"I like the facilities at Grand Villa of Boynton Beach, I liked the activities, and I liked the staff. The only negative is that they didn't have any rooms on the first floor, so you would have to get in an elevator. The reason that's more of an issue for me is because my grandmother had a fear of elevators, so every time she wanted to leave or get a meal that would be a challenge for her. I don't feel like I interacted with the staff quite as much as I did in the other place. They were really, really friendly at the other place, and at Grand Villa they were a little more standoffish. It doesn't necessarily mean that's a negative. They didn't have a gym, but they had a salon, a pool, really good services, lots of games, happy hour and cocktail parties. They seem to have a lot more activities than the other place I've visited."

"Alto Stuart was very nice and very clean. The person we talked to was very professional and there was not too much that we didn't like about it. The rooms were sufficient, for sure, and clean and spacious. The living atmosphere was nice. The community layout was very acceptable and very nice. The dining area looked comfortable and pleasant."

"I toured The Pointe at Ocean Boulevard. It was great. They have great programs, great staff, you could tell everyone that lives there seemed very happy, so obviously the place promotes all of that, and the people feel at home. They're not in that place just to age there, they feel like they're at a house, and that's the thing that's very important for the elderly. They have a pool, they have exercises, they have movie theaters, they have a library, nothing but amenities and activities, and a calendar so that everyone can be aware of what's happening."

"I toured this facility. The gentleman that showed us around was extremely knowledgeable about the facility. He showed us the available apartments. The place is extremely clean. He stopped some of the people along the way and asked them, how do they like living here so that we could hear what they were saying. We toured the cafeteria area. The food looked appetizing, and it smelled good. The patients' plates were almost empty, and they all raved about the food that was there. They had a lot of activities. The staff assured us that they would check on the residents, and they made us feel very comfortable. The room was like a suite at a fancy hotel. It had a family area where you can watch TV. It had a bedroom, and there was a kitchenette area that had a microwave, a kitchen sink, and a dishwasher. It was like all the elements that you would have in a house to feel comfortable and then you bring your own furniture in there, so it's familiar for the person. The staff showed us three different types of rooms. We didn't want to take the big ones because they're just the two of my in-laws, and they don't have a lot. It's just their recliner chairs, their beds, and their TV. You could bring your own pictures and all that stuff to make it like a home. They have a lot of activities that are available like arts and crafts. They had a big area where they were playing cards. They had things that they wouldn't be bored with. The staff who took us on a tour was very nice."

"The Sovana at Stuart was very nice and very clean. The staff was very professional. The seniors who live there were also very nice. The room was very nice and very updated. It had a lot of updated appliances. The space was enough for me. They don't really have dining. They have events there that, if somebody's coming to speak, they may bring some food, but you're on your own for your food there. They have a cafeteria area, but they don't serve breakfast, lunch, or dinner."

"I liked Arcadia Gardens. It was phenomenal. They have people on site. They have doctors on-site so you can get whatever care that you need right there. I was very impressed by that. No need to go anywhere if they don't want to. I thought the living conditions were phenomenal, very modern, very light, very bright. The staff was very nice. They've got art classes. They've got a fitness center. They've got all kinds of swimming, you know, aerobics type classes. And then you can get a plot of land if you want, and you can garden. That's the only place that they have any kind of ability for my brother to be outside and garden, which is something he would miss. So that was nice to see."

"The employee who met with me and my grandmother was very kind and knowledgeable. The facility is well located in the heart of Palm Beach Gardens behind the Gardens Mall and close to her family. The guide showed us the facility. It is two stories and appears new and well maintained. They has a skilled nursing side and an assisted living section. The building is nicely decorated and well maintained. The staff seemed welcoming and spoke clearly. The food we sampled was good but not amazing. However it was better than other places we have tried. The common rooms were welcoming and the list of activities were appealing. My grandmother is contemplating moving here. "

"La Posada was a retirement home. You had to buy-in or rent. The apartments were very nice. The staff was very courteous and very polite. The facility was very nice and the services were excellent. They had doctors and attendants. They had an exercise room. They had activities and they provided two meals a day. It was a beautiful facility. "

"My mom has been here since February. Their program is much better than the last place she has been. They have a lot of activities, freedom to move around, and go outside, so there's more autonomy for the residents. The facility is very home-like. It's big enough where they have room to roam around. On Mother's day, they had a Tea Party. There's an arts and crafts room, a DJ that comes in three times a week to entertain them, and pet therapy. They also do tours to nowhere, where they get on a bus and just drive around so they can be outside. The residents are not sitting around just doing nothing. There is a lot for them to do. I've been there when she's eating, and the food looks very good too. Now that restrictions of COVID are lessening, it's definitely getting better. With COVID, it was hard because they don't want you interacting with everybody. Out of the many tours we've done, this was the best place we've found."

"Devonshire was an excellent facility and had really nice people. They were very polite and we knew a lot of people who lived there. The accommodation was beautiful. They had all the amenities. We thought it was a delightful community and it was perfect place. "

"Since we would be in West Palm Beach checking out another facility, we made it a point to visit Tradition of Palm Beaches in the same region. The grounds were well tended and we could see that there is plenty of room for residents to spread out and enjoy activities with friends and family, such as picnics, or enjoy the many seating areas. The staff was very friendly and we could see that the residents are all happy there. We liked that they prepare care plans around what each person needs - and that they are flexible enough to change the level of care as becomes necessary. The dining areas were warm and friendly. The meal options looked interesting and the food we saw looked and smelled delicious, as did the snacks. The staff takes the time to offer foods that look appetizing. The fitness center had well maintained equipment and ample rooms. They also had daily classes and residents could safely navigate the lovely grounds with adequate supervision. The common areas were nicely decorated and home-like. There were many places for residents to enjoy a variety of activities, from games to reading and seeing films. We enjoyed our visit at this facility and would recommend that people in the area who are looking for a good home for a loved one consider it as an option. "

"We went to visit a former neighbor at the Christian Manor. My friend's room was nice, but furnished with his own furnishings. It had a nice layout. They have a good location as far as being close to entertainment, like the Travis Center and downtown West Palm Beach. "
