"I'm interested in it, and I'm going back to look at it again. I have a friend who is there, and that's what attracted me to it. What she likes, and what I like, are the lectures that they give there. I have eaten there. The food wasn't spectacular, but it was good. It seemed as if the staff does a good job."

"My mother and her husband have not yet used the assisted-living facilities in this community, as they are still in independent living (at 87 and 95 respectively!). But my mother fell during a group walk, and they insisted on her getting care. She probably would have ignored it on her own. The scan uncovered some stuff (misdiagnosed at Kennedy Hospital, but that is not the fault of Via, Florida medical care is pretty terrible) that she wouldn't have found otherwise. The facility is well-appointed and the service level is high. Worth the money, in my opinion. "

"I am a current resident here, I love my room all of the amenities are close and convenient for me. Alex the Activities director is great I enjoy going to exercise every morning and Arts and crafts. There’s always something to do. The Aids are the best and the food is good."

"Stratford Court of Boca Pointe's appearance was nice, very large, and had different parts. The memory care part was very nice, but the assisted living was not as nice. The staff members who gave me the tour were very nice and good. The dining area at the memory place was nicer than the assisted living place. It was clean, had a nice setting, and nice-sized."

"It was very nice. The people were very friendly. The facility itself was very nice, but I did not see as much activity with the residents. The apartments were spacious. They were very nice, but the one they had available, there was no view of anything but the parking lot. I didn't really care for that, because my father was coming from a place that had a beautiful water view. The room itself was very nice, but I just did not like a view of the parking lot."

"We had dad here, and it has been a great experience so far. We chose this place because it's like an apartment style place as supposed to a hospital. I have no issues with them, and everyone is very nice and treats my father well, so that is a good thing. He also likes his apartment and the food as well."

"Ellison Independent Living of Lake Worth was all very functional. They had a bunch of activities and then they had a huge dining room. They seemed to be open with me and the place was clean, nice, and convenient for the families to come and visit (it's right off the freeway). It seemed well taken care of. The lady was really sweet. When we talked about the initial costs, she was amenable to working with me. So that was good, not just for me, but for other people knowing that they work with all of them."

"My mom is settled in a very nice place. We're so happy. This place is much better for her mental capacity, because when she was in the house with 5 other people, they all had Alzheimer's, and she doesn't have that. There was no one to talk to. This place is big, and it has a library and a computer. It has a pool, too. And now, she can meet people. The staff was OK. They were friendly. She says the food is wonderful. She has a room with a roommate. The people in the room next door are nice. It wasn't dumpy; it was very nice. It was very clean, very lovely. She's upstairs, and when you look out over the balcony, it's really pretty. They have a bus that takes them a certain number of times a week to Wal-Mart. They have bingo time, but she's not a bingo person. They have groups and entertainers that come in on Sundays or other times. It motivates her to go and be with people. She can leave the room, whereas at the other place, she could leave if she wanted to, but it was harder. "

"The absolute best senior living facility around! The managers and every staff member goes above and beyond!!!"

"The thing that first impressed me about this facility is that it is small enough that the owners and staff know everyone by name, and also is able to know their entire history (and therefore can respond immediately if a person has a change in condition or needs medical attention!), as opposed to other places which might be bigger and more expensive, but a person is just a number and can get lost in the crowd. The other great thing I found about this facility is that one of the owners (Renee) is a nurse, and opposed to other facilities which might have a home health nurse who comes in once a day to check only on the residents who are on her caseload, Renee is there every day and can attend to each patient at the facility. Having a licensed nurse on staff is such a plus! Equally impressive is that most meals are prepared from scratch and that the cleanliness of the facility is a top priority. Never once have I walked in and been accosted by an odor. Cleaning seems to take place 24/7, which is amazing, and the staff to resident ratio is much better than at many other facilities. "

"Park Summit was lovely, and the food was great. The apartments were magnificent and large. They had entertainment. Belinda on of the staff was wonderful, very caring, and understanding. "

"My mom is at The Court at Palm Aire. Everything was amazing. It's wonderful. A lot of other places have continental breakfasts, but this one, they have full breakfasts, so three full meals are provided seven days a week. The room is very nice. It is very up-to-date, modern and clean. Hardwood floors, all modern appliances, and new countertops. Everything was modern. I thought the food was pretty good. They have lots of great activities for the residents. They have a happy hour. The happy hour serves real alcohol. It's not like juice, it's real alcohol. It's red or white wine. Each week, it's one signature cocktail and then white wine and red wine, so that's very good. There are a lot of great activities from their movie theater to bingo to live band performances. There are so many things."

"I've known about this beautiful community for years, they offer breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean, the Intracoastal Waterway and have the largest apartments at very competitive rates...but what I find most appealing is the attentive and caring staff that serve my friends living there. They tell me that the red carpet is always rolled out for them and that the staff intimately cares about everyone. I also like the size of the community-so many we looked at in this area are so big and confusing with transient residents and staff. It's amazing that the staff here is so consistent and has a longevity unheard of in a retirement community. We looked at just about every community nearby and no one compares to the friendliness, warmth and comfort that it offers. The views are incredible, but they are nothing compared with everything else this seaside community offers. One day, before I may realize, I plan to make this community my home."
