"The room I was in was very clean. The bathroom was spotless I received 3 very nice meals everyday. I was especially pleased by the quality of the food. They also came by with coffee and tea The physical therapy staff were kind and firm with me. I was able to get better and go home. The nursing staff and doctors were always available at the desk for questions I or my wife had they were also kind and courteous. Social services were also helpful to put in place a physical therapist to come to my home the day after I left to start in home care My wife was also allowed to bring in our small dog zoey I would highly recommend this place to anyone"

"Evans Health Care was very clean and very welcoming. The staff at the reception was very, very nice and very friendly. I was telling her what I was there for, what I was looking for, and to see what availability they had. She went and got her director and he was knowledgeable. They just couldn't accommodate me, but he gave me a list of all the places to try. He was very helpful. As far as the entrance, it was very clean. A lot of the residents were active, in and out. There were some residents walking, and some were in wheelchairs. They were very nice to them."

"I like Health Park very much. The people are very attentive. My mother is in a large room for two with windows. It’s clean and well maintained. The location is fine, and the grounds are well kept and pretty. "

"I recently had a loved one here in this facility. I had a few minor concerns that were immediately addressed by the DON and never had any more issues. The administrator was very kind and made himself accessible to talk or to follow up on previous concerns. The rooms were clean and the staff was very attentive to her needs. Very pleased with the care provided by all and would recommend them to others."

"I'm already at Calusa Harbour. It's very well run. The price is good, which is a big deal. It's right on the river. And if there's a problem in the building, they will help you and take care of you. During Hurricane Ian, all the people who were living there couldn't return to their apartments, so they were bused to other properties where they stayed for an additional nine months until the building was repaired. So they take good care of you. Right now, they're changing everything. Our rent includes breakfast and dinner. They just switched everything, so the change in the food is new, and it's a little hard because the food they had was great, and now they have new recipes and we're all voting every week. It hasn't been the greatest changeover, but they're working on it, and they listen to everybody."

"Dad is at Consulate Health Care, and they seem like a pretty nice facility. I visited the facility about four times in the last couple of months. The facility seemed pretty clean to me. Most of the staff seemed pretty good. I know my sister had a problem with a few of them not being really attentive to things when my dad needed help, but so far I can't say anything negative or too positive with the staff. If there is one thing they need to improve on, I would say communication, because it seems to be that has been the ongoing problem my sister had with them, and I can see it too. "

"I couldn't say enough good things about Gulf Coast Village. The people that work there are lovely. We've talked to people and we've known people who live here in our own community who have sold here and gone there, and they can't say enough good things about that place, except that at our age, which is early to mid-80s, it's a $275,000 buy-in and then you're looking at another $6000 to $7000 to rent it. It's a bit of a turnoff. For us to spend that amount as late in life as we are and as close as we are to needing more assistance than independent living, it just wasn't a good fit for us right now. We have had many meals there. We were in their cafeteria, not a party, and ordered off the menu. The food was tremendous. Everything that I saw there was clean. The only problem is waiting in line for elevators, but that happens in any place that has a lot of floors. A lot of their people have a walker, a cane, or a wheelchair, although that's not your majority, but you may have to wait in line to get down to eat on one floor. Otherwise, the facility is lovely. They're very, very safe. When people go in, you have to register at the desk and get a badge before you can go in. So, you always have an ID on as a guest so that they know that there isn't somebody just wandering in."

"My mother moved in Shell Point Larsen Pavilion in August of 2006 and died in December of 2010. My father and I liked them very much and I give them two thumbs up. We thought they did a good job. They had activities there. I liked that there were facilities that my dad and I could take her out to lunch or supper which we did at least once a week. "
