"I visited someone from the church who lived here. I thought it was very nice, airy, and open. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Her bedroom was very nice, and she was very satisfied with that. "

"The Courtyard could be my choice because they allow cats, which is my mother's only concern. Right now, I'm still on hold for Medicaid Diversion Program. I'm just waiting for the funding from state of Florida so I could get her in some place. The staff, as far as that goes, is very helpful, and they seem to have more connections as far as getting the funding done. They're very helpful and attentive to my mom's health and needs. She would get good care there. "

"The Gallery at North Port was excellent. They had some villas that were very, very nice and we were quite interested in those, possibly obtaining one of them in the future. There seemed to be a great interaction between the staff and the residents. They seemed to have fun and they communicated well. The food was very good. The dining area was very modern and up-to-date. It was restaurant style and it was very nice. They have a very nice pool and a lot of areas for enjoying the view. They take very good care of the place. It's relatively new also. I don't think that it's that old."

"Brookdale Rotonda assisted living seemed a little bit more laid back for me. It was homey and very nice and they were quite complete with everything they had. It was just the feeling that I got there, it was more reserved and it was too quiet. Everybody was just sitting around and I didn't get to see too many activities of people participating there. My current place is just a little bit livelier to me. Brookdale was a little institutionalized, it was just a little too quiet. The residents were just sitting around, just talking to each other very quietly in the different places where you could sit outside. In my current place, they're sort of livelier and it makes you feel good. I'm going to be 89 years old in another week and I need that happiness. Also, the minute I walked into Brookdale, out came this lady and she's got two dogs and they're barking. I thought, "Oh, my God, if I had a room next to barking dogs. It would be a no". The staff were very nice and were very good though. They showed me everything."

"Grand Villa was renovated, so everything is brand new. They're taking care of Mother, providing her meals, and helping with her medicine. The few staff members I met were very friendly. The director was very nice and there after hours just to make sure everything was right. They had live music two nights a week, bingo, game night, movie night, and a swimming pool. She's very happy. "

"We had an in-person tour of Elison Assisted Living of Bella Vita. We loved the person who gave us the tour and talked to us. The people in charge were very friendly, answered all my questions, and were very transparent with all their answers. I would highly recommend it to somebody who was looking for assisted living. They had a main ballroom right after you walked in the door, and that was multipurpose to be used for several activities, such as dancing or exercise. They have all the amenities, like a pool, a craft room, and a painting room. It was all on that main level as soon as you entered the facility, so it was easy to access for everyone. The apartment sizes were of good quality."

"Absolutely wonderful in every way. I have been a resident for two months and I have observed how the staff treats residents. The nursing, physical therapy, food, and activities are superb. They treat you so kind and are always enthusiastic about their job. Activities every day and a super clean facility. I would admit my loved ones here because of my experience. GREAT PLACE!"

"The Goldton at Venice is a beautiful, very large, new, and lovely facility. The woman who gave me the tour was very kind, accommodating, and very outgoing and friendly. The people I met were nice. The food looked good. They were in the process of preparing something, and it looked and smelled wonderful, but I didn't try it. It is considerably more expensive than the other one. The campus itself is much smaller. I like the idea of being able to take my husband outside and enjoy the outdoors a bit more."

"I toured A Banyan Residence. They were excellent. It was clean, the staff was attentive, and I just loved the whole aspect of it. They wanted their residents to spend a lot of time outside, and they had outside activities. There were fruit trees planted around there. They had a koi pond. They had an area for cookouts for the residents, but my husband was a little bit too far gone to go there."

"My father-in-law moved into Brookdale Cape Coral. It's immaculate, and everybody there is more than helpful to us. They are all amazing, from housekeepers to nurses and financial staff, managers, and assistant managers. He has a studio, and it's fairly spacious. We have a lot of furniture that we got in there for his comfort, but it's very comfortable. He has a little kitchen area, microwave, and refrigerator, so he can have things for himself that he likes. He had his laundry done, and he said it was exceptional. They bring everything in, and they hang it. The medical staff answers his questions. They give him what he needs. The kitchen people, he doesn't eat breakfast, so they bring him coffee to his room. They're simply amazing. They have sitting places all along the corridors, every so many doors down, they have couches, chairs, water, and dispensers. So if any of the people get tired, since he's in a walker, they can sit. It's got a beautiful living room. The dining room is like something out of a hotel dining area, and their garden is awesome, where they can walk. They're insistent on making the residents participate. He didn't want to go to meals, but they're insistent and say you have to go to meals. When we did our prior walkthrough, we saw several residents in their exercise area, which they do daily. And if he needs something additional, they will accommodate. They have bingo and other activities. They also have an impressive military veteran room with a TV and a couch with the veterans' pictures hanging on the walls or shelves. They're very appreciative and thankful for the military and any service members they have as residents. They have a happy hour on Fridays and outings. In comparison to a nursing home and some of the other assisted living that we've looked at, it's very, very reasonable."

"We toured a number of Independent and Assisted Living facilities to find the best place for my Dad. The Galley at Cape Coral was and is the perfect fit for him. The staff is helpful and friendly, the amenities are amazing and his new apartment is exactly what we were looking for. We couldn’t have found a better place for our Dad to thrive and feel at home."

"We toured Highpoint at Cape Coral. We met with the lady there, and she gave us a nice tour. She was very friendly and answered all our questions. Because my brother's a veteran, she gave us information on a lot of the veterans' stuff that I didn't get from the VA, which was helpful. The price was pretty good. It's within the range of everybody else, so it wasn't really high. It's a fairly new facility, so it was very clean and had a lot of places he could go to eat and have activities. They had a movie theater, and they had a pool there which is very unusual. It was very nice. The living atmosphere there was nice. It was a new facility, so it was nice and clean. Everything was easily accessible, and there was also access to outdoors, like gardens and pool, and stuff like that. When we visited, we were kind of in between meals. There wasn't a lot of activity going on."

"My friend is at Calusa Harbour. Everything is nice. The room is nice. The food she complains about, but it is normal for her age. However, it is very clean. There is no smell or anything like that. Also, I think they take good care of my friend. I would recommend this to others. It is a beautiful place. My friend chose this facility because it is right on the river, and there is water. It is just a beautiful place. "
