"Mom will be moving to Sunrise Health and Rehab Center. They have private rooms, and it is very clean. The food seems to be better. They also have a doctor in the facility, and they also have a nursing staff 24/7. Even if mom hasn’t moved in yet, from what I saw I would recommend this place. "

"My mom has been in Margate Health Care Center for two weeks now. It was referred to us by the hospital. Our experience there is very good. The facility is very good and beautiful. It is very clean. The staff is very helpful; they're good. The food is also good. They do have activities there. My mom went to rehab everyday and then they have games, presentations, etc. She likes this place. "

"The rooms are spacious, Large Windows and High Ceilings. Bathrooms are well thought out. Good Heating and A/C Friendly & Caring Staff, I feel I could have been in a far worse facility. As, I was treated well, and Thankful, I can live independently now. It is a Big Facility undergoing timley changes. It needs the updating it is going through. My Only complaint would be the food. Breakfast & Lunch are OK, but dinner needs upgrading. Cooperative Management. "

"My father was placed in Heartland which is a skilled nursing facility in Lauderhill, Florida. My father has Alzheimers and requires a high level of care. The staff at Heartland has made a home for my father and each member treats him with the highest level of care. He is content and happy because of the staff's commitment to each patient. Our family cannot praise the staff enough for their hard work and commitment. "

"My father is in the rehab portion of St. John's Nursing Center. Everything is clean. The people at the front desk are amazing. They greet you warmly. We have other experiences at other places that do not match what we see here. He's OK with the food. I have not seen the dining area. They do things daily. It's a Catholic entity, so they also offer that aspect. What we've seen so far is very good."

"This is the second time my husband's uncle has been at ManorCare, so they know who he is. He gets along well with all the staff. They like him, and he likes them. He is there for aggressive physical therapy, and they're very responsive. For instance, last week, I got a call from the physical therapist in the evening. They let you know everything that is going on with the relative or whoever you're responsible for, and they're very good about it. They are very responsive. ManorCare is very nice. It is a very nice looking from the outside. It is exactly what it is, it is lovely, and it is a very nice facility. "

"My mother stayed at The Health Center of Coconut Creek for a couple of months. It was quite nice. They were helpful. They did what they needed to do. I really didn't have anything negative to say about this facility. It seemed to be a very nice place. They had very nice staff. The therapy people were very nice. The rooms were very nice. The dining room was nice as well. I had dinner with my mother there and the food looked very good to me. "

"My parents have friends that live here at John Knox Village. So we decided to take my mother here for rehab after she broke her hip. The place is very nice, and because it's John Knox their nurses and nurse assistants ratios are almost double the state requirement. That's really what sold us. My mother was here for 12 days, They gave her over two hours of therapy per day. My mother was treated at the "old" nursing home, and they open a brand new building with all private rooms next month. But even in the older building, the rehab and nursing care was amazing! "

"The only reason I don't give 5 stars is the lack of communication among the staff and very bad misunderstandings with two of the nurses. Nurse Helen is fabulous the few times she attended me. The rooms are beautiful with private bathroom and shower. The food is very good, nice and hot. I would return if future rehab is needed, but would request a better interview for medication needs. "

"Only a few months ago I had a very frightful experience with my mom, she was transferred from Plantation General Hospital to Plantation rehab. This was the best experience ever! The entire staff was very caring and offered the most help when needed. Although my mom is very quiet, and independent she needed help to maintained her dignity and Plantation Rehab did that for her! Major shout out to Tracey (administrator) Teddy (mom's favorite person) he really gave her a sense of wanting to live again ! Thank you Teddy for your kindness and support. Thank you to the Activity Coordinator and the entire staff who touched my mom in some way. "The entire staff is good, but the rehab and Dietary department were exceptionally helpful. I would call the kitchen if I didn't like what was sent to me and that will have a substitute meal ready. The rehab department was so gentle and patient with me even though I was sometimes difficult. I would recommend Wilton manor for your short term rehab if you are looking for a good one."
