfortable. They host monthly birthday parties for residents at the facility and encourage friends and family to attend. Outings scheduled included dining out, galleries, museums, fairs, festivals, local films and theater. The communal dining areas had restaurant style food choices which looked nutritious and delicious, as well as the regular snacks - offered regularly and any time the seniors request them. This was a lovely facility with attentive staff. All of the resident's needs appear to be met easily and efficiently, in a friendly and caring way.
