"I moved my dad at Miami Jewish, and he has been there for about 10 months now. So far they are good, and the food is excellent. They got a bunch of activities; he can go to the dining room, exercise, and play bingo, and if he wants to go out somewhere they can take me out. The best thing about the place is that it’s clean, and the people are nice. They do listen to you if there are concerns; they want you to sit down with them. "

"I will be moving into Margate Assisted Living. It is a nice place. The people there look like they are professional and knowledgeable. They just welcome you. The rooms are very clean, and they remodeled all the rooms. They've done the floors, the bathrooms, and the blinds. Everything looks brand new. The rooms are very big. You could put a king-sized bed and it could fit 2 people in there. They have bingo, bowling, a library, painting, jewelry making, music, a theater, games, and you could do a lot of things outside. The atmosphere there is very warm. They have music on the piano. They also have a showroom where people come and sell one day a week. You can buy anything you like - clothes and jewelry."

"My husband went here for over a year. He is now in a memory care assisted living center. He loved going to Sarahcare and I loved everything about it. Lewis, the owner, is the nicest person you will ever meet. The entire staff is wonderful. It is clean,the people are taken care of so well, it is like family. I would love to take him out of assisted living and bring him home and back to Sarahcare and have an aid help me at home. I am trying to work out a way to do this. wonderful people, wonderful care. happy place "

"My grandmother received services in this adult day care. Everyone treated her with love and respect. They helped her get Medicaid and other services. The place is very clean and everyone is very professional. They always helped the family and answered all our questions. She received all the care she needed and the family all the support necessary."

"The picture that this center has to denote its care is sooo misleading. As I approached the building it has absolutely no curb appeal and no windows. Ok, I thought don't judge a book by its cover. I rang a bell to enter. About 2 mins later someone answered the door. After I told them I was there for a tour they curtly asked me if I had and appt. I waited another 5 mins for the program director to give me a tour. In the meantime I could see the seniors just sitting at long tables,nothing in front of them, with no smiles or conversation. The director, Darlene, came and greeted me. She was extremely friendly and knowledgeable or at least knew what to say that would sell her program. We walked by the 'particpants' no body was engaged in anything, some were falling asleep right in their chair. Darlene took me for tour of the facilty which included one large room and other smaller area with a pool table. It was not a clean facility with quite a few hazards such as exposed light bulbs, multi-level floors that were not indicated and area rugs. They were extremely inexpensive compared to the other centers I visited. But, in this case you get what you pay for. Go visit for yourself, but I would definitely NOT recommend this center to anyone!!! "

"Everyone was great taking care of my husband. He was very happy when he came home. He had a great lunch. The staff was very patient with him. Every Friday they put music on and they sent me videos of him dancing. I would recommend this place to anyone who cares for their loved one and are looking for a place."

"My mother has been attending Monteverde Adult Activity Center for over a year now. I cannot say enough about the care that she has received at this center. Very family oriented, clean, very attentive and in a great location. My experience with the staff has been wonderful they take such pride and care in the care of my mother. "My mother goes to Morning Star Adult Day Care in the morning until about 2. For now it is working out. Morning Star Adult Day Care is not an adult day care really; it is more like they meet where they go have lunch and play dominoes and bingo. They do exercises. What they need to improve is the bussing service. Sometimes the driver is sick, and sometimes the bus doesn't come to pick them up. The food is good. They give them food to take home. "

"We toured A1 Senior Living. My friend did not like it because it was more for memory care. I'm not saying bad about it, and everything was okay. We checked the assisted living area. The rooms were very nice. They're individual rooms. The staff who gave us the tour was very nice and very educated. They have enough amenities. The staff were very good."

"I brought my mother here because she cannot be alone all day while I'm at work. The facility is bright and sunny, as is the staff. It was refreshing to hear my mother talk about the variety of activities she had taken part in by the end of her day. She ate well, and was given her medication. What a load off of my mind.
