"I toured HarborChase of Coral Springs, and that was my first choice if I had to go somewhere to put my husband, because the patients are well taken care of. They were all very helpful, helping patients and attending to their physical needs prior to worrying about being on the phone or who's going to go out for dinner tonight. It's amazing what you see. It's a smaller community, and I like that better than being so large. They have an outdoor space and a recreation room. There was a beauty salon or a haircut salon on the premises."

"Covenant Living of Florida is a CCRC. They have everything. They also have assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care. We didn't like the facility. We were looking for a parking place and I didn't feel very comfortable about the way it looked. However, it is right next to Central Park and you can walk into it from the parking lot. I think that's probably a big benefit for a lot of people. We found an apartment there that we liked a lot, but it didn't have a view. The patio and the view were not that great. We didn't have a meal, but we visited the restaurant and they have two kinds of restaurants, one where you can go in and take out and one where you can sit down and have a meal. It looked fine and the food looked good. The facility, to me, was a little rundown. It felt like you were in a nursing home. We'd rather feel like we're in an apartment. We learned a little bit about it and also, we are not sure that we want to go into a CCRC. We have to put a lot of money upfront. They have everything there. You can stay there until you die. If somebody is looking for a place soon, they have quite a bit of availability. The staff during the tour was good."

"We chose it because of the convenience to the facilities that we are familiar with. They have programs to keep us busy. We're happy with our choice and the facilities there. My wife and I will be having a two-bedroom and two baths. It's a great place. "

"We have chosen The Palms at Plantation for my parents because it's close to our house. We can just go over there more times a day. The staff members were very knowledgeable about the subject and had a lot of experience. Each person there was pulled from another facility, so they all had long-term experience. They have all kinds of activities. They have nursing staff like RNs besides LPNs. They have an activity director, too. The director has been very knowledgeable and helpful."

"I went to The Meridian at Waterways. Because the land that they built on was so small, everything was small. The rooms as well as the hallways are small. It has a beautiful view of the Intracoastal, but other than that, everything was just small. The food was good. I had lunch there, they gave me lunch. That was very good. The dining room is on the eighth floor, and it has a beautiful, beautiful view. But the prices are very expensive. They had regular amenities. Like most places, they had a place where they had entertainment, a movie theater, and basically, they had a calendar of events for the month. The staff seemed very nice."

"In only a short time since taking over the newly named Grand Villa of Deerfield Beach, I have noticed a lot of change in this community. The people here are incredibly caring, attentive to the needs of my Mom, and take the time to ensure that she is happy and fulfilled. "This is a beautiful new building with jaw dropping water views and award winning architecture and design. Amazing edgeless, salt water pool and first rate gym. Elegant dining room, with a manager and wait staff that couldn’t be better. From top to bottom, the entire management and staff is highly trained, kind, caring and motivated. Wonderful creative activities, exquisite gourmet healthy cuisine, incredible attention to detail. Over the top luxury senior living. All the residents seem very happy and engaged. No excessive rules—very flexible and accommodating. Pet friendly. Just perfect!!!"

"The Meridian at Boca Raton was nice. It was really good, but it was too big and just too far for me. Other than that, it was awesome. The tour was great. The staff showed me everything including the dining room. Everything was excellent. It looked like a hotel. They showed me a bedroom, and it looked like a hotel. It looked nice. They have a little patio where they can hang out. The staff I met were good."

"When we walked in, we felt comfortable there. The location of the unit to the dining room and to the nurse's station was very convenient. Everybody we talked to was very accommodating with our questions and our needs. The room is a two-two. The living room is fairly small. The living rooms could be bigger. The bathrooms and bedrooms are decent-sized. The kitchens are very, very small. I don't like that the refrigerators are like dorm room refrigerators. They're exchanging it out for a larger refrigerator, so that's one of the things that they were accommodating with."
