"It was lovely. It's in a wonderfully wooded area and they keep it just beautiful. I sat in the lobby for a while, I was watching people come and go from lunch, and everybody looked so happy. Everybody was so nice and it was clean and it was just lovely. I did not look at the rooms during the visit. I just looked at them online, because I don't know where my mom's going to end up, and what level of care she needs. But what I did see was lovely, I put a deposit to hold the spot for her. The staff I encountered was very nice. Everybody was very helpful. I was thrilled because it's close, and it's just nice. They have all kinds of activities. They have outings if she's able to do that. They go to the theater, the malls, parks, and they take them all over the place. They play games, they have bingo nights, and specialty dinner kind of nights, like for St. Patrick's Day, and stuff like that. Very comfortable, no stress."

"My mother-in-law is a resident of The Manor of Fort Pierce, and we love everything there. It's beautiful. It has a beautiful bathroom and closet space. It's a brand-new facility. The living space is amazing. Everything is very clean. The CNAs are wonderful. The owner is great. The director is great. They've been amazing. I recommend anybody to put their loved one there. I have lunch with my mother-in-law every Sunday, and the food looks great. They feed them an amazing variety. They have great activities. They play bingo. We bought them a karaoke machine for the activity room. At Christmas time, they bought all the residents matching pajamas and hats, and they had a snow machine and a beautiful Christmas tree. They're amazing."

"The Palms of St Lucie West is the most wonderful place for my family members. Two years ago my Aunt was moved from San Diego California to live by me and I was overwhelmed with the process of finding an assisted living facility that would provide her with a caring supportive lifestyle. I toured many facilities and finally chose The Palms. They more than exceeded my expectations and not only did they support my Aunt, but provided me with so much information and help I will always be grateful to them. My Aunt sadly passed away this last February and I immediately added my Mother's name to the waiting list1. This month she moved into their Memory Care Facility and is thriving. My mother had been in two facilities in Oregon with many problems, but now that she is at The Palms, things are going so well my brother and sisters are relieved and ecstatic. I cannot say enough about The Palms, every level of this operation is top-notch and professional in every way. I visit several times a week and the place is just buzzing with positive activities, music and fun. The staff have become our friends and the relationship we have has given me such peace of mind knowing that my Mom is being cared for and loved by these remarkable people. I am so grateful I found them!!!!! "

"It was a nice building. The outside was also nice with a very pretty landscape as you drove in. The girl who took me on a tour was very nice. What I liked the best about it was they had a lovely big clubhouse. They also had a pool. They just didn't provide all the meals and it was more expensive."

"My parents moved into A Place Like Home. It's just a small facility and they're sharing a room in the facility. It seemed like the administrative staff was very caring and interested in trying to make the transition as smooth as possible. It's just a large, single-family home that has been converted into an assisted living facility. They've got four to six rooms, I'm not sure how big it was. It was very clean when I was there. They were very caring. The staff was going to try to have an outing with my father. I had spoken to the administrator about it as well, and they were going to try to get him out. The administrator worked with me on the monthly fee and we were able to come to an amicable conclusion on that, which I felt was very fair. It's not a large facility. So what they do is they bring in folks on a staggered basis to do certain things, like from what my understanding was, there will be a doctor on-site once, once every three weeks. There will be a nurse on-site once every three weeks. They have beauty care type things, for haircuts and things like that once every couple of weeks, so they're bringing people in to do the services as opposed to having somebody on site all the time because it's not a large facility."

"The apartment at Fountains of Melbourne was nice and spacious. I have not seen a senior room this spacious before, it's a 2-bedroom. The amenities are close at hand, and it will make it easy for them to still enjoy living and participating in various activities. Everyone was very friendly and very helpful. It's just a very nice place overall. The surroundings are very beautiful and very welcoming. The people were very friendly. They were waving at my dad. I just think that they will be very comfortable and be able to make friends. I think they will actually thrive there and not be isolated. We had breakfast there, and the dining area was absolutely beautiful. They get served three meals a day, so they don't have to worry about cooking or any of that. The food was very good. They have a fitness room where they have chair exercises that both my mom and dad can participate in and stay strong. They have a card room. They have virtual bowling. They have an arts and crafts room, and they have bingo. They have several activities that my parents can get involved in and stay social. The staff that I met were extremely friendly, helpful, and timely. In terms of food, there were many choices. They weren't just saying this is what we're serving today. You actually had choices on the menu. The facilities are very clean and kept up nicely."

"The staff I dealt with at Century Oaks was very nice. They would have accommodated everything that we needed. It was clean, and they had pretty much the same things as the others. They had a salon, they would take you to places where you needed to go, and had in-house doctors. They had different sized rooms depending on how much you want to spend and the rooms were decent size."

"My aunt is currently at Senior Paradise ALF. The community is beautiful, well-kept, and very clean. It's in immaculate condition. The staff are excellent. They're both very caring and very nurturing. They take them shopping and if they need to go anywhere. The dining area is very small, it's like a private house. So, it's a very homey atmosphere that you get. The dining area is very clean and family-oriented. My aunt is a vegetarian, so they make her special food."
