"Special thanks and kudos going out to Indi, Diana and Claudia. They're going above and beyond to help me and my mom with her move-in experience last week, and for their continuing kindness, compassion and support. I know it's not easy to help someone adjust to new surroundings, especially during this time with restrictions having been able to visit my mom, and I wish things were different, but at least I know that she is in very good hands and that she is safe and well. I'm sure that we are all looking forward to better times, when things can get back to the way they were designed to be. In the meantime, I have confidence the staff at Forest Trace are giving service with heart and doing their level best to care for the physical and emotional well-being of their residents."

"We went here. It was very nice, it was clean, and they were very friendly and welcoming. They were undergoing construction at that time. The person who took me around was very, very patient, she explained everything, and she was very, very pleasant and thorough. She took me everywhere and showed me around. The grounds were not big enough, so there wasn't anywhere to walk like a nice pathway, or a garden -- something like that -- which I would have liked."

"I live in Villa Rio Vista. It's a very nice place. They let me handle my medications a little bit more freely than most places because I work a job, and I have to take them with me. They don't require me to be here when they give them to me. They leave them in a package, and then I take them when I come home from work a little bit later at night. We're free to come and go as we please. I like that we're located near stores, Jimmy John's, Burger King, and Dunkin' Donuts. We also live near a Walgreens. It is centrally located. We have an extra TV room. I don't take part in much of the activities, but we have that. We have upstairs and downstairs. It's not quite like a house. It was converted from an apartment building to assisted living. It's probably the nicest one in this town. The staff is excellent. They always take care of us and always ask if we need help. If someone has a little trouble going out and getting sodas or something, the staff will buy the sodas. He'll go out of his way to make sure we're happy. The facility is excellent, and it's landscaped nicely. It's lovely. I think it's worth the money because utilities are included, and we have a refrigerator in our room, TVs, and an extra activities room. I just think this place is top-notch. They treat me well."

"The staff at Cherry Oak Active Senior Living Residence was very nice. The facility was very clean. The memory care section was adequate. They had a movie room, arts and crafts, and a beautiful garden outside. The dining room was lovely."

"I like the rooms at Victoria Villa Assisted Living. The rooms were neat, clean, and tidy. I like the way it was situated. The grounds have nice places to walk, and there is a big pond, and that was nice to have there. The administrator was nice and helpful. She gave me a lot of tips and hints. The lady who owns the place seemed to be on the ball, too. She was amongst the staff and amongst the patients monitoring everything and making sure everything was going smoothly and right."

"Belmont Village Fort Lauderdale was five miles from our house. It's all a beautiful location. The food was great. There was nothing we didn't like about it. The floor plans were also great. The building amenities were good with the gym and the pool and they overlooked the coast. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. We have all kinds of brochures that the woman gave us. She was excellent. Cleanliness was fine. It was beautiful. It was the nicest place we've seen out here. There's no question about it."

"We toured Oakmonte Village of Davie. The atmosphere seems to be one of happiness. In some other places, people were there but not happy being there. At Oakmonte, it looked like people were actually happy going to different tasks and experiences. They seemed to be happy. I was also happy to see that they had ping-pong, which is also a wonderful thing to do. They had a treadmill. The food looked more mediocre than at other facilities, but the other things were nice. It was sunny, the people were attempting to please, and the person who took us around had a very positive outlook and was very proud of what he was doing. He believes very much in Oakmonte. So do I."

"The Meridian at Waterways is where I would want to go if I needed to go somewhere. I was extremely happy with it. They are a rather new development. It's right on a major waterway. The views are fantastic. The dining is on the seventh floor, and you have views of the ocean and the waterway. It just appealed to me immensely. There's beautiful artwork in the common areas and the hallways. It was nice. The staff was fantastic. I met with the chef and he explained the meals that they prepare and the fact that if you have a favorite recipe from your family, you bring it in and he will prepare it. If you have a favorite cookie recipe, he will make cookies for you. It was just a good feeling. It was beautiful. The rooms are reasonably sized. The only comment I would have is the windows in the various rooms seem to be small, but then when you're in your room, I don't think you stand around looking out the window. I would like larger windows, but they are what they are. There's the ease of parking. The entryway has a beautiful sculpture as you enter the lobby. They have a nice receptionist and receiving area. The hallways are not long and hotel-like. They seem to be very short. All in all, I was very very impressed with it."

"Moved my 91 year old Dad into an assisted living, 1 bedroom apartment about 4 months ago. For the most part he has adjusted very well. The staff are all very kind, the apartment is large with a full kitchen, and there are enough activities to keep him busy if he chooses. His only minor complaint is the food(which I tried a couple of times and was good). They have some interesting dishes made with sauces and spices, and he likes his food plain. There is always an option to get something plain though. He also can have his cat with him, and his car which is a great plus. So far we're very happy with the decision. "

"Our mother has lived in this assisted living facility for three years. We are so very very happy with the care and the facility. They are so wonderful, everyone who works there seems so happy and very polite to all the residents. We visit our mother, so we do see what goes on with everyone. The nursing staff is exceptional with our mothers care as well as with the other residents. We have to say unfortunately in the assisted living part our loved ones are not easy to handle, they can get very mean and sometimes will go after the nurses. We have seen this a lot, there is not one time we have seen the nurses loose it on them, they handle the situation with love and care, lol better then we could. Not only do they help our mother but often have to help us understand why this is happening to someone we love so very much!!!! We can't think of another place that we would trust our mother the most important person in our lives. "

"My mother was a resident for a short period of time until she passed away Aug 2021. From the moment we moved her there, the outpouring of love,care and understanding was everything we had hoped for. Merle and Don with their wonderful staff took over immediately with mom's care and an immediate change came over her that I haven't seen in over a year. Her appetite changed with their excellent fresh cooked meals and her personality came back with the extra attention and care she was receiving. We couldn't be happier that mom was able to spend her final days in such a caring and attentive environment. The home is very tastefully done and amazingly clean.The staff were all very pleasant to talk to and very efficient in what they do. The moment I walked in the door and started to talk with Merle, I felt as if a huge weight was lifted from me.The referral I received was from a person in the healthcare industry who said they would move their own mother there. "Park Summit is close to where I live now, It’s a very nice place, and it’s established. The apartment is very similar to what I have now in my house. The staff has been extremely cooperative. There’s lectures, entertainment, and card playing. "
