"We have chosen The Palms at Plantation for my parents because it's close to our house. We can just go over there more times a day. The staff members were very knowledgeable about the subject and had a lot of experience. Each person there was pulled from another facility, so they all had long-term experience. They have all kinds of activities. They have nursing staff like RNs besides LPNs. They have an activity director, too. The director has been very knowledgeable and helpful."

"HarborChase of Coral Springs is a nice place, and we have no problems at all. Dad seems to be pretty happy there, and he has no complaints. The residents seem to be pretty active there with their schedule of activities. We are very happy with this place because of the cleanliness and the staff. "

"I like the rooms at Victoria Villa Assisted Living. The rooms were neat, clean, and tidy. I like the way it was situated. The grounds have nice places to walk, and there is a big pond, and that was nice to have there. The administrator was nice and helpful. She gave me a lot of tips and hints. The lady who owns the place seemed to be on the ball, too. She was amongst the staff and amongst the patients monitoring everything and making sure everything was going smoothly and right."

"My mom has lived at Oakmonte Village since November 2019. I cannot say enough OUTSTANDING things about the care she is receiving!!!! The staff from the aides to the wellness center to the dining room to the reception area are superior! I thank Silve and Kevin for all their help and kindness with the transition of moving my mother into their facility! They were Guardian Angels!!!!!"

"Just from first impressions, the place is kept clean and provides a welcoming atmosphere. The security guard at the gate was very informative and courteous. He allowed me in to talk to the seniors inside about Toys for TOTS, a non-profit organization that collects toys for the holidays to give out to low-income families and their children. The elderly were very sweet and had brought some donations. Everyone seems very pleasant and happy living here. No concerns were expressed. I asked an elderly woman about her home here at The Palace and she expressed how grateful she was that Publix was a short walking distance. She said she couldn't drive due to poor vision, but she also wanted to maintain her independence. This Palace was a right fit for this sweet woman. She could get her shopping done while living in an environment with others just like her.Another gentleman approached me and said he wanted to leave his previous living facility. His previous nursing home was filled with nurses that he described as 'rude and unapologetic.' However, at the Palace, he recovered from his medical conditions and was able to live in with his wife while having weekend visits with his grandchildren. He mentioned that at the nursing home, he feared his grandchildren could catch a communicable disease.Overall, The Palace at Weston Senior Living is a wonderful place to reside. With all the gardening always being maintained and with such new facilities, one couldn't find a nicer place to live at. Friendly staff and residents equals a happy retirement. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to move in with sweet senior residents. "

"Belmont Village Fort Lauderdale was five miles from our house. It's all a beautiful location. The food was great. There was nothing we didn't like about it. The floor plans were also great. The building amenities were good with the gym and the pool and they overlooked the coast. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. We have all kinds of brochures that the woman gave us. She was excellent. Cleanliness was fine. It was beautiful. It was the nicest place we've seen out here. There's no question about it."

"We went and visited The Meridian at Waterways. We like that one. We toured the whole facility. The views of the waterway were very nice. The facilities seemed very nice. The staff seemed friendly. It seemed clean, well-kept, and fairly modern. It was mostly good. They have a beauty salon, a nice little bar, a beautiful piano bar that we liked, and a lovely common area. The hallways around the memory were not nice as the rest of the facility. It was a little shoddy, and the carpet seemed a little worn. In the memory care room that we were shown, the blinds were askew and looked to be broken. It just didn't seem quite as nice as the assisted living room."

"I toured Providence Living at Pembroke Pines. It was very welcoming. The grass is well maintained. It's a homey-type layout. You feel like you're coming home. The staff was very, very helpful. She put you at ease and answered all the questions. They're trying to finish doing whatever to make it more homey. The dining area was set up like a family setting, and they had provisions for people in wheelchairs."

"I went to visit. It's a higher class. Very nice pool. Lots of activities as well. They were able to show me the activities, and how they take the residents to the stores. They have movies, card games, and different things to keep the population engaged. They showed me two different apartments and two different styles. I like them. Both were very nice. They came with a small kitchen. I got a good feeling when I visited the residences. The place is good. The staff was good. It was a beautiful establishment."

"We toured The Meridian at Boca Raton. The monthly rates were very high. The residents there were all dressed in their Sunday best. It just seemed that my parents wouldn't fit in there. My parents are much more casual. The staff was very accommodating though. There's a movie theater, a cooking demonstration room, and a hair salon."

"We put my mother here. She's doing very well and loves it. The staff is very knowledgeable. The dining room is very nice. There's a coffee shop there. The facility is very clean and well kept. She's happy about it. It has a very nice courtyard."

"I toured The Peninsula Assisted Living & Memory Care. The one area that is concerning was that it was not as well-maintained or well-kept up as the other facility. It was a newer building, but the maintenance was not up to date. Also, the rooms themselves were much smaller and felt more cramped than the other places. The staff was super friendly, very caring, and very understanding."
