Adult Day Care Communities in Boynton Beach, FL

"The picture that this center has to denote its care is sooo misleading. As I approached the building it has absolutely no curb appeal and no windows. Ok, I thought don't judge a book by its cover. I rang a bell to enter. About 2 mins later someone answered the door. After I told them I was there for a tour they curtly asked me if I had and appt. I waited another 5 mins for the program director to give me a tour. In the meantime I could see the seniors just sitting at long tables,nothing in front of them, with no smiles or conversation. The director, Darlene, came and greeted me. She was extremely friendly and knowledgeable or at least knew what to say that would sell her program. We walked by the 'particpants' no body was engaged in anything, some were falling asleep right in their chair. Darlene took me for tour of the facilty which included one large room and other smaller area with a pool table. It was not a clean facility with quite a few hazards such as exposed light bulbs, multi-level floors that were not indicated and area rugs. They were extremely inexpensive compared to the other centers I visited. But, in this case you get what you pay for. Go visit for yourself, but I would definitely NOT recommend this center to anyone!!! "

"I will be moving into Margate Assisted Living. It is a nice place. The people there look like they are professional and knowledgeable. They just welcome you. The rooms are very clean, and they remodeled all the rooms. They've done the floors, the bathrooms, and the blinds. Everything looks brand new. The rooms are very big. You could put a king-sized bed and it could fit 2 people in there. They have bingo, bowling, a library, painting, jewelry making, music, a theater, games, and you could do a lot of things outside. The atmosphere there is very warm. They have music on the piano. They also have a showroom where people come and sell one day a week. You can buy anything you like - clothes and jewelry."

"My husband went here for over a year. He is now in a memory care assisted living center. He loved going to Sarahcare and I loved everything about it. Lewis, the owner, is the nicest person you will ever meet. The entire staff is wonderful. It is clean,the people are taken care of so well, it is like family. I would love to take him out of assisted living and bring him home and back to Sarahcare and have an aid help me at home. I am trying to work out a way to do this. wonderful people, wonderful care. happy place "

"Dear Peggy: Just had to write to let you know how ecstatic I am that my mom, Belle, is one of your clients. I have noticed such a difference in her demeanor and her mental status in just the two week she has been in your care. She looks forward to going to Amazing Age every day and misses you on the weekends. You go out of your way to engage her in different activities, make sure she eats, and take care of her personal needs. Your facility has so much to offer any person that requires day care, whatever their mental status. As you know my mom has moderate Alzheimer's and prior coming to you had attended three day care facilities and one assisted living facility. All they did for her was sit her in front of a TV, if she did not eat, so be it. With all of them, her mental state and physical state had deteriorated greatly so much that she lost 6 pounds and for an 80 lb person that is a great deal. She hardly spoke and did not participate in the very little choices that were there for her or the other clients. Now, she has started to eat again, learned some of the games such as cards, is engaged in arts and crafts, gardening, some computer, puzzles, light exercise and much, much more, she is always busy. She loves the shower she gets and it is no more a chore to get her to take one. I could go on and on, I cannot say enough how wonderful you and your staff are. There is so much to do and see at Amazing Age. There is something for everyone with any interest so I'm sure my mom will be kept busy and engaged for a very long time. "Great Place for our parents, it's clean. Has didactic games. Has time to do crafts . It provides transportation, snack and lunch. The attention from the staff is excellent and the owners are very responsible with the business. Is the best place to entrust our most precious treasure, THE FAMILY. And are bilingual!!!!!!!!!!! "

"Me and my mom visited Blue Sky a new Adult Day Care in North Lauderdale. It was very clean and the staff treated us like family on our visit. My mom will be starting soon and the best part is the Medicaid is covering almost all of the cost. Thanks for all of the help this process was a breeze."
