"We toured Alura Senior Living. There were a lot of things I liked about it. It's newer. It was built in 2021. It is very fresh. I liked the wider halls, which were bright. The artwork was bright. I like the layout of the rooms, particularly the room with the balcony. It laid out well for my stepmom's needs. Something else that I like a lot is in their dining hall. They do not have assigned seats, which is good if you want to go and meet other people in the dining environment. I also like how they do their dining. They have set times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but they also have times that you can come down at any time and select from a different part of the menu so that you can eat on your schedule, not necessarily the facility's strict schedule. So, I like that flexibility. The staff was very pleasant and engaging. They liked working there. You could tell it from their demeanor and expressions, and you could tell in their eyes that they enjoyed it. So, everything with the staff was very, very good. They have a central courtyard with a pool with waterfalls with koi fish. They have some raised gardening plots for the residents to use either for flowers or vegetables, so the facility itself offers a lot. The overall atmosphere was certainly inviting. Everything was bright and cheery."

"Raquel has made a lovely, light, spacious warm home for my husband. I pinch myself everyday for above and beyond compassionate and patient care he is receiving. Raquel is a true professional who always has a smile on her face . Her vast experience and gentle care have been a positive game changer in his life and mine! finally, after 3.5 years in two costly assisted living facilities, he is receiving the kind of care every elderly person deserves. He is 88.5 with Parkinson’s but no tremor and is cognitively with it. We are blessed beyond measure to have her as part of our family. Even his physician is impressed with all of the positive changes in him! This is an awesome Assisted Living Facility!"

"The Promenade was clean and well-appointed. They had a theater, a salon, and PT. It was very well taken care of. The only reason we didn't pick that place was that the television situation was a problem. They only had TV outlets in the living room, not in the bedroom where my mother would want to watch her television, and they didn't have any kind of extended cable package that she could purchase."

"My Mom and I had a hard time choosing a community since there are so many around the Melbourne area. After touring several communities, we picked Sonata and we're glad we did! From our first tour to move in day, everyone was so helpful and provided guidance every step of the way. Mom has the nicest caregivers and they are there to meet all of her needs. The food is fantastic and Chef Sal comes out into the dining room to talk to all the residents and you know the ladies love it! There is a wide variety of activities, events and outings and Mom is always busy. She's made many new friends and seems to have a new sense of purpose these days! "

"Buena Vida is a beautiful community that is well maintained with a warm and friendly atmosphere. I was most impressed by the spacious apartments and the wide variety of activity. The only CCRC in Brevard County. "

"I had a very good tour at Trinity Towers East and West. The place was very clean, and the apartment unit was excellent. They had central air conditioning to control the climate and heat in each unit. We only saw an efficiency apartment because that was the only one that they could show us. They don't serve food there. The staff was very nice, and all the people that we ran into were very courteous and very friendly. They had a library, a conference room, a utility room with a washer and dryer, a garbage dump room, and a central mailbox. They had a 24/7 guard down in front, plus they had call buttons in every apartment in the living room and the bathroom."

"I am a resident of Trinity Towers East. I like that the apartments are clean. It's 610 square feet. I have a one-bedroom, a living room, a tiny kitchen, a bathroom, and two huge closets. We have laundry facilities on every floor, two elevated buildings, 14 stories, and good maintenance. I have no problem. It's just that they only have a one-bedroom apartment or a studio, but now I need a three-bedroom. Everything is in here. The kitchen is very small, but it has a four-burner stove and a full-size refrigerator. I have a sink, a countertop, cabinets, and a bathtub. I pay $700 a month, including all my utilities and cable. They have bingo for a couple of nights. They have exercise classes and Bible studies. They have barbecues once in a while, like on holidays. They have various things. They keep you busy. It's always something every day of the week, and they have computer classes."

We go to Wal-Mart once a week, lunch once a week, card games, bingo, Banker, and all kinds of games. I’m in a small single room by myself, and it is adequate. "

"Indian Oaks is a nice, closely knit community where you have your own independent living, but you have neighbors close by with similar interests and lifestyle. There is a large swimming pool where they offer some exercise classes. There are also activities in their recreation center. They take care of maintaining the grounds as well as pest control too. They can also take care of some of the house repairs. I was very impressed because it seems to meet the criteria I am looking for. "

"I came from an expensive apartment in Central Florida where the grounds looked poverty ridden, the noise was loud and break ins happened. I have been living in an 2 bedroom independent apartment at Lenox for over 2 months now. I love it here. The grounds are immaculate, there is no noise and I feel very secure with a security guard on the job at night. They have an amazing maintenance staff as well as the front desk and administrative staff. Joining in on some of the activities, I have started to developed friendships with the nice people who live here. My dog enjoys a high popularity here. I'm so glad I found the Lenox. "

"Hampton Manor of Merritt Island was just down the street from us. It's not far from my home and it's brand new. The facility was just beautiful. The one-bedroom was nice. Their dining area was like a little restaurant thing. The common areas were absolutely beautiful. It's got brand-new furniture. They've got a library and everything. It's very nice and very pretty. They've got a lot of amenities. It would be a happy place for everybody."
