"I'm in Emmanuel Care Assisted Living facility. I just have my own room, and there are six rooms. It's a house. I like that it's in a neighborhood. You can walk and it's about a mile to the grocery store and other shops and to church walking, so I don't need a car. They have three meals a day. They do laundry, and they clean the room once a week. They allow me to smoke out of the veranda outside. They could provide extra care if I needed it. The staff is friendly. Cleanliness and upkeep are good. I have food here and it's better than some and it varies from day to day. Sometimes, they're like a four, and some days, it's more like a three or a two for food. We can play cards and they play bingo occasionally, but most of the activity is watching TV."

"My mom is currently staying at MorseLife. It was excellent. Her stay was good, and I think the care was good. It's a beautiful facility, new, clean, and friendly. So I think she's as happy there as she can be. When you have to visit, you have to make an appointment for certain time slots. They're pretty flexible. I mean, if you're 30 minutes early or if you stay as late as you want. But I think the idea is not everybody coming in at once. The room she's staying at was a private room, air-conditioned, had a view outside with plants and stuff, a pretty nice view of a garden, and had a private bathroom. She had a TV with lots of channels, even ESPN. We're using Medicare. As far as price, it's quite expensive."

"My mother was raised in Jamaica, and Beeva Place has Jamaican staff and cook Jamaican food. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and very dedicated. They take them for walks, and they play games and puzzles. The dining room is good, and it is located in a very nice area. Two main hospitals are only 10 minutes away, and I certainly would recommend the facility. "

"We chose Heartland Health Care Center-Boynton Beach for my husband, because of the proximity of its location to my home, the cleanliness of the place, and the very knowledgeable and energetic staff. They're very caring and they have good communication with me and my husband. I am just very satisfied. I think any nursing home food needs improvement, but he seems to like the food there. He eats everything. They have daily activities and an activities director. They do puzzles, exercise, entertainment, and play games, but it depends on the resident, as far as how much they want to offer the individual, because of the different levels of Alzheimer's. It's the cleanest place I visited and no matter what time of day I go, it's spotless. I've never seen a problem. The other thing that I noticed about that place that no other place could match is there's never an odor. I've never experienced an odor going there, and I did in every other place I've been."
