"It is great. I have been in the rooms every day; it’s a great place, and she is very happy. The room is 700sq. feet; it’s a got a balcony, full kitchen, and a nice clean bathroom with grab bars in the shower. The staff has been terrific, and they have done everything I could dream of. There are exercise programs, they had bingo, there are mind improvement games, and there is live music. I had dinner there twice; the food and dining area were great. They have their act together, and that really impressed us."

"Just from first impressions, the place is kept clean and provides a welcoming atmosphere. The security guard at the gate was very informative and courteous. He allowed me in to talk to the seniors inside about Toys for TOTS, a non-profit organization that collects toys for the holidays to give out to low-income families and their children. The elderly were very sweet and had brought some donations. Everyone seems very pleasant and happy living here. No concerns were expressed. I asked an elderly woman about her home here at The Palace and she expressed how grateful she was that Publix was a short walking distance. She said she couldn't drive due to poor vision, but she also wanted to maintain her independence. This Palace was a right fit for this sweet woman. She could get her shopping done while living in an environment with others just like her.Another gentleman approached me and said he wanted to leave his previous living facility. His previous nursing home was filled with nurses that he described as 'rude and unapologetic.' However, at the Palace, he recovered from his medical conditions and was able to live in with his wife while having weekend visits with his grandchildren. He mentioned that at the nursing home, he feared his grandchildren could catch a communicable disease.Overall, The Palace at Weston Senior Living is a wonderful place to reside. With all the gardening always being maintained and with such new facilities, one couldn't find a nicer place to live at. Friendly staff and residents equals a happy retirement. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to move in with sweet senior residents. "

"My mom was a resident at this community for 5 years, it was as happy as it could be for her. During her last days the staff bent over backwards to accommodate her, they also have hospice on site which also aided with her condition. I couldn't have asked for more. She made so many friends and they had a little ceremony at the community after she passed. I would highly recommend this community to any family!! "

Abbey's Caring Residence is a family-owned facility that prides itself in quality above all. Abbey's is recently under new management with a new sense of freshness. Our community looks and feels like home, and not an industrialized facility. We take our food very seriously, providing 3 meals a day plus snacks whenever one is hungry. There is no such thing as not receiving food when one is hungry. Our menu is vibrant and healthy. We have a full-time cleaner constantly ensuring that our facilities are at a high level of cleanliness. We have caregivers on site 24/7 to assist with all matters, from showering, dressing, eating, ect. We provide medication management and ensure that our med techs are constantly being trained through our pharmaceutical professionals. We provide complete laundry services. We are extremely grateful to have the most caring and professional administrator, Sandra. She truly ensures that all are happy, safe, and healthy. "We went here. It was very nice, it was clean, and they were very friendly and welcoming. They were undergoing construction at that time. The person who took me around was very, very patient, she explained everything, and she was very, very pleasant and thorough. She took me everywhere and showed me around. The grounds were not big enough, so there wasn't anywhere to walk like a nice pathway, or a garden -- something like that -- which I would have liked."

"My sister M.has been with Villa Rio Vista for 3 years. A hard decision to make for both of us, since she has been independent her whole adult life. The staff at Rio Vista Helped to settle her in and comfort her with her needs. Though out the years Rio Vista has accommodated my sister and have grown together. I see my sister often, I live close by During Covid I have been fortunate to visit from the sidewalk outside though the gate twice a week, six feet apart during Covid virus even though quarantine M. seems to be thriving I know her needs are being met I've grown to depend on Rio Visita to care for her. and they are on top of it! I feel very fortunate to have found them. I think they are a great and caring assistant living facility. A.M.B."

"My mom has moved into Miami Gardens Manor, Inc. The owner is very nice, I love her. She's very clean, very caring, and she knows how to talk. When my mom gets outrageous or something, she knows how to talk it down. She has a lot of patience for her, so I love that. As far as the food, she asked my mom, what does she like. She told us she will get her anything that she likes to eat, but she said they're very strict on diet-wise. I love that part because, you know, my mom told her what she likes to eat. When I first got there, she made sure she had gloves. When my mom used the bathroom, she got up and made sure she wiped out everything. So, cleanliness is good, and the house is clean. When you walk in it has a nice atmosphere. She doesn't have a lot of activities, but they do color or play bingo, game boards, or watch TV. They have movie nights. She needs that, but if they can get more of them going outside, that would be good because they feel like they're trapped in a house."

"My mom was a resident at The Plaza for a year! She had the best care possible ! A loving caring staff... great communication and support! Beautiful apartment, great dining room and fun! "

"In general, I have less positive things about Belmont Village Fort Lauderdale. Their parking is in a garage. Once you park your car, you have to walk through the garage to get to the main entrance lobby. I find that not inviting, especially if you're having guests or company coming, and we were guests to that facility. I didn't know where to go to get into the building. It was not well signed. When I got to the reception area, the woman kind of looked at me and said "Oh, you have an appointment?" Like, it was a surprise, but then she finally checked and said, "Yes, you have an appointment and I will have someone come and give you a tour." The staff was OK. They were informative. They knew what they were doing. They answered all my questions. The facility was clean, but the hallways were very hotel-like. They're very long. The rooms, in general, seem to be small but along the hallways, they had a community living room area every so often so that if you had visitors, you would probably not stay in your room and would go to one of these. The rooms didn't have room for an extra sofa and a chair. It didn't feel homey. It was more of an institutional feeling."

"I like Independence Hall. It's a nice place, but you have to sign in and sign out, and I'm just not into that. I'm not ready for that right now. It's a great place. I don't have any problem with them. The units are nice and clean. It was beautiful. However, they didn't have any amenities, which was the other problem. They had large one-bedroom apartments that were nice. However, it's twice the money I'm paying where I'm at right now. They had a courtyard and all that. The staff was excellent, too."
