"I visited Vi at Bentley Village. It was absolutely gorgeous. They made me feel absolutely at home. One thing I didn't like, however, was that I had to come back for them to make an apartment available for me to see it. It was a big campus. It would be more for a person that was retiring. Their menus looked lovely. They had all sorts of activities. They even had a golf course. But it was too big and too expensive for me. "

"My wife is pretty sure she's going to stay at Barrington Terrace of Naples. I liked the people that I met there very much. The person who showed us through was very pleasant and explained things quite well. Everything was sort of centrally located where my wife wouldn't have to go very far from wherever her room would be to the main eating place and all that. We saw one of the rooms in the center, one of the smaller rooms. They stated that they had laundry services. Somebody makes the bed for my wife and various things like that. Plus, they have a nurse on staff 24-7. The staff was extremely friendly, personable, and seemed to be pretty knowledgeable about all the questions I had anyhow. They sent home like a cheesecake thing that the pastry chef pages a sample. We were there right at lunchtime, and everything looked extremely good and smelled excellent. They have a patio and outside walkway that they use to take a walk every morning. My wife was pleased with the place and didn't even want to go see the others."

"My wife and I are at a stage where we're slowing down, so I'm trying to get information on retirement homes. I toured Lely Palms and I looked at a one bedroom condo with a kitchen and two baths. They were fairly nice. The staff were very courteous. The young lady invited me back with my wife to stay for lunch so that we could sample their restaurant. She showed me all of the facilities and she gave me a nice explanation on what they provide and what they didn't provide. She was very helpful. "

"I toured The Gallery at Hacienda Lakes. It's lovely and wonderful, but unfortunately, I couldn't even afford it. It's beautiful. It's like being in Las Vegas. They have a kitchenette with just a microwave. That was one bad feature. They have a pool, a sauna, and a courtyard where you can sit. They have a lot of amenities, but it starts at $10,000, and that's for one, and then you add so much for another person. Two meals are included. Amber was wonderful. She came to the house with all kinds of information, and then we met her. The next day, we went over to look at the property. She was phenomenal. The food was like eating in a New York restaurant. It's phenomenal."

"American House Bonita Springs Senior Living has a pool with rails so you can walk right into it. They also offer two meals, a hot meal during the day and another one during the night. The staff is very friendly. The place is fairly new so everything is perfect. The thing that impressed me the most are the people there. They're very upbeat and happy, which means a lot."

"Good caring people who truly want to help. I love the level and amount of activities they provide their residents with the goal of not staying in your room. The aging in place concept is nice so you are able to bring in additional care as your needs change. A great and convenient location as well. I Highly recommend it."

"We found American House for my father. We're very happy with them. It's the best out of all the choices we had. My mother is very happy with them. They actually gave us what was meant for two residents using the same bathroom kind of a thing. They let him have both of those rooms for himself. One of the bedrooms is set up for his bed and dresser, and the other is set up like a small bedroom/living room thing. He got a TV set up and couch there. It's really nice. The staff is very caring. They have quite an establishment there for caregiving. We're very pleased. It is quite an undertaking for any kind of facility to take care of all their needs, but they're very good with my father. He has been there now for a little while and he is settling in. I know it takes time, but it is working out, and it is becoming more of a home for him. It's just tough to watch him because he is losing his memory. It's a good, caring place for him. Right now, there was somebody that actually got COVID on the second floor, so the place was kinda in a lockdown, which is understandable. We can make an appointment to see my father. We have been doing that. He has been OK. Even prior to that, because the virus is still around and the numbers are high, they don't have a lot of activities. Normally they would have people come in and they would have a little band and activities. They're being very protective for their residents, so there's not a lot of going on right now. American House is a very large building. They've got a couple of courtyard, a pool table, and a puzzle room, and a library. They got the residents scheduled for physical therapy. It's really nice. We're happy. I'm very pleased with them. Most of the staff are very good. Every once in a while you get somebody that doesn't seem like they're all into what they're doing, but for the most part I'm very pleased with their staff. It's a lot of money no matter where you go, but they're right in there where everyone else is. I don't like how much it is, but for what they're getting, it's a good price."

"I went to The Summit of Fort Myers. It was very nice, they were very nice, and I liked the director that I talked to. They had a long waiting list. I believe they had a year minimum that you could be there, and I don't want to get tied into that long of a contract. Everybody was super, super nice, and it couldn't be nicer. The amenities were very nice, spacious, and well-kept up. I went to an apartment where a lady was living because they didn't have any that were vacant, and it looked very nice. No problems. I did talk to a couple of residents, and they talked like they had a good time at the happy hour. They're dog friendly. The menu looked pretty good. They had a choice every night. So, they don't have to eat the same thing everybody else has, they get a variety of different meals to pick from."

"I moved in here in June. It feels nice and open, it's got a great pool, the apartments have great sun coming in and feels nice. The food is good, you have a lot of choices, and they give you a little menu, so it's nice. They have chair exercises in the morning, there's a library, a church, and they take you to doctors' appointments, and scheduled trips."

"I toured Siena Lakes. The apartments were absolutely beautiful, large, very, very nice. But it is brand new. I think it's a year old. It appears to me that they have a lot of amenities. They have lectures and a lot of different groups meeting. It appears that there's a lot going on there. I think they actually have about three different dining areas, all of them very nice. I don't see any negatives there. I think it's an absolutely beautiful facility. It's very expensive, you do have a couple of options, but you're actually buying your place basically."

"My visit at The Carlisle Naples was phenomenal. We came close to purchasing. They had activities; you name it, they had it. They served breakfast and one other meal and had a beauty salon and pool. They came in once a week to change your bed and provide you linens. The woman who met with us was wonderful, sat with us through our meal, and was very attentive to our needs. "

"Moorings Park is wonderful. I have visited a friend there many times. They showed us around and bought us dinner, and it was very nice. The food is excellent. The dining area is wonderful with flowers and everything nice. They have a lot like theater, lectures, movies, and swimming. As for the rooms, they are all different. They have one-bedrooms, two-bedrooms, and four-bedrooms. They have a whole selection, and they are very homey. You furnish it with your own furniture. The security is excellent because it is a gated community. Everybody is friendly, nicely dressed, and it is just a nice place. "

"We toured Moorings Park At Grey Oaks. They provided outstanding amenities, and healthcare options were also over the top. They had access to an incredible golf community. All of the amenities at the golf course were included. They had concierge doctors. It had everything, and the monthly price included all the care. It's expensive, but you don't have to worry anymore. You knew what the cost would be no matter where you ended up. It looked like you were entering a resort, and it was great."
