"Thanks to the team at Deerfield that gave my aunt great care. The rehab was excellent. She goes there for rehab every time that she needs rehab. This is the only place that keep her for long term care and help with her Medicaid until she's ready to go back to her ALF. I appreciate everyone there as they are really special people that takes care of the sick."

"I lived at Edgewater Pointe Estates. It's a lovely, luxurious place, and it's expensive. They have an extensive gym and they have all activities except tennis and golf. They have one meal in the independent living portion and three in the assisted living section. There's laundry on every floor, and pickup and delivery as well. It's a perfect place. I'm going there for the holidays this weekend."

"My mother was in Heartland for a little while. Their equipment wasn't normally working and my mother had fallen and she couldn't get anybody to respond quickly. They sent her to the hospital three days after because her face swelled up. Their appearance was OK. It was more of the 70s appeal and there was a lot of much older people. Their rehabilitation was not the greatest. The staff was friendly but they really were pushing for Medicaid so that the State would pay for everything. She complained about the food all the time. It was always cold and never had any flavor. If they're going to give her a call button, it needs to be working. If they fall or get hurt, they need to make sure they go to the emergency room that day or that night or whenever that happens, not two days or three days later, and adding that to the bill was another pain because it happened on their premises and they were supposed to be caring for her. They should be more aware of what's going on in the rooms, have better food, and have a little bit longer rehabilitation. "

"My husband has been an Encore patient at the Boca Raton facility. I am happy to report that the staff (nurses, nurse aide, PT/OT, support personnel) and administrators have been very friendly, professional and answered any questions or concerns I or my husband may have had. We are pleased with his care. He has improved so much in his PT/OT services. This was a man that began therapy in a wheelchair, and can now walk independently or the aide of a cane. His self esteem has also improved, which was a major concern for our family."

"I was at Legacy Rehab for 47 days. The staff was caring and helpful, my room was clean, and help was available whenever I needed it. I felt like I was in a 5 star hotel and I was treated like royalty. I arrived in pain feeling lost and alone and left feeling like I had gained a family."

"My mother stayed at The Health Center of Coconut Creek for a couple of months. It was quite nice. They were helpful. They did what they needed to do. I really didn't have anything negative to say about this facility. It seemed to be a very nice place. They had very nice staff. The therapy people were very nice. The rooms were very nice. The dining room was nice as well. I had dinner with my mother there and the food looked very good to me. "

"My parents are in the process of moving onto the property. The Independent living facility they are moving into gives them the luxury of living independently in a condo but with the security of life time health car at a reasonable cost. Its giving my parents the peace of mind that they will be taken care of medically for the rest of their lives with the security they will never burden family with any medical debt if it rears its ugly head. The property is beautifully landscaped with many fountain filled lakes and beautiful birds of all shapes and sizes. The Independent living facility is the most modern and up to date facility out there. I will update this website once my parents move in and let you know how the facility is treating my parents, the new residence of St Andrews. This is an amazing new experience for them and we are hoping St Andrews comes through and makes it everything we think it will be as a wonderful new experience for the latter years of my parents lives. "

"My mother moved into Boca Raton Rehabilitation Center six weeks ago. The care is very good. There are numerous CNAs and nurses around the clock and a great patient-to-caretaker ratio. She is properly cared for, and the physical therapy program has been excellent. The nurses, the staff, and the doctor had been very responsive, and her care has greatly improved. She's in a shared room which has been wonderful for her. There are a lot of activities by the Activities Director, who comes in regularly, and all the different dates, like Cinco de Mayo, he had a little party and brought around some mocktails and some chips. They have activities that the residents can attend. And then there's outdoor time and conversation talk three times a day. The physical therapy program is fabulous. They're working on returning her back to being mobile with physical and occupational therapy. The staff is great. As far as the physical appearance of the facility, it could use some fresh paint and landscape, but we're there for the care."

"I think Avante at Boca Raton, Inc. is awesome. It's a good place. I'm blessed that my mom got in there and that she is being taken care of. The people are very personable and very attentive. She seems to be thriving there. It's clean and the people are all nice. They let me bring things in for her, so they're very accommodating. The food looked very good, too."

"My dad was at Seaview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, but I was moving him to another facility. It was OK, but sometimes the nurses don't do what they were supposed to do. I could see a lot of nurses just standing around, and I could see the patient needing something and trying to alert them, but they were talking among themselves. I was calling to check on my dad because he lost his phone, and every station that I called had me on hold for a long time, they transferred me to this person, and that person was supposed to go get my dad. All in all, everybody was nice to him. The people were nice, and it's family oriented. They made him happy. They liked him, and he had his own room. The cleanliness was good. They kept it clean, and I had no complaint about that. "

"I cannot rave more about the services at this facility, caring, empathetic, amazing! The rooms are clean and spacious. The nursing, aides are fantastic; they take care of your family and communication is five star! My mom did not participate in any activities as she was not able."

"My parents have friends that live here at John Knox Village. So we decided to take my mother here for rehab after she broke her hip. The place is very nice, and because it's John Knox their nurses and nurse assistants ratios are almost double the state requirement. That's really what sold us. My mother was here for 12 days, They gave her over two hours of therapy per day. My mother was treated at the "old" nursing home, and they open a brand new building with all private rooms next month. But even in the older building, the rehab and nursing care was amazing! "
