"We toured Alura Senior Living. There were a lot of things I liked about it. It's newer. It was built in 2021. It is very fresh. I liked the wider halls, which were bright. The artwork was bright. I like the layout of the rooms, particularly the room with the balcony. It laid out well for my stepmom's needs. Something else that I like a lot is in their dining hall. They do not have assigned seats, which is good if you want to go and meet other people in the dining environment. I also like how they do their dining. They have set times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but they also have times that you can come down at any time and select from a different part of the menu so that you can eat on your schedule, not necessarily the facility's strict schedule. So, I like that flexibility. The staff was very pleasant and engaging. They liked working there. You could tell it from their demeanor and expressions, and you could tell in their eyes that they enjoyed it. So, everything with the staff was very, very good. They have a central courtyard with a pool with waterfalls with koi fish. They have some raised gardening plots for the residents to use either for flowers or vegetables, so the facility itself offers a lot. The overall atmosphere was certainly inviting. Everything was bright and cheery."

"I toured Shell Harbor Retirement. It was so luxurious and beautiful and a fantastic place. They had everything. I was very impressed. The managers live on the property. It was almost like staying at a five-star hotel. Everything was brand new. It's so expensive. The kitchen was unbelievable, but the only program there was breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which were all included. The food was fabulous. However, they should have another alternative, like an apartment with a kitchenette. The staff was amazing, and he loved his job. He was there with me the whole time. We even had lunch together. He took me on the tour and knew everything about the place. What impressed me was that wherever we moved around this beautiful facility, he knew everybody by name. If I had the money, I would move there."

"Raquel has made a lovely, light, spacious warm home for my husband. I pinch myself everyday for above and beyond compassionate and patient care he is receiving. Raquel is a true professional who always has a smile on her face . Her vast experience and gentle care have been a positive game changer in his life and mine! finally, after 3.5 years in two costly assisted living facilities, he is receiving the kind of care every elderly person deserves. He is 88.5 with Parkinson’s but no tremor and is cognitively with it. We are blessed beyond measure to have her as part of our family. Even his physician is impressed with all of the positive changes in him! This is an awesome Assisted Living Facility!"

"The Promenade was very nice and very clean, and the people were friendly. It was a nice tour, but it was overpriced for me. The place is only four or five years old. They had a salon and a little courtyard. The staff during the tour was very good, knowledgeable, and very friendly. The place was fairly new. Everything was in good shape. They got a nurse there. It seemed like they took very good care of the people that were there. I got to see other residents, not from the memory care unit, but residents who could get in and out around the grounds and stuff."

"Discovery Village had both assisted living and memory care. It was a delightful, beautiful place. The people were friendly, and the residents were very happy. They had a new director, and it looks like it's going great. I went through the memory care, and the people looked in better shape."

"We saw Buena Vida Estates. The apartments are very, very nice. There's nothing I like least. It's a rather small place. The population is small, but they still have as many activities as any other place. The staff answered all our questions. They have everything that we would be interested in. They have a gym and a pool. The upkeep was very good. No complaints at all."

"My friend is a resident of Trinity Towers East. They're very friendly at the front desk. They do lots of activities for the seniors. The building is kept very clean. The apartments are very nice and have an income base, so it's a plus. They overturned quite a bit on staff, so it's not like you get to know who the staff is because they stay for a bit and are not there. Other than that, they're still courteous. The facility is appealing to the eye. I have not attended the activities, but it looks like everyone's happy. They get a lot of value for their money. When you pay rent, utilities are included. It's Wi-Fi and TV, so they have that included. A flexible rent-to-income was the main thing that got my friend in there."

"My mom was about to move into Cristal Palace, but at the last minute, they said that she needed too much care that they won’t be able to provide. It’s pretty, clean, well kept, bright, and sunny. The people looked happy. I didn't have complaints about that. The people eat in the dining area where they watch TV. The person that toured us was a big help. I really wanted to put my mother in, but unfortunately, things didn’t work out. "

"I went here twice, and they had a beautiful room that would be nice for me. I like the view as it’s right on the water, and I have been in the water was a youngster. I believe I could fish out there; it’s a like a lagoon that runs through or a river. That should be friendly for everybody who likes the outdoors. There’s big trees -- really a beautiful place. They have a salon and bingo, and they have a beautiful cafeteria. They have a real cuisine. They have shrimp, salad, and gourmet line for lunch. The people were very nice; I met a lot of the workers, and they were very nice. The lady in charge was very helpful to my needs. "

"Indian Oaks is a nice, closely knit community where you have your own independent living, but you have neighbors close by with similar interests and lifestyle. There is a large swimming pool where they offer some exercise classes. There are also activities in their recreation center. They take care of maintaining the grounds as well as pest control too. They can also take care of some of the house repairs. I was very impressed because it seems to meet the criteria I am looking for. "

"I came from an expensive apartment in Central Florida where the grounds looked poverty ridden, the noise was loud and break ins happened. I have been living in an 2 bedroom independent apartment at Lenox for over 2 months now. I love it here. The grounds are immaculate, there is no noise and I feel very secure with a security guard on the job at night. They have an amazing maintenance staff as well as the front desk and administrative staff. Joining in on some of the activities, I have started to developed friendships with the nice people who live here. My dog enjoys a high popularity here. I'm so glad I found the Lenox. "

"Hampton Manor of Merritt Island was just down the street from us. It's not far from my home and it's brand new. The facility was just beautiful. The one-bedroom was nice. Their dining area was like a little restaurant thing. The common areas were absolutely beautiful. It's got brand-new furniture. They've got a library and everything. It's very nice and very pretty. They've got a lot of amenities. It would be a happy place for everybody."
