"It is unbelievable. That's why my mother picked it. Everything is positive about it. We're not in there yet, and I know something could change, but from what we see there's nothing bad that I could say about it. The people who helped us were very pleasant. They gave us a lot of good information, and they took us into independent living and to the assisted living and showed us around. My mother decided to go with the assisted living because that's what her insurance covers. The rooms were very nice. For what you need, they're good enough and big. My mother is moving into a 1-bedroom apartment, and it's only about 500 square feet, but it's all she needs. She doesn't need a kitchen because they cook all her meals. It's just a little kitchenette, and it's perfect for what she needs. They have activities and anything you could think of, like bingo, cards, they take them out to different places, and there's something scheduled every day for them to do. It looked like the people were happy. We talked to the people, and they seemed happy. One woman was there 8 years. They don't look like they're ready to die, like sitting in wheelchairs falling asleep."

"Independence Hall is a very nice facility. It is a luxury retirement community. The staff is very professional and very friendly. The rooms are very beautiful. "

"I toured. It was very nice. The lady that took care of me was very, very nice. The staff was very nice. Everything else over there was wonderful as well, of all the offers, everything was downstairs. It was very handy. I did like it. I was going to put Mom there until I saw the outside area over in the other place. Elaine was very nice. They have more stuff to offer over there. They had a mass on Sunday that Mom could attend. So, that was a plus over there."

"My mom moved to Forest Trace. The outdoor space that they have is very welcoming for her to be able to walk, not like she's inside all the time. The cleanliness is okay. It could be improved. She just did a yoga class. The exercise classes they give them, she likes, and she loves the meal there. They have music and singers. Everyone was very nice. The cleanliness in the out area is okay, but I think they're not cleaning the rooms. At least I expected the room to be sparkling clean the first day, and it wasn't. I think it was a rush to clean up."

"My father just moved in last week. The facility was extremely helpful with the transition. The staff seems gracious, warm and welcoming. My father is very happy as he begins to settle in. "

"It was very upscale. It is actually the one my father likes the best. It is two blocks from my father's house. It is like being in a resort kind of because it's a high rise. You don't have to go outside really for anything. However, the apartments were very nice. As a matter of fact, it is 100% full right now. For activities, they have piano-player, entertainment, and cocktail hours. They have an arts and crafts room. They have a room there where speakers come and talk. It is very nice. The staff's work attitude is fine as far as I can tell. However, the staff at the restaurant wasn't as forthcoming as the ones in the other facility. They didn't really cater as much."

"The facilities are just right for my mom at 94. She started out in Independent Living and enjoyed her freedom including driving her car. That ended but activity and friendship did not. Dining for guests and residents is the best I have had after touring other similar facilities. After a bad fall and infection assisted living was just what mom needed. Staff has been right on with help when needed but still fostering independence. "

"I had an in-person tour of the Grand Villa of Deerfield Beach. The staff was very friendly and responsive. I arrived way early for my appointment, so the person who was supposed to give me the tour couldn't because she was with another client. Someone else took me around and showed me the place. The best thing about them were the people. The facility itself was nice. The rooms were OK. I thought some of the furniture was a bit dated, but it was clean. They had their regular entrees for the day, but then you can always order other things off the menu, so there was enough variety. There was a café and a lounge. They had a nice outdoor space."

They were very nice, but the one they had available, there was no view of anything but the parking lot. I didn't really care for that, because my father was coming from a place that had a beautiful water view. The room itself was very nice, but I just did not like a view of the parking lot."

"The Imperial Club Independent and Assisted Living Community was nice. It's a one-bedroom apartment. It's large. It's got a nice kitchen, a living room, and a bedroom. It's like a hotel with an elevator. The facility was very clean. The staff was very professional and informative. They had a cafeteria, a pool, a gardening area, and a recreation area, so it was nice."
