"We toured Park Summit. The great thing is that I didn't even make an appointment. I went there. There was somebody available. They took us around, explained all the different things that the community has to offer, such as the gym, physical therapies, the dining, the menus, the activities, the housekeeping service weekly, the different alternatives as far as their one-bedroom apartment and two-bedrooms studios. They asked a lot of questions about my father-in-law just to make sure that he was able to live independently. The best part is that they said he could come here for three days and test drive the place. He did, and that is what really sealed the deal. They have breakfast and lunch or breakfast and dinner, so that was really good. He's moving any time soon. The place is ready. We were concerned because it is a pretty big place, and when they get older maybe it gets confusing to get to the dining room area. I mean, they had somebody who came and picked him up and took him there, and so that was good, but at some point he has to do it on his own. So they said, we have another place that is pretty close. It is easier for him to get to his gym, which is like steps away from his needs, because he loves going to the gym. They were very accommodating. The place is nice. It's neat and he got to an apartment. They had new bathrooms, a new kitchen, and fresh paint, so that was also very nice. It was a blessing. It was really good. I saw the menus. I asked my father-in-law, he said it was good."

"It was a nice place. I liked that they have beach access right across. In the back was an Intracoastal and there's a swimming pool. It's a nice area. I liked it there. The lady who gave the tour was very good. What's good in that place also is that you rent, you don't buy an apartment."

"My father was a memory care resident for 2.5 years. We couldnt have asked for better care and a better staff. Truly the best in Florida. Keith truly cares and is the nicest guy in the world. Every staff member treated my father with dignity. Even during covid when I couldnt see my father in person I didnt have a worry in the world knowing he was in good hands. If you want the best in South Florida i would highly recommend them"

"The thing that first impressed me about this facility is that it is small enough that the owners and staff know everyone by name, and also is able to know their entire history (and therefore can respond immediately if a person has a change in condition or needs medical attention!), as opposed to other places which might be bigger and more expensive, but a person is just a number and can get lost in the crowd. The other great thing I found about this facility is that one of the owners (Renee) is a nurse, and opposed to other facilities which might have a home health nurse who comes in once a day to check only on the residents who are on her caseload, Renee is there every day and can attend to each patient at the facility. Having a licensed nurse on staff is such a plus! Equally impressive is that most meals are prepared from scratch and that the cleanliness of the facility is a top priority. Never once have I walked in and been accosted by an odor. Cleaning seems to take place 24/7, which is amazing, and the staff to resident ratio is much better than at many other facilities. "

"The apartment they showed us at Vi at Aventura was just beautiful. It looked out over a golf course, and the view was just so sensational. The people that gave us the tour were so helpful, but we didn't like being in a building, and everytime the elevator would come down, you'd have to wait to get it because it might be filled with walkers and wheelchairs. I don't have that kind of patience, and I don't walk that well either. I was a little uncomfortable when they showed me the gym. It was open, and there was one woman in there working out by herself without an attendant. Somebody should have been there; it was too dangerous. The other thing I didn't like about it is everything had to be valeted, and when we wanted to leave, we went 2 miles to get to the highway which took us 20 minutes driving, and we're not used to it. "

"We did a comparison between here and another facility and this was 10 times better. We got a lot of wonderful info for this facility. At this point, were we to become disabled or whatever, we would go to here. Their environment, rooms, working staff, and food were good. They have activities there too. They have a fitness center which I like. They also have happy hour, entertainment, trips and stuff like that. I found their activities very attractive. What I like best during my visit there was their willingness on their part to impart information and cost information through different stages of assisted living."

"The quality of the residents and the facility itself are the aspects that appealed to me most. It is a very nice facility. I would recommend them for independent living but not for assisted living."

"Stratford Court of Boca Pointe is a very nice community, but the big objection is the main hub of activity is where you enter, and everything spikes out from there with these big long corridors, so it's a very long walk from the elevator to get there. To go down to breakfast, dinner, activities, or to exit the place would be a chore for me since I have difficulty walking. It was also pricier than other facilities. I liked the activities they presented and the whole general demeanor of the place was very lovely. The staff was excellent and the programs they offered were superior to most places. The apartments were also very nice. I was very impressed with it."

"So far, it has been great. My mother has a nice apartment, and she met a lot of people there. She keeps active all day, and they watch her around the clock. She says the food is average. The rooms are excellent. I looked at about 7 different places; this is the best. Very clean, very roomy. I knew she’d like it."

"My mom was at the independent living facility here and then she moved to their assisted living. The facility is very nice. It's excellent. They have lots of activities. They served three meals a day. You have your apartment and if you're in the assisted living, they have nurses that come every couple of hours to check on the patients. It's very nice. They have arts and crafts, bingo, cards, and musical during the day. There are a lot of activities and everybody was very friendly. "

"I visited and it looked nice. The apartments were very nice. The room was beautiful, it was well decorated, it had a brand-new kitchen, new floors, and the bathroom was all new. It was really nice. I didn't see much of the staff, it was just a woman who took us around. They had a pool, they had a gym, and they said that they played cards there, but I didn't see that because of the COVID. It's near shopping, the food store and it's near my doctors, because I live in Delray and it would be very convenient. I'd be able to keep with my doctors, but they didn't have any storage for other things, like for suitcases and all that."

"We were looking for a facility for my father, and we went for a visit at The Palace at Coral Gables. The facility is wonderful and very clean. The staff are very nice and very friendly. I like the way they treat their clients. "

"I like everything about The Contemporary. They have a very good place. The apartments are wonderful. I love them because it is a nice place. The manager is a wonderful person. He's very knowledgeable. Everyone was wonderful and friendly. I was shown the menu, and it looked very nice. The building is very modern. It only has two stories. It's not a big building but I like it. The atmosphere was very nice. Everybody was nice. Everybody looked happy. The room's layout was perfect."
