"Feels like a typical government atmosphere, was cold and impersonal. Staff was not sincerely friendly and acted like you were a disturbance to their routine of waiting for the Friday paycheck. My advice, check other nursing and rehab centers before you must place your loved one in this facility. "

"I went to MorseLife in Florida last year before the coronavirus. My visit was very good. I went to the senior living or the independent living and the nursing home. It was beautiful and the people were very nice. The apartments were lovely. The facilities were beautifully appointed and very enticing, and the care was very good. It was very clean. I really didn't have much to do with the staff, but they seemed very caring. The food was excellent."

"They were amazing there Treated my mom with kindness and more attention anywhere else she's ever been. She's been 4 other places and they don't compare to cleanliness and staff here. And she loved food .they even let us sneak her small pup in at nite for a very quick moment to motivate and encourage her. "

"My dad is at Colonial Skilled Nursing Facility. They were very helpful, attentive, and very involved with the residents. The facility is clean, updated on the inside, and has a nice outdoor patio for the residents to sit out while you visit. The staff members are friendly. They seem to know the patients and call me with updates. My dad seems to like the food. Medicare and Medicaid pay for it."

"My sister is at ManorCare Health Services-West Palm Beach. She was under fourteen-day quarantine when she first went in, and then she was transferred to a hospital right at the end of that quarantine. Now they have told us that she has to go into fourteen-day quarantine again. I have not set foot in the facility ever since, but I know that it's been difficult to get information from them about how she's doing, what her condition is, and that sort of thing. It's kind of hit and miss with the staff. Sometimes they're helpful, and sometimes nobody picks up the phone. It gets frustrating because we're trying to get information about how she's doing and how she's progressing. I have not been impressed with the dealings I've had with them. As far as food, she's not been eating much either, and that's been one of the problems I've had with them: they're not making sure that she's eating. There are a whole lot of things going on there, but I do know that in the time that she was there, she was not eating, and when she got to the hospital, they had to put her on an IV just to get some nutrition back in her body."

"Dad is at Courtyard Garden and Rehab Center and I think he is probably going to stay there for now. They have been very helpful and caring for my dad who is suffering from dementia. They seemed to do a good job caring for the elderly who are in the facility. The place is very clean and they do a thorough cleanup of the rooms very routinely. The food is homemade and it is very good. I think they just need to improve on their communication between the family and the patient. "

"the rooms are clean and very comfortable with clean linens and maintenance. the staff creates a very happy atmosphere, friendly caring daily and activities create fun mood for residents and myself a devoted family member for my mom and her new life, I never thought mom could be happy away from home but palm garden and in her case dialysis in house makes for a perfect world to survive her new found ailment wich was a huge lifechanger. movies, bingo, nails and salon, priests and musicians along with birthday celebrations make for a warm home for mom. located in west palm beach near so much to offer in museum, theatres, opera, quiet serene setting I coudnt have chose a better offering community amenities area. the quiet lake at end of driveway is beautiful with downtown buildings in view in distance. the business office and social workers were so greatly helpful for Medicaid applications and guidelines, admissions is so professional and her accommodating hospitality is unbelievably comforting to us! The directors run a very professional business and are always friendly with a smile no matter what time of day! my mother has new friends in her life from enrichment to activities directors to hospitality coordinators to nurses and to cna,s, when I took a tour at outset I was impressed now I am so grateful I did and chose palm garden! thanks to all who devote their energy to keep residents happy and comfortable, one employee has served 30 years of her worklife and that says a lot! others with long tenure are amazing also. "My husband is in Darcy Hall of Life Care. I have a lot of good things to say about it. They have activities and bus trips for the patients and give a great deal of attention to their needs. Their food is pretty good. It is just a very good place. I will recommend it. "

"McKeen Towers is wonderful, the food was the first things that they offered; we had dinner there, and it was very good. My brother has Parkinson’s, he plays pool and other games, and they have a coffee klatch in the afternoon. They go out to lunch, and there were lots of activities. It’s probably one of the most expensive around, but I would say it’s perfect for what he was looking for. The residents seemed very happy and very active, they get dressed for dinner at night, and everybody seems to enjoy that. They have music during dinner; it's very pleasant, and it was a beautiful setting. It’s spotless, everybody seems to be happy, and my brother is happy and comfortable. "

"I find the staff to be friendly, caring, and mostly attentive. I am there almost every day visiting (picking up my father in mid afternoon, bringing him back in early evening). Sometimes I am not completely happy with how to handled something, but overall my father likes it, and we have no desire to move anywhere else. "

"I visit my mother at Consulate Health Care at least three times a week. It’s a great facility. The staff are excellent and very attentive. The rooms are fine. My mom was first brought into rehab and now they’ve moved her into long-term care. She’s doing physical therapy almost every morning. In the afternoons, they have someone who comes in and sings for them. Any events and birthdays they celebrate with a little party in the lobby. If something happens to my mom, such as when she fell trying to get out of her wheelchair, they call me immediately. When my mother broke her hip seven years ago, she came here to recover. My aunt who passed away years ago also stayed here, and she never ever had a problem. I love Consulate. I have no complaints at all. "

"This review is for the purposes of helping anyone considering Coral Bay for Long Term Care. My mother was admitted in December, 2019, so most of her experience has been during the Covid-19 pandemic. Needless to say, in the beginning I was terrified of leaving her in what was classified as a hotspot for the elderly. But I had no choice. So for the longest time, there was no personal connection with my mother, other than a weekly Facetime which I greatly appreciated. A few months ago, they welcomed visits, but under very strict guidelines, which I appreciated if they were to continue to maintain the level of safety the residents required. So now, in March 2021, I can confidently say that I am so grateful and impressed with how they have managed to keep the residents safe and the facility from becoming a notoriously failed system like the one's we have heard of around the country. This is the true test of a nursing home, how well they manage things during a serious pandemic. I can't thank them enough. Are there other areas that can be improved? Yes. But in terms of priority, pandemic safety comes first and they got that right. Thanks to all the staff who have cared for my mother and the top tier of staffing who did their job as well. I have also noticed that all the caregivers that I got to know before the pandemic are still working there, so there does seem to be consistency with staffing which is important at so many levels. "I was taken to Signature Healthcare after having been in the hospital with a stroke a week prior. I was so very weak and could barely stand when I came. The first 4-5 days I struggled to do the exercises that my very patient physical therapist (Dana) gave me. I had significant uncontrolled movement in my right leg as well. Through much encouragement from Dana as well as the other physical therapists, I slowly started to see results. I had physical therapy twice a day and I actually looked forward to them! The therapists are very skilled at what they do, but it is imperative that the patient have a positive attitude in order to succeed in therapy. By the second week I was taking small steps, followed by walking with assistance and later by myself. I’ve come a long way and it’s all thanks to the physical therapy I received while being at Signature Healthcare of Palm Beach!
