"Forest Trace was good. They provide three meals a day and they had a lot of activities for seniors, like shopping, exercise, and a few various things. The lady who gave the tour was very professional, very knowledgeable, and very pleasant. She explained to me exactly what would have been provided and what would have been needed. She was very good at guiding me through the process. The room that I visited was a model room and it was spacious. It had an outside patio or balcony. You would have to bring your own furniture apparently as they don't provide the furniture. The dining area looked clean. It had a lot of tables. They also had a beauty salon, a park area where they can walk, and a pool."

"My mother was a resident for a short period of time until she passed away Aug 2021. From the moment we moved her there, the outpouring of love,care and understanding was everything we had hoped for. Merle and Don with their wonderful staff took over immediately with mom's care and an immediate change came over her that I haven't seen in over a year. Her appetite changed with their excellent fresh cooked meals and her personality came back with the extra attention and care she was receiving. We couldn't be happier that mom was able to spend her final days in such a caring and attentive environment. The home is very tastefully done and amazingly clean.The staff were all very pleasant to talk to and very efficient in what they do. The moment I walked in the door and started to talk with Merle, I felt as if a huge weight was lifted from me.The referral I received was from a person in the healthcare industry who said they would move their own mother there. Once I visited, I was hooked. "

"I like Cherry Oak Active Senior Living Residence. Everything is covered. There's a lot of biometric security, but I could go inside, and I like it. However, it's not $2400; it's $2800. My husband has Alzheimer's, and he's in a wheelchair. I like it because it had very good spaces, it's nice, they had activities, and they take care of the people. The rooms were nice. Everything was fine. It's not so elegant or very nice, but it's OK. The staff was very kind. They didn't allow me to walk all over the place because of the pandemic, but it's a really clean and nice facility."

"The rooms were adequate and clean. They had a variety of activities every day like bingo, reading, group activities, and individual activities. There was a cinema and barber or the ladies' hairdresser. There were quite a few activities going on there. It's up to the individual if they want to partake or not. The staff was friendly and informative, and looked after us, including the staff in the restaurant. All the staff basically was quite friendly and respondent. The menu was varied and OK."

"We had a tour and a lunch at The Court at Palm Aire and my uncle ended up selecting that one. It's from non-assisted to full nursing care so they have the whole range. The foyer and the apartments were very nice and very spacious. The food and dining room was adequate. The menu was varied enough and I thought it was very good. Everybody was very helpful and very nice. People came up to my aunt and uncle and greeted them and wished them well because they thought they were moving in. They had lectures, yoga, card games, bingo, movies, organized wine tastings, all kinds of social activities. "

"I did a tour of Jacob's Tender Loving Care Assisted Living Facility. It's like a brand-new home, their regular bedrooms; It was very nicely done. It's new from what I hear, that's why it's beautiful. The staff, a mother and a daughter; They were both very nice, and they seem to know their business. It was nice, very clean, and nice-sized. The bedrooms and stuff were nice sizes. It was a corner lot, so it was a big, big place. They had a pool in case you're interested; I thought it was interesting. The dining room is nice and has a big table. It was spacious and good sized. It felt very homey."

"We have chosen The Palms at Plantation for my parents because it's close to our house. We can just go over there more times a day. The staff members were very knowledgeable about the subject and had a lot of experience. Each person there was pulled from another facility, so they all had long-term experience. They have all kinds of activities. They have nursing staff like RNs besides LPNs. They have an activity director, too. The director has been very knowledgeable and helpful."
