My mom moved into Cypress Springs Gracious Retirement Living. I like its location. The place is very clean and the people there are great. It has everything we need. The staff has been very nice and very, very helpful. The food is pretty good. It is better than I expected for that kind of a place. They have a ton of activities all day long every day. They have a pool and water aerobics. They have all kinds of games and events. They also have a movie theater.

Cypress Springs Gracious Retirement Living was terrible. The lunch we had there was so bad. The amount of food that my wife got wouldn't keep an ant alive. It was really, really bad. The facility was nice from a standpoint of the building and what they had to offer. However, the meal itself was very, very small. The dessert was nothing but big baking powder biscuits that had been heated over and over in a microwave until it was rock solid; it had nothing but a spoonful of strawberry jam on top. The person that walked us through did a good job. She took us through the various facilities, and she did fine. It was mainly the food we didn't like. The layout of the place was very acceptable. The rest of it was presented just fine. They're going to have to get some better food that's prepared better. One other thing about the food is they're served at a certain time of the day. It was like eight o'clock, 12 o'clock, and five o'clock; that was it. You had a half hour in there to get food and that was it. I guess that was the worst part of the place was how they were treating these people.

We went to Cypress Springs. My father likes it. It's right behind the shopping center with the Publix, and he loves Publix Grocery Stores. It had several restaurants in it, and he likes the fact that he could just walk across the street. It was off of University Boulevard, and it was relatively quiet; he liked that. He liked the way that the rooms were situated. They were just designed a little bit different than the other places. He requested to go back a second time for this. We just visited the independent and the assisted living there. The rooms were nice. A couple that we looked at had brand new carpet, and you could tell that by the smell of fresh paint and those things. They designed them well to show how you would set up your furniture if you moved in. The lady who gave us the tour was very, very nice. My father liked her, too. The staff was very nice and very helpful. I actually like her the best, too. It had a very limited outside area and very limited parking. They have a fantastic movie room. They show older movies that senior citizens would enjoy.

Cypress Springs Retirement Living has the the most helpful savvy staff, the most diverse entertainment for their residents, and is the cleanest most modern facility of any retirement home I've researched in Florida when searching for a facility for my parents to live. I can't say enough good things about Cypress Springs. Keith Miller

I've established myself at Cypress Springs. They're exceptional, and I enjoyed them very much. They have many activities that are very enjoyable. I can't ask for more. The staff is very helpful and dedicated, and I appreciate them. The food is satisfactory. There are days that it isn't, but most of the time, it's the best. We have a library, a fantastic exercise room, a card room, and theater. It's top notch.

We went to Cypress Springs and saw a good one-bedroom. The dining area and menu were fine. The place was very clean and orderly. We talked to some residents who were happy enough.
