"My father moved into Grand Villa of Sarasota. It was very nice. The staff was very kind. The facilities were beautiful, very attractive, and well furnished. Everything's beautiful there. The staff members are very concerned, always check with him, and see what he needs. They take very good care of him. They bring their furniture in there. It's a big room. He is just really happy with it, and so are we. There are five or six things they can do every day. I know he does the walk."

"I like the location of Alderman Oaks Retirement Center. It was near the hospital and our physicians, so that was ideally located. You had the stores and other activities of Downtown Sarasota. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were as good as they could be. They had a gym, a salon, and a courtyard. It's near restaurants. It's near the shopping area of Downtown Sarasota."

"DeSoto Palms Assisted Living Community is a very nice place. The residents are very active. The food is not bad. The staff takes great pride in their patients. "

"I have chosen here but I haven't moved in yet. The first thing we noticed when we went on a tour is how happy the people that were there in talking to each other and communicating. That was one of the big things. The price was another, and that was the second thing. They've been very helpful in helping me set up the room and anything else I needed. I'm happy with the size of my room. I don't need a lot, but it has a bathroom and a screened-in porch. I'm on the first floor. I've got furniture delivered there from Wayfair, and they said they'd handle it. And I'm going to have furniture moved down on the 15th from where I am, and they said to let them know and they'll have dollies out and things ready to move them to the room for me. All in all, they've been very, very, very helpful. The staff members have been very friendly. Everybody speaks to me and introduces themselves. They're very, very nice. They have a laundry room on the second floor, and they have a library, which is important to me. They even told me if I knew when the TV was coming, they were going to connect it for me. And my tour was complete."

"My mom moved into Cypress Springs Gracious Retirement Living. I like its location. The place is very clean and the people there are great. It has everything we need. The staff has been very nice and very, very helpful. The food is pretty good. It is better than I expected for that kind of a place. They have a ton of activities all day long every day. They have a pool and water aerobics. They have all kinds of games and events. They also have a movie theater."

"I've moved into The Alloro at University Groves. It's been great so far. I like that it's brand new and it's very close to my son. This is not a care facility. It's a 55 and over. We have pickleball, bocce, and a nice big swimming pool. There's a whole bunch of other things. We have get-togethers and wine in the evenings. It's like living in a kind of fancy apartment building. They have breakfast and it's free for residents Monday through Friday. If you want to be there for dinner, you can sign up. It's not free. You pay for it. It's like going to a restaurant, but that's available as well as the bistro for lunch. If you want to eat out, you can eat out. If you want to eat in, you can do that, too. The food is good, but we have a full-sized kitchen in every apartment. It's like being home. There are two buildings, and the activities are sort of in the middle. The staff is excellent."

"I went to Elan Manatee Assisted Living & Memory Care. Their rooms were beautiful. So their rooms, the cleanliness, everything about it, there was nothing negative about them. Did not have any meals, but she did give us a box of chocolate chip muffins. But those were not eaten. The staff was very nice."

"Inspired Living at Lakewood Ranch was beautiful, clean, and very nice. Everything was great. The staff during the tour was very good. I have no issues with them at all. They answered all our questions. The dining area was lovely. They were having a singer, little snacks, and something to drink, and they were dancing and singing a song. It was very nice. It's easily accessible to get around."

"We have not found anything negative about Aston Gardens at Pelican Pointe. It is a wonderful place. I would recommend it to anybody. It is large. They have 300 apartments in 5 different buildings. The food is good. They have all kinds of activities. "

"My husband moved into Village on the Isle. We chose it because they have no COVID. They have private rooms and locked-down units, which are not considered memory care. Each unit area has a locked door. You can't get in and out unless you call an attendant. They have everything you can think of. They have PT and OT. They've got great nutritional meals. The rooms are very light, bright, and cheery. Each room is private. Each patient has their laundry done and their beds made. The staff goes out of their way to help them. The bathroom is handicapped-accessible. They also have shower chairs, commodes, and wheelchairs, which are all accessible to the patients. If the family members would like to take their loved ones out for an hour or two, they get a pass to take them out. So the patients are still able to get some fresh air and enjoy the world. They have plenty of activities."

"I will move to the Bay Indies. They have social activities there, so that's the main thing that I like there. They have three pools. They have bocce balls. They have a kayak river that you can go down, tennis, and all the stuff that those kinds of places have. The real estate lady was very nice. She lives there and loves it. They're very good. It's very neat. All the houses are neat."

"San Marco have people that work on the property in case of emergency, but they're more independent living than assisted. They do have a bus that comes in once a week that would take the residents to the grocery store. "

"I'm living at the Summit at Venice. I like the place a lot and it's very clean. At first, I don’t like being in a facility, but I like this place. It's very nice. I've been here for over three years and I am happy living in here. I like the help that I am getting. The staff are very good to us. I also like the food. We have a lot of activities and we have people come in and they sing, someone plays the violin and the piano. We actually have a lot of entertainment. Overall, this is just a nice place. I tell everybody that I know that if they ever have to put their parents somewhere, this is the place to put them. "

"My husband’s dad moved to Tuscan Gardens last week. He loves his room. The staff is attentive and responsive. Food is great. Dad is quite independent and sharp and he is happy he has moved here. We are very happy with our decision! And they have so many activities and the people are very friendly."
