We are very pleased. We feel very comfortable having my mother-in-law there. We just liked it the best and it is close to her home here. So, it was a good fit. It is a very beautiful place that overlooks the river. It's high quality and the staff provides excellent service. We had lunch there and the food was very good. I think the value for the money is very good as well.

To me, the Grand Villa of Palm Bay gave me the impression that it's a building that was built for Alzheimer's people or people who wander around and could disappear. You can look through the windows, but the windows cannot open. They don't have balconies there, too. They have two floors. On one of the floors, they have a dining room that's gloomy, too. I didn't like it over there at all. The staff was friendly. The place was clean. You don't get any odor or anything, but I didn't like the structure. I would not be comfortable in a place like that. They didn't have a walking trail, too.

I checked out both independent and assisted living at Grand Villa of Palm Bay. What we drove up there certainly was beautiful to look at. It would be a very nice home to come to, to live. It looked very upper class. It looked very clean. It is right on the water, which makes it very pristine also. The grounds and everything outside were immaculate. When I came in I met the lady at the desk. My daughter was with me. She verified our appointment. We met the young lady that was taking us on the tour, and we went to lunch first. There was nothing special prepared for us. We were given the same menu that everybody else had, which was their daily menu and also whatever the special of the day was at lunchtime. My daughter had the special, and I chose just something off of the regular menu. I was very satisfied. The food quality was excellent. The portions and everything were really appropriate. They didn't overfeed you, and they certainly didn't starve you. The staff was extremely accommodating. I enjoyed them very much.

Grand Villa of Palm Bay was excellent across the board. I liked it. It was elegant, upbeat, and a great location. It's right down the water. Everything was rather new, modern, and clean. They were constantly updating. They only had kitchenettes but they had a rather large refrigerator/freezer in the kitchenette, which was nice. The dining room was lovely. There are windows and you can see the water from there. The food was very good. They had a pool, which was something I liked. You can do independent living with assisted living amenities. So, you still can get the three meals a day, laundry, housekeeping, and all those amenities even if you're in independent living.

The staff was very nice. They were approachable and they engaged in conversation. They didn't have a gym per se. They had a few workstations throughout the facility like a couple of exercise bikes or things like that you could sit on.

I loved it. I loved that it was beautiful with such nice amenities, and gorgeous views. The apartments or rooms that I saw were very nice. They have a whole kitchen set up with a stove and a microwave. The person who gave the tour was not the normal person that does it, but she did a very nice job. She was very helpful with all of our questions. We had lunch there and it was very good. The facility was very clean, neat, and well taken care of.

It was very nice. The staff was very helpful. Everyone's pleasant and answered all my questions. It's really clean. They offer a lot of different activities, and they have hospital staff. They have people that clean your room and do your laundry. They have sample meals laid out when they show you around so you can see what everyone's eating. I didn't eat lunch, but I saw that there were a lot of visitors there eating with their families.

First off, it was the perfect location. It was right on the river, and it had a little private dock. My husband likes fishing, so that would be perfect. The staff covered all of the bases on all of our questions. Then he gave us someone very competent to take us. And then later on, when he was done with, I imagine, was a visit with someone else, he came in and filled us in with the rest. They were very accommodating. Very professional. We did not sample the food. The dining room looked wonderful. It looked lovely. There wasn't anything not to like.

It was very nice. The man who gave us the tour was very nice. The rooms were a little small, but very well maintained. The dining room faced the water, so you're almost on a cruise ship. But it was very expensive, so it was beyond our budget. The dining area was beautiful. I think they said this place is only five years old, so everything is nice. They have a movie theater and a bistro. They have a general store where if you need a snack or something, you can go get it. But they give you three meals a day. So let's say you want a snack in the afternoon, you go to the country store and pick up a snack. It was all very nice.

It is a lovely place. My mother just loves it. We didn't think she was going to adjust well, but she adjusted right away and loves it. She has beautiful views out her window of the river. They put brand-new flooring in for her and her room is clean and sparkly. She likes going down to the restaurant and she likes the activity rooms. She's walking more, which is a wonderful thing, and it's lifting her spirits and her mood. She's socializing with others her age, and it's made a huge difference in her personality. She's just shining now. They have dominoes, ice cream socials, a garden club, and an exercise class. They go out once a week for outdoor activities if they would like, like going to Walmart or they might go out for lunch. I've eaten there several times and it's good. They've been wonderful. They made it very easy and smooth for us to move.

It was very pleasant. The dining room was magnificent. They have their own chef and their custom meals. You eat dinner, lunch, breakfast, or whatever, and you can look at the water. It was a very pleasant place to be. I wouldn't mind being there. The staff I met were polite and cordial. They have a nice veterans program. Anybody that is a veteran that resides there, their picture is framed on the wall. They cater to the residents. The staff was good. The building itself was very nice. For amenities and activities, they have shopping, they have games, there's a small pool and a weight room, and they also have physical therapy.

We have chosen it for my brother. When you walk into this facility, it will knock your socks off. It was gorgeous. The facility was almost brand new. It was very clean, with nice wide hallways and an elevator. It was more affordable than where he is now. I met some of the residents and they were very nice. I took my brother over there too, and he met one resident that was a veteran like he is. They had a veteran's wall, which was nice. They had a beautiful view of the river. They had choices for meals, so it was not the same meal for everybody. They had a choice of two meals at dinner. They also have a canteen type of setup that's open all day long, if you want a hamburger or grilled cheese or a drink. They had way more activities than where he is now. They had a gym, a movie theater, and a swimming pool. Their dining room was gorgeous. They had a menu actually on the dining room table for the residents to see what they were having that day. They had two choices for a 1-bedroom with a separate bathroom. They had a kitchenette in each room with a nice-sized refrigerator. If you have someone in memory care that you would like to have a caregiver with, they have a 2-bedroom in memory care, for someone to be there with the resident all the time. The staff who gave us the tour tried to give us choices. She told us that if my brother wanted a 1-bedroom and had a good friend that would want to be there, then it would cost less for the two of them to be in the 1-bedroom she gave us. She thinks outside the box, which is a good thing. She tried to give us different ways to lower the cost, to make his money go further.

I found the people to be very friendly and very kind. The communication was very good. You could talk to them and they were considerate. They had the patience to sit there and talk to you and not rush you through interviews or anything. It's beautiful. When you sit in the dining room, you think you're on a cruise ship with the river flowing by. The food was very good. The lady showed me the different areas that they have there. The dining room, the rooms that the actual residents live in, the library, and all.

It was a nice and clean facility. However, the size of the units were too small for me. The biggest they had was a one-bedroom. I needed a one-bedroom with a den or a two-bedroom. The lowest unit they had was on the second floor, which will not work for me. They didn't have meals.

My mother is living here. We have had a very good experience with them. They take good care of my mom and have a lot of activities. They have very nice and clean rooms. The people are friendly. They have crafts where they make things, watercolor painting, gardening, movies, bingo, and Sunday services. They also have a lot of birthday parties and day trips if they're able to go. They offer three meals a day. They also have physical therapy, a theater area, game rooms, pool, and outside decks. It's a very nice place. The staff is very good, helpful, and friendly.

Many activities for the residents. The food is delicious And the menu varies...meals for visitors are inexpensive and the wait staff friendly...remember everyone’s habits. Living quarters are cleaned regularly...are roomy. Many field trips for a variety of interests.

It has great staff and beautiful scenery. It looks like a resort and is right on the river. The staff is always willing to answer questions and doing their jobs great. My mom is eating and gaining weight.
