"My mom was at the independent living facility here and then she moved to their assisted living. The facility is very nice. It's excellent. They have lots of activities. They served three meals a day. You have your apartment and if you're in the assisted living, they have nurses that come every couple of hours to check on the patients. It's very nice. They have arts and crafts, bingo, cards, and musical during the day. There are a lot of activities and everybody was very friendly. "

"We visited the independent living community of Independence Hall. It's an older building, but it's very nice and they have renovated the entire place. The staff was very pleasant and very knowledgeable. We had lunch there, too, and the food was excellent. The rooms themselves were very nice. We looked at a 1-bedroom and a 2-bedroom apartment. You bring your own furniture in."

"My husband, Ray, just passed away at The Palace at Weston in Memory Care. He had the most incredible experience with immensely caring personnel. I have no words to express my gratitude. Beginning with Stephanie (my angel)who admitted him, Laura, nursing staff, the CNA’s (Jose, Pedro, Arnaldo, Helen and countless others) who treated him like family. They made sure that he was clean and fed constantly. They were there for me when he died. The Vita’s staff that they have is incredible.. The cleaning staff, entrance staff(Anna) and restaurant staff were exceptional. Justin, activities director, is one in a million. Justin came to my husband’s room and gave him a personal concert on his birthday with the staff. I got a bouquet of flowers for our anniversary. I am convinced that my husband lived longer and better because of the care he received. Thank you!Thank you!!"

"Century Village - Pembroke Pines is a 55+ community, and they have a lot of activities. I am moving on the 10th of July. We were looking for independent living, and I find it very good. We're going to have a new apartment in a new part that they built. I'm going to have two rooms and 1-1/2 baths, and it's very comfortable. They have transportation to everywhere around Pembroke, and they have nursing 24-hour on-call. "

"My parents will be moving into Five Star Premier Residences of Plantation. We visited, and they fell in love with it. It was available and it was in their time frame. Everything just worked out perfectly. They will have breakfast and dinner served to them. They go down into the dining room, so my mom doesn't have to prepare anything. All she has to do is lunch, and lunch is very simple. It's a bigger place for them where they're going to be, and there is a community for them also. They need people around their age. Cassie is an outstanding young person who is willing, able, and ready to help and assist everybody. She is so accommodating. It was wonderful. The cleanliness was outstanding. The staff we met walking through the halls was very likable, very nice, kind, warm, and loving. I can't say enough about it."

"It seemed like a great place. The residents had clubs, card nights, a pool, etc. My grandfather was very pleased with the place. It also had a guard gate which was staffed and not broken like a lot of other places I had seen. It really seemed as if the staff cared and the residents cared about their community. The security there was tight certainly as I was grilled every time I went to visit. The residents each had a little patio and a little front area in which they could plant things if they wanted. I have honestly thought about living there myself one day simply because they seemed so happy there. The grounds were maintained regularly and everything looked highly presentable. The area of town it was located in was nice and did not seem to have any issues with crime. I would highly recommend it to anyone who was looking for a place for their relatives. It allows for them to have a great sense of community and a great pride for where they live. "
