Nurses, CNA s ,Therapists, Dietary workers, Social Service workers, Admissions Department, Housekeeping, Finance Department, Maintenance workers, Receptionists and Administrators,Every singe one gave him the best care you can imagine.... "My grandmother recuperated in this center after falling and breaking her leg in November 2006. Overall, her experience was quite positive (apart from the unavoidable homesickness). A couple of years ago, my grandfather stayed here for about a week to give his caregiver (my mother) a break. His experience was also satisfactory, although there were some complications that were probably nobody's fault (he choked on some rice because we were unaware of his swallowing problems). My grandmother made a friend while staying here, and has continued the relationship to this day (we see this friend weekly). My mother began a small Bible study at the center in 2007 and has continued it for several years. So we are acquainted with several residents and staff, and overall have been impressed that a high standard of care and cleanliness is maintained. "

"Feels like a typical government atmosphere, was cold and impersonal. Staff was not sincerely friendly and acted like you were a disturbance to their routine of waiting for the Friday paycheck. My advice, check other nursing and rehab centers before you must place your loved one in this facility. "

"The facility was very clean and nice in decor except in the Alzheimer's unit it was more depressing. The staff were amazing constantly helping and really befriending the patients there. The out door grounds were fairly smaller than would have been desired.They needed to take the patients out more because they tended to get depressed. I noticed that the longer my grandfather was there the sadder he got and passed away. The staff did really nice things for all of the patients birthdays and special occasions. For my grandparents anniversary they made them a cake to celebrate. The help a lot with the patients dietary needs to make the food not only good for them but good tasting as well.s well the security needed to be a little tighter especially with the more dangerous patients. The one lady tried to stab someone and she kept stealing the other patients personal items. Over all the facility has very nice well trained staff that takes very good care of their patients. "

"I think that this may have been one of the better facilities for elder adults that my mother has been too. Although there are many places located in this area of Florida, we decided to use Morse. I took a tour of the facilities, which were rather large and accommodating, and felt that my mother was right at home here. The food was good compared to the other places that she has been to, with the lunch being the best meal there. Aside from the tour that I took before choosing this facility for my mother go to, I found it was extremely easy for me and my family to go and visit her almost any time of the day or year. I really would recommend this facility because my mother and I enjoyed it greatly and we would definitely use it again. I believe anyone looking for a facility like this should look no further. "

"My dad is at Colonial Skilled Nursing Facility. They were very helpful, attentive, and very involved with the residents. The facility is clean, updated on the inside, and has a nice outdoor patio for the residents to sit out while you visit. The staff members are friendly. They seem to know the patients and call me with updates. My dad seems to like the food. Medicare and Medicaid pay for it."

"My sister is at ManorCare Health Services-West Palm Beach. She was under fourteen-day quarantine when she first went in, and then she was transferred to a hospital right at the end of that quarantine. Now they have told us that she has to go into fourteen-day quarantine again. I have not set foot in the facility ever since, but I know that it's been difficult to get information from them about how she's doing, what her condition is, and that sort of thing. It's kind of hit and miss with the staff. Sometimes they're helpful, and sometimes nobody picks up the phone. It gets frustrating because we're trying to get information about how she's doing and how she's progressing. I have not been impressed with the dealings I've had with them. As far as food, she's not been eating much either, and that's been one of the problems I've had with them: they're not making sure that she's eating. There are a whole lot of things going on there, but I do know that in the time that she was there, she was not eating, and when she got to the hospital, they had to put her on an IV just to get some nutrition back in her body."

"the rooms are clean and very comfortable with clean linens and maintenance. the staff creates a very happy atmosphere, friendly caring daily and activities create fun mood for residents and myself a devoted family member for my mom and her new life, I never thought mom could be happy away from home but palm garden and in her case dialysis in house makes for a perfect world to survive her new found ailment wich was a huge lifechanger. movies, bingo, nails and salon, priests and musicians along with birthday celebrations make for a warm home for mom. located in west palm beach near so much to offer in museum, theatres, opera, quiet serene setting I coudnt have chose a better offering community amenities area. the quiet lake at end of driveway is beautiful with downtown buildings in view in distance. the business office and social workers were so greatly helpful for Medicaid applications and guidelines, admissions is so professional and her accommodating hospitality is unbelievably comforting to us! The directors run a very professional business and are always friendly with a smile no matter what time of day! my mother has new friends in her life from enrichment to activities directors to hospitality coordinators to nurses and to cna,s, when I took a tour at outset I was impressed now I am so grateful I did and chose palm garden! thanks to all who devote their energy to keep residents happy and comfortable, one employee has served 30 years of her worklife and that says a lot! others with long tenure are amazing also. "My husband is in Darcy Hall of Life Care. I have a lot of good things to say about it. They have activities and bus trips for the patients and give a great deal of attention to their needs. Their food is pretty good. It is just a very good place. I will recommend it. "

"McKeen Towers is wonderful, the food was the first things that they offered; we had dinner there, and it was very good. My brother has Parkinson’s, he plays pool and other games, and they have a coffee klatch in the afternoon. They go out to lunch, and there were lots of activities. It’s probably one of the most expensive around, but I would say it’s perfect for what he was looking for. The residents seemed very happy and very active, they get dressed for dinner at night, and everybody seems to enjoy that. They have music during dinner; it's very pleasant, and it was a beautiful setting. It’s spotless, everybody seems to be happy, and my brother is happy and comfortable. "

"Mom fell, broke her hip and went into Salerno Bay. They had people there that cared for the people. She got good care medically and the staff was very good. They were understanding and sweet and they were changing mom. She is doing good now. Everything was good about them except the food. The food was terrible but they had some really good biscuits. "

"My mother was in this facility for 2 1/2 weeks for rehab. They took great care of her. The nurses are very helpful and respond quickly to the call button. Her room was cleaned daily. She received PT twice daily and had very clear goals that she knew she had to work towards. Everyone there was looking out for her best interests."

"My husband is at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital, an affiliate of Martin Health. He was there once before just this year and he improved a lot. It's not so easy to get in there, but it's got a tremendous and wonderful staff. Their rehab is very intensive and I would recommend them. They work multiple hours a day, 3 to 4 hours, with their residents. They're top of the list as far as being helpful. It's a lovely facility. It's very clean and they are just very attentive and very skilled. They do miracles. They really do. The food is great, too. Everything is top-of-the-line."
