"We found Brookdale West Boynton Beach to be very clean. The staff was very friendly. We saw three different apartments, and we were very pleased with what we saw. We did not try the food while we were there, but they did offer some refreshments if we needed anything to drink. We observed the dining room and a game room that we looked at. We didn't see anybody doing any activities while we were there, but we saw where the activity areas were and the physical therapy area. I thought the apartment was very nice. We would be happy to put my mother there if that's the route we choose. The apartments were clean. They looked very efficient and almost exactly what we were looking for."

"Brookdale was old but clean and seemed well run. We stayed there for a few days. The food was pretty good. They had a pool, and exercise rooms. They had card games, happy hour, and trips."

"We really liked it and though it was very good. Everybody there was on top of things and more than happy to show us around. The dining area was excellent. They served us lunch, which was very nice. A lot of the people were older than me. We looked at some nice one-bedrooms. The staff was very knowledgeable. They had all kinds of activities, including outings, dances, and different parties all year long. It sounded like the best place to go."

"I've been here at Grand Villa of Boynton Beach for over a year now. They are raising the rent here and they need a good chef. The food is terrible, so I buy my own food. They have a nurse here named Diana, and everybody does not like her. She's mean and nasty. But the rest of the staff is really good. They come and clean once a week, and then they do my laundry once a week, and those are the two things that they do well. I have a 1-bedroom apartment and it's pretty nice. I like it. It doesn't have a kitchen, but it has a small refrigerator, and I brought my own microwave, coffee pot, and toaster. We get entertainment once a month. They have a dining room and a bistro where you can get your coffee and water, and they put donuts in there now and then. It's very conveniently located. Across the street are McDonald's, Walgreens, Chipotle, Starbucks, and Wells Fargo. Around the corner are Fancy Nails, Banfield Pet, and PetSmart, and then behind them are Publix and Panera."

"I visited and it looked nice. The apartments were very nice. The room was beautiful, it was well decorated, it had a brand-new kitchen, new floors, and the bathroom was all new. It was really nice. I didn't see much of the staff, it was just a woman who took us around. They had a pool, they had a gym, and they said that they played cards there, but I didn't see that because of the COVID. It's near shopping, the food store and it's near my doctors, because I live in Delray and it would be very convenient. I'd be able to keep with my doctors, but they didn't have any storage for other things, like for suitcases and all that."

"I toured Arcadia Gardens. They were very nice, but the place was too expensive and there were no services there for older people. The staff who gave the tour was fine. They were very nice. The rooms were very nice, but they were not what I was looking for, not for the price. The place looked upkept though."

"I like Prosperity Oaks. I think it's very nice. I visited the place may times and I think it has a lot to offer. I also like its location. "

"My dad was not agreeable when discussing any change in his lifestyle . He cooked and drove and managed. It was a constant worrisome situation after my mom passed. My Dad is now here and has a renewed outlook on his life. He loves the food, the housekeeping and feels that he is part of this family when we are not there. Great reviews"

"The quality of the residents and the facility itself are the aspects that appealed to me most. It is a very nice facility. I would recommend them for independent living but not for assisted living."

"I will describe Grand Villa of Deerfield Beach as excellent, cozy, and with a friendly atmosphere. They have enough room for anyone and the staff who gave the tour was very friendly. Nobody invited us for lunch, not even water, but that's ok. We stopped by during their activities. The person who handles the activities was very nice, they incorporate the activities for my friend so she'll feel good. They had a good barbecue outside where you can recreate yourself. But for the patient who happens to see everybody eating but for her not to eat anything, not even go closer, and we got there at 12:30. The chauffeur was excellent and the upkeep of the building was very good. I would say that whoever comes between 12:00 and 2:00 for them to offer a snack or invite them for lunch. It's half an hour to get there, so we got there around quarter to one and I did not have a chance to get my friend anything for lunch. I was expecting somebody to come and invite us, that was the only thing I did not like."

"Our experience here has been fantastic. The staff is really great. The rooms are really nice and have their own kitchen and bathroom. I see nothing wrong with the food. You just have to know what to eat and what not to eat. I use to call it as palatable, and I think it is getting better with more diversified stuff. They have a whole list of activities listed in their newsletter. I do trivial pursuit, a poker game on Wednesday nights, and I'm on the Resident's Council. The one thing I really like about the place is I can sleep late in the morning."

"They treat your family member, as one of their own. My grandmother loved the staff, always had a positive interaction with them. She especially loved the dog/emotional pet time. When they brought the dogs around, it made her day every time. I also, have nothing but the best to say. The staff truly cares about the patients and you can tell 100%. "
