"It is nice but I don't think it's a great fit for my mother. The people were very nice and I liked the place. The person who gave the tour was also very nice and the rooms were nice. It's older, but it looked like it was clean and there's nothing wrong with it. The pool was small and it didn't look like it would be accessible for my mother. It wasn't a walk-in pool, so that wouldn't have been good for her with her limitations."

"We had a wonderful tour of The Goldton at Venice. The lady who assisted me did such a beautiful job. She didn't put any pressure on us. She had all the answers to the questions we had. It was just delightful. The place was well done. The whole thing was very professional and she did a terrific job. You couldn't ask for a nicer person to take you around or a prettier place because they did a beautiful job with the decorating. They do have a policy where if you have a relative staying, they have a room available to rent. The model room was beautifully decorated. They would provide everything but the washer/dryer. The thing I was most impressed with was the contemporary decor throughout the building and also the very nice wide hallways. And the extra-height ceilings made it feel like it was spacious. That was my dominant feeling of the entire place. It was a nice deal because they have three restaurants in that building and you can eat at any of them. I think the only thing I might think about is that you're only getting two meals. You have to take breakfast and then you get to choose between lunch and dinner. What I did like about it is she said that for hurricanes, they have a generator that generates for the whole building. "

"Seaside Springs Retirement Community is satisfactory. What I like the most about this place is the camaraderie. My apartment is quite pleasant. I have my own patio. The food they serve is ample. The dining area is also very pleasant. The activities are just enough to keep you busy every day, all week. You can go to the swimming pool or out to the walking area. They just take care all of our needs."

"I visited and I liked it very much. The staff was excellent. The apartments were very, very nice, I liked them. They have an exercise room, they have outdoor area, and they have a nice patio sitting area. I liked everything about it. The one staff member that I had was wonderful. The security was very good. The facility was very clean. I saw both one-bedroom and two-bedrooms. The size of the rooms was excellent."

"We moved into Highpoint at Cape Coral, and we love it here. I highly recommend this place, but we had to wait to get in because they don't have many openings. It is a great place. It's a little pricey, but they include a stove, a microwave, a dishwasher, a refrigerator with an ice maker, cable television, and WiFi. We have air conditioning, and all the utilities are included. I have a 1-bedroom apartment and a screened-in patio off of my bedroom. I have a drive-in shower where you can go right in if you're in a wheelchair. They have somebody come in every week to clean. You put your garbage outside the room and they collect it three days a week. The place is extremely clean all over. There's always someone running a sweeper or cleaning up or wiping. They had someone in the elevator the other day, cleaning up the prints in the elevator. They bring in entertainment. Two days ago, they had a doo-wop band, a man and a woman singing. Last night, they had a woman dressed in vintage clothes and told about different characters in history. They have a swimming pool and they have exercise classes there. They have a yoga room, they have all kinds of equipment where you can work out. They have a little putt-putt course. They have a card room, a library with all kinds of books, a pool table, and yoga. They also take you to doctor appointments. The people are extremely friendly, nice, and outgoing. The staff goes out of their way to be helpful. I came back from Walmart and they have a metal cart and they help you bring your things up to your room. I had several packages delivered that were heavy, and one of the staff who's a bus driver brought them up to my room. You get a key to your room and a key to your mailbox. They give you a security bracelet that opens the doors when you come in and out, so nobody can just walk in off the street. The food here is positively delicious, and a good variety, too. We have breakfast every day and a choice of lunch or dinner. And then we have snacks at night. It's a five-star place, literally. It is expensive, but it's worth the money. If you go home and you pay for your gas, electricity, water sewer, cable TV, Wi-Fi, plus buy all your food, do all your own cooking, and pay for your lot rent or your mortgage, it pretty much evens out. "

"My mother moved to Calusa Harbour about 2 months ago. She lived with me and my family for about 15 years. She was initially nervous but now she is happy, has friends and is busy all the time. I can hear it in her voice when she calls how happy she as she tells me what she had done for the day or what she will be doing the next day. Calusa Harbour is beautiful and clean. The staff there are all very helpful, friendly and always have a smile of their face. The food at Calusa Harbour is very good!! Calusa Harbour offers so much for the residents to keep them busy and entertained as well security they provide. I highly recommend Calusa Harbour!!! "

"River Commons is good. The people there are very helpful. The facility itself is really well kept and very nice. There seems to be quite a few activities. My dad doesn’t really get active in most of them, but there seems to be a lot of options as far as trips. They have movie nights and have different groups for men and women. My dad eats in their dining area every day because they have three meals a day. He eats there and likes it. My dad has been in River Commons for 2 1/2 months now. "

"We are in Oak Forrest for 12 years now. It is not a care facility, but everything is excellent. It has a walking path, a swimming pool, basketball courts, and a clubhouse, etc. We have a two-bedroom, two-bath condo unit which is very nice and affordable. They have many activities. They have bingo, Christmas parties, and cook outs. "

"Everybody in The Village was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were set up nicely. They had basically the same activities like where my grandmother is. "

"We chose Northport Pines Retirement Center for mom because it was clean and the people are nice. The manager was really nice and caring person. Mom has an apartment wherein it has a room with a little kitchenette, a bathroom, and a walk-in closets. The staff are all very nice, they are very caring with everybody, and they would go out of their way to help anybody. I did eat there and the food was very good. They have a wonderful selection of food and they do a very nice job on it. They also have different activities there like exercise classes five days a week. They have card playing and my mom likes to do that. This is a nice place for people to retire. "

"What a great facility the Gardens of North Port is the staff are very friendly and always go above and beyond. My mother has lived there for about 2 months now and she is so happy. We are so pleased we choose The Gardens of North Port also the Denise the administrator is always so helpful and knows all the residents. "

"I will be moving into Willow Creek Apartments. They're not luxury apartments, but they're affordable and decent. They have two nice, good-sized bedrooms, and two bathrooms. So if my children visit, they'll have a bedroom and bathroom to use. It's not that big of an apartment, but it's basic and decent. They have a stove and a refrigerator. They don't have a microwave. They have a dishwasher too. The staff was great. They have a pool. They do allow pets."

"My wife and I have moved into Grand Living at Wellen Park. It is independent living and extremely good. We chose it because it has a very low basic down payment. It is renting and not buying. Our accommodation is also very good. The salespeople and all the people who moved us here were good. The people who live here are very nice. All of them said hi, and we made good friends. They have about everything you can ask for, from exercise and physical therapy to a nurse on the staff. They have weekly evening gatherings, movies, and music. They have all kinds of activities like going out somewhere, at least once a week, if not twice. The food is also outstanding, and they have breakfast, lunch, and dinner."

"Towers of Venice was new. It was beautiful. I had lunch there and the people were nice. I talked to one resident and he was quite happy there. So, he'd been there for two years. They had fantastic facilities and I was very impressed with them. They were also cheaper than where I live now. They have a fantastic exercise room with multiple types of exercise equipment, and I was impressed with that. I don't have that here in my place, and that's one thing that I really miss. There was just one staff member that I met, and that was a lady that invited us to have lunch. She's very nice and very helpful. That's what her job is. So, you would not expect anything less. She knew her business and that's why it was an easy visit. The food that I had there was adequate I can't say anything bad about it. It was good, but I wouldn't say it was fantastic by any means. The lady covered everything. She showed me the room that I was looking for, a studio type room and so far, I'm impressed with the place. It was very clean."
