My brother is now at Villa Rio Vista. Overall, it's very good. The hygiene, attention, friendliness, the facility in general, and the people that work there are very good. Food is good and well prepared. For activities they have conversations, mental games, and movies. They do all kinds of activities. However, the physical facility needs a little bit of freshening up.

Look no further-looking for an ALF!? Villa Rio Vista is unbelievable! The owner took my dad in from a very corrupt facility-and made him feel like a King-Alex goes out of his way to appeal to my fathers every whim! The facility is so beautiful-grounds are meticulous-my dad is able to roam outside in this gated, secure facility, listen to live music, get his own groceries, Alex even takes him for hair cuts-amazing! I sleep well at night now knowing this IS the best place my dad can be-thank you so much to VRV owner-Alex, & ALL staff who so lovingly provide my dad w respect, care and just the ability -even with dementia-be who he is!!!!...a KING!!!!

My sister M.has been with Villa Rio Vista for 3 years. A hard decision to make for both of us, since she has been independent her whole adult life. The staff at Rio Vista Helped to settle her in and comfort her with her needs. Though out the years Rio Vista has accommodated my sister and have grown together. I see my sister often, I live close by During Covid I have been fortunate to visit from the sidewalk outside though the gate twice a week, six feet apart during Covid virus even though quarantine M. seems to be thriving I know her needs are being met I've grown to depend on Rio Visita to care for her. and they are on top of it! I feel very fortunate to have found them. I think they are a great and caring assistant living facility. A.M.B.

The rooms are adequate in size kept very clean and are warm in appearance. The staff is friendly, professional and helpful. My mother is able to engage in conversation on the patio, talk a walk in the shade of the numerous palm trees, read a book from the library, watch a movie or just rest comfortably in her room. She has only been there for a few weeks, but has gone with a companion to Walgreen's about 2 blocks away for a treat, to a gathering at a nearby women's club and to a local salon to have her hair cut. This facility is a hidden treasure with a very dedicated and compassionate staff. They helped me during a very desperate time to find a safe and caring place for my mother. I highly recommend calling for a tour.

Villa Rio Vista was horrendous a terrible place to live. First of all, you had roommates and when you went outside the room you were outside. The entire area was up and down with hills and I'm on a wheelchair so it was very difficult to get around. Their dining room was on a slant at a 45-degree angle and you could get hurt just trying to stand up. They didn't have enough room for people to eat at the same time so people had to eat in shifts, and there was no choice of food so you ate what they gave you. Every day was a bowl of soup and a sandwich. The place was horrible. They brought in some people who played music and entertainers, but other than that, there are virtually no activities. I was there for about four or five months and I wouldn't advise anyone to go to that place. It's not a good value.

We liked Villa Rio Vista, but they didn’t provide complete care. They had a library, exercises, and singing. They showed me studio, single, and double rooms.

I have been working with Villa Rio Vista clients and families over the last five years and continue to be impressed with the care, activities, and entertainment! The administrative staff lead with kindness and compassion, never too busy to meet the emotional needs of each resident assuring each person feels safe, secure and cared for - preventing residents from the all too common signs of loneliness and boredom. Five stars for Villa Rio Vista

We liked Villa Rio Vista. It was very nice. The rooms were clean. Everybody looked happy and were all outside doing stuff, even the people in wheelchairs. They were lively and not laying down waiting to die. The people were awesome and very friendly. They showed us around the rooms. The dining area was very clean. The amenities were good.

Rio Vista was not high on my list of places. It wasn't as nice as other I had seen. It was too small and unattractive. I met with the director of nursing, and she was very nice and very knowledgeable about all of the people there.

This place is absolutely beautiful. First of all, it is in a fabulous location with great views of the outdoor pond and garden area. I first walked in there after taking a glance of their outdoor garden area. When I walked in, I was impressed. The place was clean, smelled good, and the staff greeted me with a smile. I received a tour of both the inside and outside. One of the staff members even offered me to stay for lunch. I accepted and had great conversation. They answered all my questions and said I could call anytime if I had more questions. I had a good time visiting this facility. Everyone was super nice.
