"HarborChase of Coral Springs is small enough to be a quaint family-like atmosphere. I like that it's all on one floor, and the appearance is very nice. Mom has only been there for a mont,h but I'm very happy. They have music therapy, cultural events, and religious ceremonies. "

"I went to see this facility, which is very nice. If I was looking to stay in Southeast Florida, that's what I would consider. They had studios, one-bedrooms, and large two-bedrooms, but the one-bedroom would be plenty big enough for me. I thought it was very spacious and very nice. I did not eat there, but I saw their menu, and it looked pretty nice. They have happy hours, they have water aerobics, and all kinds of stuff for the residents. They had a beauty shop, and they had transportation to wherever you needed to go and so forth. The only staff member I met was the woman that took us around. We were supposed to have lunch there but nobody bothered. I went to see the independent but they also had an assisted living. I also saw that they had gardens there."

"My mother has moved into Jacob's Tender Loving Care Assisted Living Facility. I liked the vibe they gave me. It's more of a home environment. I was there when they were preparing meals, and they looked appetizing, and my mom said the food was good. It is family-owned and I met the mother, daughter, and son. They're very nice. I met a couple of the employees there. My mother likes them, and they seem nice to her. It's in a nice community. It's a clean and nice place. Value for money is great."

"The Court at Palm Aire had a five-star rating. Besides being clean and orderly, everybody was very pleasant. It was a pleasant place with a lot going on. It was open, airy, and clean, and everything was up to date. The carpet was clean and there wasn't an odor in the place. The patients were all smiling and seemed happy. They had a pool, a garden, a dining room, a library, and a hair dresser. Every day there were different activities. "

"We have chosen The Palms at Plantation for my parents because it's close to our house. We can just go over there more times a day. The staff members were very knowledgeable about the subject and had a lot of experience. Each person there was pulled from another facility, so they all had long-term experience. They have all kinds of activities. They have nursing staff like RNs besides LPNs. They have an activity director, too. The director has been very knowledgeable and helpful."

"My mother-in-law is at The Meridian at Waterways. It's a very nice-looking place. I've dealt with many facilities, and they all have their issues. It's the same everywhere. Communication is bad, and I'm not saying that they're any worse than any of the other facilities. It's a beautiful facility, but it doesn't mean that the care is any better than anyplace else. It's the same at every facility. She doesn't do any of the activities. They have an exercise program, a place for physical therapy, and a beauty parlor. She doesn't like the food, but that's not to say that it's not good. She's not happy there, and I think it's overpriced. The ratio is very poor for the help to the residents, though it's clean."
