I am/was a resident of this facility

My mother is doing much better now that I have moved her into a better facility. After numerous complaints, medication not being distributed properly and on time, no adequate check ups with her condition, very little engagement or even encouragement from the nurses and aides. Several times I would have to go in the middle of the night to help my mother off the floor because nurses were either not around or sleeping. On 2 occasions we had emergencies, and we couldn't locate the nurses or updated forms we needed to take with us to the hospital. I was in constant communication with the director about these issues and nothing changed and never courtesy follow up, only when advocated for that being my mother has a declining condition and that needs weekly monitoring. I was very unhappy with my mother's care and expressed it over and over to staff and their executives in hopes to find resolutions, finally, I decided it was time to move my mom. She is doing so much better! The new place has face to face doctor meetings every week. My mother actually knows who her doctor is, not just a phone call. She gets engagement from the staff. They take her out of her room, bring her ice cream on sundays and just have been over all more attentive and the medication has been consistent so we havent had any issues. The nurses respond to her call button in a timely manner and we are saving a ton of money. We are still owed over $6000 due to continuing being charged after we moved out. I did give proper notice and was told we would be refunded but here we are in December and we still haven't received it. I feel this place needs new management and a review of their staff to make sure they have proper training and effective monitoring of for residents.

Some of the nurses and aides were beyond wonderful; however, there were some aides that yelled at and frightened my 90 year old mother when her colostomy bag less as leaked. She requested assistance and no one came to see her for 6 hours. The social worker actually slammed the door in my face while I was trying to get my mother discharged. If you needed help, if you asked in person, they’d tell you to go back and push the assistance button. Horrible experience.

I have found a place for my sister in Naples, and it's called AdviniaCare Naples. We chose it for the location, the overall condition, and its look. Everything was very neat, clean, and fresh, and the sales representative was very, very helpful in helping me figure things out for my sister. I didn't try the food, but I'll be making another visit. I did look at the menu, the dining room had white tablecloths and it looked very nice, but I haven't tried the food yet. They have physical therapy. They have a whole list of activities for the month, and they gave me a calendar of all the different activities that are planned for the month. Some include exercise and some include arts and crafts. There are just lots of different things that I think my sister would be interested in. Even the smallest room was very well done. The paint looked new, the baseboards were fresh, there were no scrape marks on the walls, which I've seen in a lot of places, and it was spacious for one person. It had a refrigerator and microwave plus a sink, which many of them do not have. It also had a nice big window with lots of light.

AdviniaCare Naples was very nice. The staff seemed very nice, but it's an assisted living. It's harder because the rooms were smaller, they can't cook, and they have one little closet. When you go into those places, you're pretty much giving up most of your possessions and it's kind of tough to imagine. It's a nice place and it seemed like they were taking care of people. The staff was very nice, very accommodating, and very helpful. I was only there for like an hour and a half, but I was very impressed overall with their actions and all. The dining room was very nice. I saw them involved with activities as much as they could be. There are medical staff on site and physical therapists onsite, and they all seemed to be very engaged. It's a central location in Naples, and it's easy to get to. There's shopping and banking there. If you want to take your loved one or whoever was there or conduct their business, everything is right there. It's very convenient.

I had an in-person tour of The Residences of Advinia Care at Naples. It has skilled nursing and assisted living combined. The staff member who gave me the tour was excellent, friendly, outgoing, very excited about the property, and helpful. The rooms were nice, clean, and bright. They're in the process of renovating, so a lot of stuff has been upgraded. It was nice. They have a lot of outings, cookouts, movie nights, bingo, happy hour, and music. The people I talked to seemed pretty happy or content. The atmosphere was excellent, warm, and friendly. The staff members seemed very concerned about the residents.

I visited and I saw Pam and spent a couple of hours there seeing what they had and what they didn't have, and how they handle the people and the activities that they have. They were tied up yesterday because they were getting vaccination shots and they were all excited and happy about that. The staff members were very good and professional. I liked that you could visit every day, but for now I only get to visit once a week because they have to bring the people outside, and you can't go inside the facility. That is very cumbersome. The facility looked good and decent. The rooms looked decent and proficient. It seems like it is a very congenial group, and the staff is very professional, and so I think it is going to be an excellent choice for my wife.

My friend chose here. They were great. They were very welcoming and very attentive. They sat with her and asked her a bunch of questions and they made her feel welcome. She really liked the girls there, especially Christie. She's really fond of her. Everything looked really clean and really nice.

It was very nice. It was in a wooded area and had vegetation around the building. The person that interviewed me was very thorough and very knowledgeable. I saw residents in the living area and on the porches. The dining room was adequate and very nice. I was impressed with the place.

I visited this facility

It was a big building. It was an area where you could shop, so people could go out and walk around. There were restaurants and a center area where they could have their meals, which was very nice. The rooms were big. When we walked in, we were greeted and they were very nice. The people who showed me around and gave me a review on everything were very knowledgeable and helped me out quite a bit.

I visited this facility

It was very good for assisted living and skilled nursing but didn’t offer independent living, so I did not want to consider it. I thought it was a very nice place after touring it, but it seemed to be on a different level what than I was looking for, so I was not interested. They were very welcoming and very thorough, and the marketing person that I talked to had been a social worker, so she was very considerate.

I like the staff very much. They take care of my mom and they keep her active. Her room is very nice. The food tastes average and the surrounding is clean and pleasant. I recommend it to others.
