"My mom is in Palms at St. Lucie West, and the place is good. The staff is very nice and very friendly. They are also attentive. She said the food is better now than it was when she first moved there. They have activities like bingo, arts and crafts, bible study, and singing. They also go out for lunch. "

"We liked The Brennity at Tradition. It was absolutely beautiful. We had a delicious lunch in the dining room and the service was excellent. Geraldine, the girl who guided us around, was excellent, pleasant, and knowledgeable. It was just a great experience for us. They have pools, game rooms, a theater, exercise, activities, and a small bistro where they gather in the afternoon for drinks before dinner. It was just all around a happy atmosphere. The library was big and gorgeous with comfy chairs. It was very nice."

We chose Sterling House because it was so homey, they even have a house cat. The other residents are really friendly and they have family nights. There are different kinds of rooms and they are very nice. I am in a little apartment that is 380 square feet. We have activities like playing games to increase our memory, they have people come in for music, there are all kinds of parties, and they keep us quite busy socially. "

They all knew my mother by name, and they knew me by name. If I came in, they would tell me where she is if she wasn't in her room. They were right on top of where the residents were. "My uncle is staying at Luxe Senior Living at Jupiter. He's in a 2-bedroom apartment. The care is really good. My uncle has no complaints. Everything seemed nice. The staff was nice. The apartments were clean. My uncle said the food is pretty good. His room is comfortable. They have a nice exercise room and movie room. The cafeteria is nice. They have lots of spacious outdoor areas to walk around. It is part of town. You can get anywhere in 10 minutes. The facility is only about five years old. It's expensive, but for a 2-bedroom, it's reasonable."

"I like the location and services of Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens, they seem to have a really nice operation going. We had a meal there, but the food wasn't the greatest. They discussed their calendar of events, and they did have a lot of activities."

"My tour of Palms Edge Assisted Living and Memory Care was very good. The staff was very professional and caring. They were very good and very detailed. The rooms that I saw were OK. They were not as fancy as some of the other assisted living places we had gone to. They were a little bit smaller, but they were very clean. The interaction that we had with the residents and the staff was very, very good. We were there during lunchtime. They were just starting to feed the residents. They had sandwiches, chips, and other things that looked good. It looked appealing, but we didn't eat there. The atmosphere was calm and safe. They had activities scheduled. We just didn't see any at the time because of the timeframe that we were there. They could probably improve a little bit more on the facility itself. It's an older facility. They have kept up with it as much as they can. Sometimes you can't do much more with an older facility, but it looks like they have been trying."

"My mother loved Moore Care more than life itself. She ran the place, I'd put it that way. They did everything she thought she want it done. I wanted her to go there because the location is in a very decent home atmosphere area. The house is just beautiful and so clean. My mother was a clean freak and everything has to be spotless. That's why she loved it because Keisha kept that place so clean. I've had dinner there with my mother. The food was excellent. In the area where they ate, most ladies go in and have talks. She liked bingo so they have that and sometimes I sit with them. My mother was really religious so I brought her a tape and she played her gospel tapes because it's hard for her to read. I also taped when I read the Bible. I told Keisha when I get old enough I want to be right there with her. That's the place that I pick for myself already. It's a really good place. I don't think my mother would have ever left if she had been there. "
