"This facility was awesome. My mother stayed here and she loved all of the workers, they were very friendly. She also enjoyed all the activities at the facility, and the different Finnish programs they had. They were also very friendly and helpful when I would call from Michigan to see how she was doing. I would recommend this facility to anyone who is Finnish because most of the staff there speak Finnish and English. Keep up the good work. It's nice to have a facility like yours, assisted living and a nursing home together. My mother is thinking about returning next winter again. "

"I visit my mother at Consulate Health Care at least three times a week. It’s a great facility. The staff are excellent and very attentive. The rooms are fine. My mom was first brought into rehab and now they’ve moved her into long-term care. She’s doing physical therapy almost every morning. In the afternoons, they have someone who comes in and sings for them. Any events and birthdays they celebrate with a little party in the lobby. If something happens to my mom, such as when she fell trying to get out of her wheelchair, they call me immediately. When my mother broke her hip seven years ago, she came here to recover. My aunt who passed away years ago also stayed here, and she never ever had a problem. I love Consulate. I have no complaints at all. "

"It was very clean, and bright. People were smiling during our visit. The place didn't smell, and it was big inside. The nurses who worked there were all busy taking care of the patients, and everybody just seemed happy. They have a nice big area where the residents can go outside and sit. The administrator was also very nice. I was very impressed with the place. They have their menus up on the wall. They have choices that they can pick for what they want. They also have a craft room and a physical therapy room."

"When the doctor evaluated my mom, she said that she needed a nursing facility, so she went to Hamlin Place of Boynton Beach and they really did such a wonderful job. She is now walking with a walker again. The staff are very caring. Mom loves the food there, and she has progressed very well. This is the first place that I have seen her progress in instead of going downhill. She has a room like a hospital room, nothing fancy. When we were there, they had an entertainer who was playing the keyboard. He gave all the residents drums and drumsticks and he sang great. "

"I find the staff to be friendly, caring, and mostly attentive. I am there almost every day visiting (picking up my father in mid afternoon, bringing him back in early evening). Sometimes I am not completely happy with how to handled something, but overall my father likes it, and we have no desire to move anywhere else. "

"The gym and the therapist at Boynton Beach Rehab gym are outstanding. Without them, I don’t even know where she'd be today. When she arrived there, she could not even stand on her own. They had to use that special equipment to stand her up and she walks on her own now. The nursing staff are OK. The office staff could be more tactful, like when they are trying to collect money and stuff like that. The facility is always clean. I would recommend this facility especially for the rehab part. "

"We chose Heartland Health Care Center-Boynton Beach for my husband, because of the proximity of its location to my home, the cleanliness of the place, and the very knowledgeable and energetic staff. They're very caring and they have good communication with me and my husband. I am just very satisfied. I think any nursing home food needs improvement, but he seems to like the food there. He eats everything. They have daily activities and an activities director. They do puzzles, exercise, entertainment, and play games, but it depends on the resident, as far as how much they want to offer the individual, because of the different levels of Alzheimer's. It's the cleanest place I visited and no matter what time of day I go, it's spotless. I've never seen a problem. The other thing that I noticed about that place that no other place could match is there's never an odor. I've never experienced an odor going there, and I did in every other place I've been."

"The care was excellent. The staff was very nice, responsive, and helpful. It is modern, pretty new, and has a nice setting. They have more staff because of the kind of facility it is. She likes the attention she is getting there so that’s why I don’t think the assisted living is much longer because she needs a little bit more than being by herself. They rehab is there twice a day everyday in the morning, and she has physical therapy in the afternoon, occupational therapy to help. They have ice cream socials, and they have speakers in the dining room and living room They have a lot of staff for rehab and are very good for them to get them out of their boredom, and they are forever working with the patients. I would highly recommend them. There are not many activities going on. "

"My husband is in Darcy Hall of Life Care. I have a lot of good things to say about it. They have activities and bus trips for the patients and give a great deal of attention to their needs. Their food is pretty good. It is just a very good place. I will recommend it. "

"My mother was at Palm Garden of West Palm Beach. The nurses and the nurse's aides were very good. The place itself was clean. Overall, we had a pretty good experience there. They served 3 meals a day. They also had church services, birthday parties, and regular get-together type of thing. However, my mother wasn't really involved in much of them because she had a difficult time getting around. But they set up activities in her room like puzzles, games, TV shows, and movies. Food was fabulous. The staff was very helpful but a little understaffed especially in the evening. They're a little short-staffed, but it wasn't that terrible. My recommendation for them is better communication with the family as it was difficult for me to get in touch with people in charge. However, the therapist in the physical therapy area was top-notch. The therapy was great."

"While searching for a place for my friend's mother to live, we visited the Lourdes Pavilion assisted living facility. The West Palm Beach region is a favorite of the family. We really liked the well-kept park setting because the outdoors have always been a big part of my friend's mother's life. The waterfront views were also very beautiful and comforting. The types of cultural outings and events offered suit her well. Seniors are treated to everything that the area has to offer, from beautiful beaches to fine and casual dining and many entertainment venues. A variety of fresh, healthy foods are offered and suit all dietary needs. We could see that the food was exceptionally well prepared and appetizing. Snacks are available all day every day. The rooms are all nicely sized and decorated. The staff and management are very accommodating and eager to make the residents and visiting families comfortable. Those who were not ambulatory seemed well-cared for. The residents are encouraged to enjoy physical activity as much as possible. They may take exercise classes such as yoga and aerobics, or use the weight training and other equipment. Every resident appeared to be very well cared for in a peaceful, yet fun environment by kind, caring and attentive staff. "
