"My parents moved into Waterside Landing, and they love it. The place is nicely renovated. My parents' apartment looks over the lake, which is beautiful. They have all the facilities that you need. My parents love the food, so they're just happy. They are in independent living with assistance from the nursing staff if needed. The staff members were amazing. They've made the transition easy for my parents and made it easy for me, even being out of state. They have multiple activities every day. They have a pool, a workout room, clubs, and entertainment. They have Medicaid."

"I recently visited this assisted living residence for my dad who is in need of a lot of care. The marketing person was extremely knowledgeable and she made me feel at ease. While touring, some of the employees working along the path made me feel good about placing my dad there as they came up to me and welcomed me personally. It is very clean and its a beautiful place. In the end, I was able to get all my questions/concerns answered. I visited many along my search, but none tops this facility! I moved my dad in! "

"The Hart facility has been so good to my mom that I find it hard to select among the highlights. The key to explaining the level of care she has received is that the owners, Rodney (a firefighter) and his wife (a nurse) really do treat the residents of Hart Assisted Living as members of their own family. Here are 3 specific instances of this (there are more). 1. When he determined my mom needed a hospital bed to ease the pain she suffered from at night, Rodney fought the Medicare system and got them to provide one for her. 2. When my mom suffered a medical emergency and was taken to the hospital, Rodney went with the ambulance and stayed with her the entire day until she was released, because he knew she would be petrified at having to deal with any of that on her own. 3. As her condition worsened during her 4th year there, the Hart staff stepped up her level of care, including bathing, toilet assistance, and helping get her from bed to wheelchair and back. They even hand feed her several meals a week when she is otherwise unable to eat. My mom is still alert and will be 100 years old this September, and I truly believe she would never have reached this milestone without the loving care she has been and is receiving at Hart Assisted Living. One final point. Assisted Living facilities DO NOT do this, but Rodney made my mom a pledge to keep her there till "death do them part" and is doing everything he can to live up to it. Since my mom’s biggest fear has always been that she is someday going to be sent to a nursing home, she needs constant reassurance, and that’s what she is getting. For all these reasons and more, I could not recommend Hart Assisted Living more highly."

"My mother has moved into Jacob's Tender Loving Care Assisted Living Facility. I liked the vibe they gave me. It's more of a home environment. I was there when they were preparing meals, and they looked appetizing, and my mom said the food was good. It is family-owned and I met the mother, daughter, and son. They're very nice. I met a couple of the employees there. My mother likes them, and they seem nice to her. It's in a nice community. It's a clean and nice place. Value for money is great."

"We have chosen The Palms at Plantation for my parents because it's close to our house. We can just go over there more times a day. The staff members were very knowledgeable about the subject and had a lot of experience. Each person there was pulled from another facility, so they all had long-term experience. They have all kinds of activities. They have nursing staff like RNs besides LPNs. They have an activity director, too. The director has been very knowledgeable and helpful."

"We visited the independent living community of Independence Hall. It's an older building, but it's very nice and they have renovated the entire place. The staff was very pleasant and very knowledgeable. We had lunch there, too, and the food was excellent. The rooms themselves were very nice. We looked at a 1-bedroom and a 2-bedroom apartment. You bring your own furniture in."

"I toured Williamsburg Landing. The experience was great. The community seemed to be very caring. Every staff member I encountered was very nice and smiled when I approached. The dining room area was nice and clean, and right across from it was the community center where they did the activities, which looked very nice. I saw a studio apartment and a one-bedroom. They were spacious and good for one person. The staff was fantastic."

"The Meridian at Waterways is where I would want to go if I needed to go somewhere. I was extremely happy with it. They are a rather new development. It's right on a major waterway. The views are fantastic. The dining is on the seventh floor, and you have views of the ocean and the waterway. It just appealed to me immensely. There's beautiful artwork in the common areas and the hallways. It was nice. The staff was fantastic. I met with the chef and he explained the meals that they prepare and the fact that if you have a favorite recipe from your family, you bring it in and he will prepare it. If you have a favorite cookie recipe, he will make cookies for you. It was just a good feeling. It was beautiful. The rooms are reasonably sized. The only comment I would have is the windows in the various rooms seem to be small, but then when you're in your room, I don't think you stand around looking out the window. I would like larger windows, but they are what they are. There's the ease of parking. The entryway has a beautiful sculpture as you enter the lobby. They have a nice receptionist and receiving area. The hallways are not long and hotel-like. They seem to be very short. All in all, I was very very impressed with it."
