My sister was transferred to this facility from Plantation Hospital following surgery on a broken femur. She was sent here for rehab before going home. IT HAS BEEN 24 HRS SINCE SHE WAS SENT AND I HAVE BEEN CALLING TO SPEAK TO HER AND I CANNOT EVEN GET A NURSE OR ANYONE FOR THAT MATTER ON THE TELEPHONE. ALL I GET IS A RECORDING TO LEAVE A MESSAGE. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!! WHAT KIND OF FACILITY IS THIS!!! I live in Orlando so I'm not able to just pop over to see her and with covid who knows if I would be able to see her. I need a human to answer the phone, please.

The care has been very good mostly. the frustrating thing is due to the pandemic visitation is not allowed. I understand this however there is no way to reach any staff on weekends or holiday. You get a recording saying leave a message and then it says you can’t leave a message at this time. this facility should not say open 24 hours if you can not reach anyone on weekends especially when we can’t visit

Put a friend in on Friday and by Saturday night my friend called and begged me to get her out as she said they were horrible and not taking cate of her. Sunday morning called her as she was gasping for air with no oxygen and no one answering the phone at the facility I had to call 911 to go get her out and rush her to the hospital where she passed away.

This place doesn't deserve a rating. I husband came in by ambulance and was put in a room. Two nurses cane in and argued with each other about who would be my husbands nurse. Great first impression but, it only went down hill from there. My husband has Dementia and was having a physhocic episode. His bed was broken so I could not keep him in bed. The nurse told 2 hrs to come back to the room. When she did she just lowered his bed to the floor. She knew nothing about my husband and thought she was going to dress a wound. I had to call my family for help. I couldn't even get a wheel chair. They were nice enough to give me a few cans of sofa (without charge). After 4 hours of extreme agitation. I had him transferred to Broward North. While we were waiting on the transfer, they decided to give him some medications. They gave him 12 shots of Haldol every 15 minutes until the ambulance got him out of there. I would strongly suggest you run as far away as you can from this place. There were 2 nurses, Samantha and another one, that were very helpful, but not his nurse Dawn.

Mom will be moving to Sunrise Health and Rehab Center. They have private rooms, and it is very clean. The food seems to be better. They also have a doctor in the facility, and they also have a nursing staff 24/7. Even if mom hasn’t moved in yet, from what I saw I would recommend this place.

Mom didn’t really like Sunrise; she only spent like a week there. She kind of hated it though she has dementia and is very difficult to handle. They had a nice courtyard with a fountain where she could go outdoors. It seemed clean. The people and the nurses seemed professional, but my mother didn’t really like it at all.

My mother went to Sunrise Health & Rehabilitation Center, and it was a pretty good experience for us. The staff was good, the medical staff was good, and the rehab experience itself was pretty good too. It was a nice and clean facility, relatively modern. The rooms were clean and well kept-up, nothing spectacular, but definitely adequate.

My friend is at Sunrise Health and Rehabilitation Center, but I have doubts about this place. The employees there don’t care. They are not very kind. I went there a couple of times, and her room was freezing at 61 degrees. You don’t keep a 92 year old woman in such a room. My friend’s family disagrees with me; they don’t see what I see, and they don’t want to move her to a different nursing home. They keep the people doped. They don’t know where they are. They don’t move their people all the time. It is clean enough, but it is a very unfriendly environment. She has a cold room with linoleum floor, a simple bed, and a very small wardrobe where she can keep her clothes. Additionally, a lot of her clothes have disappeared. It’s a big room, but it is dark and cold. They are not compassionate.

I had a nice walk around Sunrise but we were passed up. It was the same distance from where I live as the other place. From word of mouth, they thought the place was top notch.

when I asked the CNA the last time my family member was toileted she replied by saying does she have to answer that. I was told my family member would be offered three snacks a day in between mealtimes however when I am there in between mealtimes I have to request the snack because they don't offer it. The bed rails on the bed are dirty and when you bring the bed into a longsit position you see the headrest is filthy with caked food or dirt. Next my family member has been on a few occasions found to be sitting upright in her wheelchair with television off and call bell to ring for nurse out of reach

The staff at Sunrise Health & Rehabilitation Center were really attentive to the residents and to the family. They were easy-going and confident. All the needed information for the welfare of the residents was verified by the staff. It is a one floor facility, the rooms were standard in size. I have had no problem with the place so far.

This place is very clean, the staff is friendly and considerate. I took a tour of this facility as part of a clinical assignment for school and spent sometime speaking to the staff and residents. The CNA's take a special interest in the long term care patients and try to get them involved in the activities provided by the facility. For every holiday or religious holiday, they have some sort of activity in store for the residents to get them out of their rooms and involved. Their facility is quite large, consisting of many specialized wings, the staff is professional and does their best to make everyone comfortable and feel at home. The nurses are the real heroes here, and go above and beyond for the residents. Overall, I would say this is one of the best facilities I had gotten a tour of in my experience, I would consider it for a family member should the need ever arise.
