Mom is at The Goldton At Venice. The facility is new so the apartments are beautiful, and they came with everything, a stove, a microwave, a dishwasher, and a refrigerator. The food is sometimes good, sometimes not, but the quality of it is good. They have a movie night, an art corner, a game room, and a library. So, they have plenty of activities there.

I looked at the independent living of The Goldton at Venice and had a very pleasant conversation with the marketing person. I got a thorough look at the facility, and what they offered. I also learned about the cost. They have smaller rooms. They have 2 meals a day, as part of their package. It's brand new and in the middle of a highly developed area. The person who gave the tour was great. I saw their dining area and I would say it was adequate, it wasn't exceptional. The upkeep and maintenance seemed very good.

The Goldton at Venice was beautiful. The tour was wonderful. The girl who brought us around did a great job. We loved it for us, but not for Dad. The dining area was beautiful. Everything in the place was beautiful.

My sister-in-law moved into The Goldton at Venice. The facility is brand new, beautiful, and clean. Everyone is gracious and kind. So far, we love the place. My sister-in-law is in a one-bedroom apartment. She was able to bring a lot of her own furnishings, so she's surrounded by things she's familiar with. They have a huge saltwater pool, a bar, a very large game room for cards, a salon, and just about everything you'd find similar at a resort. We chose it partially for the location. It's very convenient to the interstate.

My father-in-law moved into the Goldton at Venice. This place is fantastic, and he loves it. It is hurricane proof. There's a concierge when you go in where there's always someone at the desk 24-hours a day. You can't just go in there to see the guest unless they call to make sure that that guest knows who you are. So, it's very safe. The independent people all have a life alert that they have to wear just in case something would happen. It has three restaurants, and that's where they get their meals. They actually have a gourmet chef, and I've eaten there two or three times, and every time it's wonderful. It's probably better than some restaurants I've been to here in Venice. I love the fact that it was separated. So, you have all the independent living people and they have their own restaurant, and then all the assisted living people have their own restaurant. He has his own apartment with a bath. The kitchen is a little bit separate from the living room, but it's all one big room. It has lots of cabinets. It has a full refrigerator, a full dishwasher, and a full four-burner stove. The price includes everything, except you have to bring your own washer and dryer and your own furniture. They have a hair salon, a library, a workout room, a pool, and all kinds of wonderful things. The staff has been wonderful, caring, kind, and informative. Of all the other places we looked at, this was probably the best value for the money.

The Goldton at Venice was brand new. It's in the middle of what's going to be a construction site for a lot of years, but it looked like a cruise ship. It's very nice. There's a shopping center going in across the street that at this point is a vacant field, all ploughed up and ready to go. The facility itself owns a huge field next door where there's an expanding sign on it. It too will be under construction and that's annoying. It's also too far away. They were lovely people and it's a lovely place, but if it were in Englewood, it would be great. It was elegant and very nice. It had probably everything anybody would need and it's huge. Everything was huge in it. The hallways were probably 50 feet wide. Everybody there looked very happy. It's out in the country. The staff during the tour was lovely. Everything about it was lovely. It's fairly expensive, but they all are. I just don't want to live that far away and I don't want a construction site for the rest of my life. We saw an empty apartment, and it was luxurious. It was two little rooms put together and it was more than adequate. Everything about it was very nice. It didn't seem like an assisted living place at all. We saw the art room, which was a big room, all very sunny, all very nice, but it didn't have a whole lot of equipment yet. There was a table of four ladies who were chattering and seemed to be having a nice time. They're all old, but they were pretty healthy looking. Their food arrangement was very livable. There were several plans. You could either get three meals or two meals. It's an open kitchen from noon to 11:00 or something like that, where you could get anything you want at any time. It was very flexible. The whole thing was very livable, especially if you're healthy. The kitchen looked all very new and was full of visible chefs and they were all young and seemed busy. They were going great guns for lunch. There were several very nice dining facilities in varying degrees, from very casual to pretty fancy. They were all very nice and gave a lot of options. It was like living in a hotel or a cruise ship. The furniture was very nice. The place was kind of spread out. The ceilings were enormous. Everything was really big. They had a very nice pool and it's very nice outside. I was very impressed, especially with the one person that we met. Somebody greeted us and called her, and they were perfectly nice and what you'd expect.

The Goldton reminds me of a cruise ship, beautifully decorated. All the staff are friendly, helpful, and happy. FOOD is excellent, care is great. My mom is in assisted living and love's IT. I don't have to worry about her, I know she is in great hands. Best part very reasonable for the care she is getting. Highly, highly recommend. Thank you Goldton for your great service.

We had a wonderful tour of The Goldton at Venice. The lady who assisted me did such a beautiful job. She didn't put any pressure on us. She had all the answers to the questions we had. It was just delightful. The place was well done. The whole thing was very professional and she did a terrific job. You couldn't ask for a nicer person to take you around or a prettier place because they did a beautiful job with the decorating. They do have a policy where if you have a relative staying, they have a room available to rent. The model room was beautifully decorated. They would provide everything but the washer/dryer. The thing I was most impressed with was the contemporary decor throughout the building and also the very nice wide hallways. And the extra-height ceilings made it feel like it was spacious. That was my dominant feeling of the entire place. It was a nice deal because they have three restaurants in that building and you can eat at any of them. I think the only thing I might think about is that you're only getting two meals. You have to take breakfast and then you get to choose between lunch and dinner. What I did like about it is she said that for hurricanes, they have a generator that generates for the whole building.
