"I looked at American House, and went there once or twice. The place was brand new, but it was a little more costly. The rooms were bigger. The dining area was nice, it was like a big banquet hall. There have activities. "

"I visited and I saw Pam and spent a couple of hours there seeing what they had and what they didn't have, and how they handle the people and the activities that they have. They were tied up yesterday because they were getting vaccination shots and they were all excited and happy about that. The staff members were very good and professional. I liked that you could visit every day, but for now I only get to visit once a week because they have to bring the people outside, and you can't go inside the facility. That is very cumbersome. The facility looked good and decent. The rooms looked decent and proficient. It seems like it is a very congenial group, and the staff is very professional, and so I think it is going to be an excellent choice for my wife."

"We toured here, and everything was beautiful. There were quite a few activities. It is different than the assisted. They have pool tables, a swimming pool, a fitness room, and a dining area. The apartment was beautiful, very clean, brand new, a nice size, very updated, and modern. The dining area was very clean, nice, and modern. The staff was very helpful and gave a great tour."

"I want your new waitress Renata she deserves recognition. In addition to always getting our order correct, she comes back several times to ask how the food was and if there is anything else that we need. When we are finished, she will ask if we want desert. She is so pleasant and always has a smile. I felt like I was at a restaurant on fifth avenue."

"I toured The Collier at Naples. One thing I did like about this place is most of them just have what they call a suite. So, you open the door and there's a bed, a chair, a desk, and the bathroom, and that's claustrophobic for me and I know it will be for her. I met one person who was very nice and very helpful, and took me on the tour, explained everything to me, and gave me some information to bring home. The structure of the building seemed fine. I like Collier because they are like a small apartment. My mother would have not only a living room, but she would also have a kitchen. They don't have a stove in there for memory care, but she has a refrigerator and cabinets. When I stepped into this facility, I felt comfortable."

"I went to this facility a few months ago to visit my father, who is diabetic and had to move into an Assisted Living Facility to help regulate his insulin levels.Honestly I was impressed, and it takes a lot to impress me, before you even walk through the door, the facility looks, and feels upscale. The landscaping is fresh, and the palm trees definitely remind you, that you are in sunny Florida. They even have various plans for those who want an Independant Living apartment, and only need a little bit of help, like my Dad. He had a kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, living room, etc, all to himself. It felt more like an upscale apartment complex than a retirement home. There was a fitness center, dining room ( the food is actually really good!) Check it out, the staff is really friendly and knows most residents by name! "

"We pretty much decided on the Palms of Fort Myers. We’ve been there twice. We liked the layout of the living facilities, the dining facilities, the staff, and the amenities there. They were very helpful, very friendly, and courteous. They have an exercise room, a card room, a pool, a room for meetings, and a chapel. The food was very well prepared, ample, and had nice choices."

"Sandpiper Run was very clean, fresh smelling, well kept, and very well organized. When I arrived, they were having sort of a tenant meeting in the lobby, which is a good sign because people get to voice their ideas and opinions. There was an outside patio, a lanai, a swimming pool, a game room, a library, and computer access. The apartments have grab bars in the bathroom, smoke alarms, emergency alarms, and carbon monoxide detectors. They were nicely decorated and themed. I do not have any criticisms or problems with it."

"I’ve bought a home here in Jamaica Bay and I'm very well satisfied with it. These are homes not a building. I have two bedrooms but there so many here with three and four bedrooms. It’s very good and it works fine for me. I like it very well I’ve had no problem. I would recommend it for certain people. I’m very independent but I can’t drive a car so I’ve got to go off cart and I can go to Wal-Mart to do my shopping and things. It’s close so it’s very convenient for me. There are restaurants around here like McDonald’s and Burger King; and the hospital is not over five miles. They just have about everything here. They’ve got all kinds of clubs here for boating, golf, chess, poker; you name it they’ve got a club for it. "

"St. John XXIII Villas was very clean, and very well organized. They have a lot of amenities. They have a community room, a swimming pool, a game room, a dining room, a library, and a computer room. The people in the office and the staff were very courteous, very professional, very congenial, very helpful, and very thorough. There weren't any bad attributes. I was very impressed with how the place was kept and how organized it was. The apartments were very well suited for seniors. There were grab bars in the bathroom, alarms around the apartment, smoke detectors, and carbon monoxide detectors. It was also just walking distance of a Catholic Church. Parking was easy and accessible. You didn't have to walk far to get to the main entrance."

"I liked Fort Myers Independent Living. I thought it was pleasant and clean. The staff seemed to be nice and helpful. The apartments were adequate and would have met my needs. Their dining area also looked nice."

"I was first introduced to Cypress Cove last December when I was asked to sing at their church's Christmas service. Since then I have been working with them quite a bit! Cypress Cove is both a Retirement home/community and an assisted living facility. The work I do there has me working very closely with both the staff and the residents. The staff are wonderful! They are incredibly helpful and you can tell how much they care about their residents. They have frequent programs to keep their residents having fun (like bingo and board game nights) as well as the programs that I do (singing short programs of opera). I've only been in two of their many buildings (one of the assisted living buildings and their big hall) but they are both very nice and, from what I can tell by the cheerful attitudes of the other residents, they all love the facility. "
