My wife has therapy at Courtyard Assisted Living 3 times a week. They seem to take good care of people there. They give her two meals a day and also coffee sometimes. My wife likes the people there. I would suggest Courtyard to other people.

The Courtyard Assisted Living was horrible. I would not recommend that one. It was not maintained. A very dreary atmosphere. You pull up to the place and the whole exterior is just filthy. There's junk everywhere. You go into the lobby, and there's nobody there. You have to go and find somebody. They have this huge room in the vestibule and it's empty. I knocked on the door and I said I was here for a tour because it was a tour that was set as far as the time, and the guy left me sitting there in the lobby for 15 minutes. He finally came back but couldn't care less about giving me the tour. It's just not a very inviting place. At the time I took the tour, according to their calendar, there was supposed to be an activity going on, but it wasn't going on. I didn't see one resident the whole time I was there, and I walked through the whole place. So that tells me that all the residents were just in their rooms. The dining area was nice. But there was nobody in it. I was in and out of that place in 15 minutes because I said, 'I'm not putting my aunt here.'

This place is a dump my family member is in it and they won't clean his room they don't clean his shower or bathroom they don't check on their clients they are very neglected and the place smells like urine. The staff are the most rudest staff I have ever met. They have used foul language and they don't do anything when u visit they are sitting around on their phone stay away ....

My husband is a resident there...staff answering phones are RUDE. I left message with them for owner/manager never received a call back. He is a blind hemipalegic and needs a lot of help with phone. Verizon called (which they denied) to reprogram his personal phone...NO ONE WANTS TO HELP!

The tour I had at The Courtyard Assisted Living seemed very incomplete. Although it seemed to be a fairly nice place, I wasn't thrilled with the person that gave me the tour. I didn't get to spend much time with him. He didn't seem to be very busy, but he just took me on a short tour and back to his office and asked me some questions.

It was a really good tour at The Courtyard Assisted Living. What I liked about it is that they give you the option to go month to month. For the price point, maybe they need updating on the website. I was a little surprised at the price. But overall, it was nice. The room was clean. They have an age range from people in their 50s to their 90s. My mom is on the younger side, so that was something I liked about it. The facility was nice. It was a little older, but it looked clean and well-kept. The staff members were very friendly. The guy seemed to know everybody we passed by name. He was the owner, and he could answer all my questions, which was good. The rooms were decent. I would say that it's nothing fancy, and it's very basic. They have like a very small bed that you could use, or you could bring your own furniture in. They were nice and spacious, but a little bit outdated and old.

The Courtyard Assisted Living was nice, well laid out, and had the necessary facilities that someone would want. There were many features to it, and you could get different types of services. They have a doctor and nurse that come in, and so if there are any medical problems, they're available and I liked that. The place was also clean. The person who gave me the tour showed me different rooms and told me how much it would cost. They were adequate and seemed comfortable. I liked it. They do different activities, like play games and stuff to keep them occupied. I would recommend anybody to go there.

The Courtyard Assisted Living looked like it needed some maintenance. It looked pretty dated and not as nice as the other ones we have visited. The staff who assisted me during the tour was the manager, a retired Filipino doctor. He was nice and I had an appointment, but he just basically showed me a couple of rooms. I actually live right behind that facility. I know some of the residents used to wander out. I'd have to call them and have them come pick them up. From what they told me, the activities sounded pretty much standard, like the other places have. They didn't show me what was available, but I know they have transportation and that they have therapy. It was actually very quiet when I was there. I only saw a couple of people. They just needed to do some remodeling and cleaning up. All of the lettering and the wrap part have deteriorated on their transportation van. It looks terrible and it sits right out in front of the building. It's kind of an eyesore and doesn't give a good impression of the facility inside. From what I did see, it looks pretty basic. They need to spruce it up a little.

I did not like The Courtyard. It is kinda small. I cannot say it was dirty, but it was old. It needs refurbishing. I guess they are gonna do that, but right now it is old. The one staff person I met was nice. It was dirty from the outside, and it needs painting. I did not see the rooms or the dining area.

I went to The Courtyard Assisted Living, and it was awful. It had a bad smell. The front entryway was nice, but you had to go through dark tunnel-like old hallways to get to where you want. The staff wasn't very professional looking, but she did a good job, and tried very hard. One lady was in the back smoking where she wasn't supposed to be, and everything about the place just turned me off. My kids would want me to stay there.

Our tour at The Courtyard Assisted Living didn't start out really well. Theyve had a bit of an argument between some of the employees and they were in the lobby having a company meeting at the time, and it was kind of unsettling at the time. The facility itself is set up nicely although they had more people that needed a lot more help than what my mother did. I wasn't super impressed and when they were touring us through the place, it wasn't the cleanest. When we went to the kitchen area, they hadn't cleaned up some of the stuff off the floor. When someone's on a tour, usually the places are at their best appearance, but this place wasn't. The people were nice and they were well-staffed. They looked like they had plenty of people for the residents they had there.

My mother moved into the Courtyard. Its dirty, she doesnt get the care that she needs, and the nurses spend more time outside smoking than they do inside taking care of the residents. I was very mislead by their website in relation to what they would do for my mother. Shes kept in her room, shes not encouraged to come out and do anything, and Im very displeased with it. She has a small 1-bedroom apartment. I have nothing against it. The grounds are OK, and the property is very nice. Theres just a crafts room, no exercise room, and its more for people that are completely disabled. Im just not happy with it at all. She gets only two free meals a day.

The Courtyard was an old facility and it was more for people that are disabled, or incapable of taking care of themselves, rather than somebody like my mother who is still fairly active and vibrant. The location was OK. It had shopping nearby. Most of the residents were incapacitated. There was nobody really up and moving.

The Courtyard could be my choice because they allow cats, which is my mother's only concern. Right now, I'm still on hold for Medicaid Diversion Program. I'm just waiting for the funding from state of Florida so I could get her in some place. The staff, as far as that goes, is very helpful, and they seem to have more connections as far as getting the funding done. They're very helpful and attentive to my mom's health and needs. She would get good care there.
