Nursing Home Communities in Plantation, FL

"This facility and the staff was a blessing in the sky! My 86 yo mother broke a bone on Feb 2020. Less than a month they lockdown the facility do to Covid19. I was devastated. My mother has dementia, but the staff was AMAZING to make me feel comfortable. The RNs Kim, Marsha and Adrian, the CNAs Guerda, Lourdes, Sonia (and all the other), the Activity Manager, ETC... ALL AMAZING. I wish other people could appreciate what they do to their love ones. How difficult is to dealing with all the issues they bring and still have a smile in the face! I know that I will never be able to repay all the love and care my mom gets from them. Love you guys!!"

"We found a facility called Life Care Center at Inverrary for Mother. We chose this because this facility seemed to be the best fit for what she needed. She gets a lot of care. I have found the staff to be very professional. They are very good about how they treat her. Mother says she likes the food. She has gained some weight since she has been there. Her room is more than adequate for what she needs, given her condition at this time. It is very nice, but the cabinets are dated. The physical room itself needs to be upgraded a little bit. I'm paying a whole lot of money, and seriously, it is one of the most expensive facilities in the county. Also, they need to have larger televisions because seniors can't see well, and they need to add more channels, too. Give them some television channels that they could watch, like movies they grew up with. They have a whole bunch of activities. They have singing and people playing instruments. They have a book room. However, my mother, in her condition, is not capable of participation. Overall, compared to other places that she had been in the last period of time because of her health, she is very happy there. "

"Saint Johns Nursing Center is a Catholic hospital, and they've been very good to my mom. I like them, and they have been good to her. They have media things every couple of months. We get together with everybody, and they are very helpful. They are very good, and so far she has been great. They are hands-on so they keep me in the loop, and that is what I want. The food is not great. That would be the one thing that I would say that is kind of important when somebody is spending their last days. I am kind of bummed about that, but everything else is pretty good. If you want to pray, I like the fact that they have a chapel downstairs. They have nuns and a bishop that comes around, so I like that as well. "

"I had a nice walk around Sunrise but we were passed up. It was the same distance from where I live as the other place. From word of mouth, they thought the place was top notch. "

"My mom has been in NSPIRE Healthcare Tamarac for almost two years now. It's a good facility and my daughter visits there quite often. The layout is also good, but we really can't go in there much now because of COVID. She only meets us downstairs, but it's clean and accessible. The staff is attentive, friendly, courteous, and helpful. They just need to have more interaction and therapy for the residents."

"Heartland of Tamarac was a clean facility. They had a nursing home upstairs and everyday they had activities like bingo. Everyday I went to see my mother and every 2 in the afternoon, we would go upstairs and participate in those activities. It was very good and very active. They had taken good care of my mother. They had an extremely good rehab. There were physical therapist that help her do rehab every morning. She liked that too. "

"My mother has been a long term resident at Broward Nursing for 6 years. The staff is wonderful and extremely attentive to my mother's needs. They communicate with me very well and always keep me informed regarding her care. She has made many friends at the facility and enjoys living there."

The staff is very knowledgeable, they were friendly and went above and beyond to meet our demanding needs. The facility was very clean with no odors. "My family lives in this nursing facility, and I never had any problem with her care. I found the Social Worker to be very caring and very supportive to us . The SSI check is not taken away when you go into any nursing facility for a little time and is only changed when you apply for Medicaid to stay in the nursing home.. I am thankful that we found this place with caring staff who are there for us. God Bless them. I would reccomend this place to my freinds or any one who wants to be takened care of if there`s a need. "I chose Manor Pines and my friend is there. It's a garden type of community. Their staff is professional and dedicated to you. They have typical American cuisine. We had turkey and yams. Amenities include on-site physical and occupational therapy, daily activities, and walkable grounds. Everything my friend needs is available on site."
