The place looked old and dumpy. My Mom said the aides seemed like they don’t care. She could lift the lid off her food and they would just place the tray and walk off. BUT the NO 1 reason Not to bring your loved one there… my Mom was having a stroke and they did not call 911 because her vital signs were normal. Unbelievable!! Do not bring your loved one there.

My mom is still at Regents Park Of Sunrise. It is a 24-hour skilled nursing facility, and that's what I like best. They need to improve the amount of direct care that they're able to give the patients. They are average in their caring. I don't see anything exceptional there. They appeared to have activities, but my mom is bedridden. Amenities seem to be very basic. My mom is in a shared room, so it's small. The upkeep of the place is average. I clean up my mom's area when I'm there. We are non-Medicaid, so we have to pay out-of-pocket expenses of almost $300 a day. Her initial stay was covered by Medicare, and now we are self-pay. In terms of location, I don't see a hospital nearby, but it is near retail shopping and a grocery store.
