I moved into Belmont Village Fort Lauderdale. The staff here is wonderful, and I found many friends among the residents. I've been asked to be an ambassador, to welcome new members because they think I'm personable. They do accept dogs. They have a very small dog park here on the campus. My apartment is roomy with a kitchen. The floors are hardwood and I have a living room with a credenza and a television. I have a beautiful view of the boat harbor and the ocean. I'm doing a small loveseat, a couple of chairs, and lamps. I have a full-size bed, a big dresser, two nightstands, and a chair. Between the bathroom and the bedroom are two closets on either side, which is really nice. My bathroom is very large and very pretty. We have aqua aerobics, yoga and meditation, news and reviews, Jewish services, gardening club, bridge, movie nights, jewelry making, cheese and wine, and discussion groups.

Belmont Village Fort Lauderdale was five miles from our house. It's all a beautiful location. The food was great. There was nothing we didn't like about it. The floor plans were also great. The building amenities were good with the gym and the pool and they overlooked the coast. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. We have all kinds of brochures that the woman gave us. She was excellent. Cleanliness was fine. It was beautiful. It was the nicest place we've seen out here. There's no question about it.

In general, I have less positive things about Belmont Village Fort Lauderdale. Their parking is in a garage. Once you park your car, you have to walk through the garage to get to the main entrance lobby. I find that not inviting, especially if you're having guests or company coming, and we were guests to that facility. I didn't know where to go to get into the building. It was not well signed. When I got to the reception area, the woman kind of looked at me and said "Oh, you have an appointment?" Like, it was a surprise, but then she finally checked and said, "Yes, you have an appointment and I will have someone come and give you a tour." The staff was OK. They were informative. They knew what they were doing. They answered all my questions. The facility was clean, but the hallways were very hotel-like. They're very long. The rooms, in general, seem to be small but along the hallways, they had a community living room area every so often so that if you had visitors, you would probably not stay in your room and would go to one of these. The rooms didn't have room for an extra sofa and a chair. It didn't feel homey. It was more of an institutional feeling.

Belmont Village Fort Lauderdale was beautiful because it's relatively new and it was high-end. I met a couple of staff and they were knowledgeable, friendly, and very good. This facility was surrounded by streets, so there was no courtyard. But it was very clean and neat, and it was very good.

My mom is now at Belmont Village Fort Lauderdale. She was welcomed with open arms. Everyone was concerned about her and made sure she was checked on. They have a nurse's station immediately available to her if she needs it. The food is amazing. They're delicious, chef-prepared food. The facility itself is high-class. It's all the best, like the best furniture, the best artwork, the best everything. They want to make sure she is happy. They escort her to memory care in a group to the activities for the day, and then the group also goes to lunch together. They have a meal together. They have a movie every night that she can go see. There's a pool and there's a concierge that would take her out shopping if she wanted to. It's the opposite end of that other place. It's high-class and 100% the best senior living facility that I found during my search. The facility is beautiful, it's spotless, and it's wonderful. They came through with everything they promised.

I went to Belmont Village Fort Lauderdale. I just visited the general facilities and independent living. I did not look specifically at assisted, but they have it all integrated, which is what I like. If you entered as independent living and you need assisted living, they send the assistance to you. You don't move to a different section or unit. My tour was excellent. There isn't anything I disliked. They have fantastic programs. They have lectures. They have wine tasting. They have bourbon and bites tasting. It's just an fantastic place with a view of the ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway. The personnel is excellent. They're supportive, responsive, anything you would want, and caring. The food is superb. It's restaurant quality for sure. It's like a luxury hotel and it is relatively new, so that helps. It's beautifully decorated and outfitted with lovely wall hangings and furnishings. The area is excellent. It's within walking distance to the supermarket and liquor store, and it's just across the street from a beautiful mall with Dillard's and Macy's.

I went to see Belmont Village Fort Lauderdale. I liked this place. The actual apartments were nice. The facility was very nice. It seemed like they had a lot of interesting activities, and the staff was very nice and very friendly. The residents seemed to be quite happy there. Also, it's located in the city, so you get easy access to the city. It was like an apartment building. It didn't have a big campus, but it had a pool, a gym, and physical therapy. They had a lot of different levels of service depending upon what your needs are. My concern about it was that it's quite expensive for what you're getting.

Not the place for anyone, pretty on the outside but not so pretty on the inside. So many choices in the area, look and compare and skip this place. We were most interested in the 24/7 nursing care, a complete disappointment. Nothing to be proud of, ask the questions then get the answers in writing. Prices go up but quality does not. Poorly staffed and the lack of longevity with employees speaks volumes.

Belmont Village Fort Lauderdale was beautiful, but the service was horrible. Mom stayed there for four months and I took her out of there. Everybody just passed the buck. It was very hard to get in touch with people. There were only two good caregivers there. The service at the restaurant talked down to the residents, they were disrespectful to them. The food was terrible, but the view was beautiful. They had good activities, but the nursing part of it was not good. They had happy hour, live entertainment, and parties, which were all very good. They should improve their patient care, customer care, and communication.

My cousin moved to Belmont Village Senior Living Fort Lauderdale, and she was very happy. It was an outstanding facility in everything from the service to the people that we were met with. The facility itself was just immaculate and beautiful. We looked at some other places and you can tell the difference when you walk in. It's really clean and is a top-notch, first-class facility. They have all kinds of activities. Once you move in, they arrange a family dinner. They did so for my cousin to meet other people on her first night there. There are lots of things. I've just been extremely impressed. The food is good too. It's very nice with lots of variety. They have a movie night every night. They have live music twice a week, and they have art classes and trips that they can take. They also have card groups like canasta. There is something every day and multiple things each day that people can participate in.

I moved into Belmont Village Fort Lauderdale two weeks ago. It's convenient for my son who lives not far away. Physically it's magnificent, beautifully decorated, and very elegant. I'm sitting out on the patio now. Most of the staff are very convivial and helpful. Their food is good, not great. I have participated in activities, they're ok, I think there should be more. They have word games, painting, documentary film, and poker. I have a furnished apartment, and that was one of the reasons I chose this, so I didn't have to rent furniture. They can improve on activities and better food.

Belmont Village Fort Lauderdale is a beautiful facility. The people were really nice. We just didn't like the location, and it was a little expensive. We didn't find the particular apartment we liked, and we didn't like the view. We didn't like the location basically, but it looked nice. They offered a lot. They had a nice little gym and rehab was available. The pool was nice. The dining room was nice. It just wasn't the right fit for us. The staff during the tour was very good, very nice, very pleasant, and very helpful. We also met one of the physical therapists, and we spoke with him a little bit. I wasn't crazy about the kitchen. They had a very small refrigerator and a two-burner stove. It was more like for making lunches and stuff. The apartments were nice. We didn't find one that jumped out at us. Most of the views were of rooftops. We're used to a golf course view and ocean view. The dining room was very nice, and the menus looked good. It's a new, clean, and beautiful facility. I'm sure it's perfect for so many people. They have a pool. They have some chairs to help people get into the pool if they are limited. They had an exercise room and physical therapists there. They had gardens, card rooms, and a library. It had wide halls. It had a nice feel to it. It just wasn't the location for us. Everything was new and nice. It's kept up well.

This is a beautiful new building with jaw dropping water views and award winning architecture and design. Amazing edgeless, salt water pool and first rate gym. Elegant dining room, with a manager and wait staff that couldn’t be better. From top to bottom, the entire management and staff is highly trained, kind, caring and motivated. Wonderful creative activities, exquisite gourmet healthy cuisine, incredible attention to detail. Over the top luxury senior living. All the residents seem very happy and engaged. No excessive rules—very flexible and accommodating. Pet friendly. Just perfect!!!
