"My husband has moved into Discovery Village at the Forum. He's still in independent living so far. The main issue is that it looks like a hotel. It does not look like a nursing home. It's very nice. The accommodations are very nice. Everyone's quite friendly. It's more like a hotel resort setting. His room is very nice. It has a full kitchen, breakfast bar, living room with a door that goes into a small lanai, a large, spacious bedroom with two closets, and a large bathroom with a walk-in shower. Everything is nice. They have housekeeping once a week. They change his linens once a week. He has meals provided in a restaurant atmosphere. They also have a beautiful restaurant inhouse and they have a bar. The food is very good. The menu is very extensive. They have their standard, cheeseburger, French fries, garden salad, all types of salads, and all types of sandwiches. They also have a meal of the day. It's always a hot meal with an entree, a few vegetables, and dessert on a daily basis, and they post weekly what they'll be having. They have ribs one night and catfish one night. They have a huge in-ground heated pool. They have activities if you choose to partake. They have a beautiful lounge area with a baby grand piano. They have ongoing activities. They have a workout room. They have an in-house salon. They have everything you need. It's very posh, very clean, and beautiful."

"Shell Point Retirement Community is excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and I highly recommend it to anybody that is thinking about a retirement community. I think it's one of the best you can find anywhere. They have all different room styles and sizes. There are very small studios, and they go all the way up to three bedrooms, and two baths (depends on what you want and what you want to pay for). We cook on our own, but they have about five restaurants on the premises, and they're all very good. If there's any kind of amenity that you would want in a retirement community, you will find it here. They have everything imaginable from tennis to pickleball, to golf to Bocce, to Croquet to game rooms, to railroad train models, or any kind of game or activity or program that you might have an interest in. They also have a wonderful woodshop, a pottery place, an art studio, and places where you can practice your instruments. They have every conceivable amenity that anybody could ever want. I don't think I've ever found anything that was not provided."

"I went to Buccaneer Estates. It was good. We were very impressed. I went online and I found one that was in our price range. And so I contacted the realtor. We went out and looked and we bought the first one we looked at. It was beautiful. We've got 1400 square feet. They have a community clubhouse, bingo, and ceramics. They have all kinds of activities that go on. They have a big pool, so we were looking for that."

"We have lived here at Arbor trace for 5+ years and love it. We are so spoiled by the care of our wonderful employees. The neighborhood is very well cared for, the food excellent, and everything kept very clean. We are still active at our golf club but try to take advantage of as many of the extra activities as we can. We also have great entertainment which should not be missed. It is large enough for privacy if one wants it, but small enough to be a real community. Best deal for your money!"

"We signed a contract for Aston Gardens at Pelican Marsh. It's something we can afford, and we liked what we saw. There's a library, a theater, a swimming pool, and an exercise room. The bills are included in your rent. The person that we have the most contact with is Darlene, and she answered all our questions. We met the director of the whole facility, and he was very kind and helpful in answering our questions. We met the chef that is the head of the restaurant and the preparation of the meals, and we met the exercise woman who gives advice and helps in the exercise room as to what is most beneficial. They're undergoing some renovations."

"Staff is fabulous. Both my Mom and a dear friend have had long stays in Premier Place rehabbing after hospital stays. Staff couldn't have done more to make sure the rooms were very clean, to everyday care (CNAs were so kind), to Doctors and Nurses who explained procedures and recuperation processes well. My friend loved how the chef cooked the fish and ordered it EVERDAY! Thanks to the Glenview for taking such good care of my loved ones."

"Moorings Park is wonderful. I have visited a friend there many times. They showed us around and bought us dinner, and it was very nice. The food is excellent. The dining area is wonderful with flowers and everything nice. They have a lot like theater, lectures, movies, and swimming. As for the rooms, they are all different. They have one-bedrooms, two-bedrooms, and four-bedrooms. They have a whole selection, and they are very homey. You furnish it with your own furniture. The security is excellent because it is a gated community. Everybody is friendly, nicely dressed, and it is just a nice place. "
