"Feels like a typical government atmosphere, was cold and impersonal. Staff was not sincerely friendly and acted like you were a disturbance to their routine of waiting for the Friday paycheck. My advice, check other nursing and rehab centers before you must place your loved one in this facility. "

"My father was a patient at The Manors. I chose it for a couple of reasons. First, it was a locked unit and because my father had Alzheimer's, I had to have him in a locked facility, otherwise he would wander. Secondly was the cost. Their cost was probably the most competitive that I found for a nursing home care. "

"My mom is currently staying at MorseLife. It was excellent. Her stay was good, and I think the care was good. It's a beautiful facility, new, clean, and friendly. So I think she's as happy there as she can be. When you have to visit, you have to make an appointment for certain time slots. They're pretty flexible. I mean, if you're 30 minutes early or if you stay as late as you want. But I think the idea is not everybody coming in at once. The room she's staying at was a private room, air-conditioned, had a view outside with plants and stuff, a pretty nice view of a garden, and had a private bathroom. She had a TV with lots of channels, even ESPN. We're using Medicare. As far as price, it's quite expensive."

"My dad is at Colonial Skilled Nursing Facility. They were very helpful, attentive, and very involved with the residents. The facility is clean, updated on the inside, and has a nice outdoor patio for the residents to sit out while you visit. The staff members are friendly. They seem to know the patients and call me with updates. My dad seems to like the food. Medicare and Medicaid pay for it."

"My sister is at ManorCare Health Services-West Palm Beach. She was under fourteen-day quarantine when she first went in, and then she was transferred to a hospital right at the end of that quarantine. Now they have told us that she has to go into fourteen-day quarantine again. I have not set foot in the facility ever since, but I know that it's been difficult to get information from them about how she's doing, what her condition is, and that sort of thing. It's kind of hit and miss with the staff. Sometimes they're helpful, and sometimes nobody picks up the phone. It gets frustrating because we're trying to get information about how she's doing and how she's progressing. I have not been impressed with the dealings I've had with them. As far as food, she's not been eating much either, and that's been one of the problems I've had with them: they're not making sure that she's eating. There are a whole lot of things going on there, but I do know that in the time that she was there, she was not eating, and when she got to the hospital, they had to put her on an IV just to get some nutrition back in her body."

"the rooms are clean and very comfortable with clean linens and maintenance. the staff creates a very happy atmosphere, friendly caring daily and activities create fun mood for residents and myself a devoted family member for my mom and her new life, I never thought mom could be happy away from home but palm garden and in her case dialysis in house makes for a perfect world to survive her new found ailment wich was a huge lifechanger. movies, bingo, nails and salon, priests and musicians along with birthday celebrations make for a warm home for mom. located in west palm beach near so much to offer in museum, theatres, opera, quiet serene setting I coudnt have chose a better offering community amenities area. the quiet lake at end of driveway is beautiful with downtown buildings in view in distance. the business office and social workers were so greatly helpful for Medicaid applications and guidelines, admissions is so professional and her accommodating hospitality is unbelievably comforting to us! The directors run a very professional business and are always friendly with a smile no matter what time of day! my mother has new friends in her life from enrichment to activities directors to hospitality coordinators to nurses and to cna,s, when I took a tour at outset I was impressed now I am so grateful I did and chose palm garden! thanks to all who devote their energy to keep residents happy and comfortable, one employee has served 30 years of her worklife and that says a lot! others with long tenure are amazing also. "I was not happy about being sent to the Rehab wing in a nursing home, after having lived in one for four years a while back. However, Salerno Bay is not your typical facility. All staff take an interest in you and your care. Everyone, no matter what department, would answer your call bell and ask how they could assist you. The CNAs treated me and my roommate as if we were their family members, in the way they bathed and dressed us, to delivering our meals. Speaking of the meals, they were definitely not the usual institutional fare. The food was seasoned well and served in small, but sufficient sizes, to help us lose or maintain our weight. I liked the way we were offered a variety of desserts, just in a much smaller portion. The nurses were compassionate and organized, always making sure we understood our medications. The activities director came by our room and delivered a calendar of upcoming events and encouraging us to take part. The social worker came in to introduce herself and offered to answer any questions in her area that we might have. The therapy departments that I worked with, physical and occupational, were determined that we would meet our goals and would go home much more able to handle our daily activities when we got there. They pushed us and encouraged us until we met our daily goals. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who needs rehab for themselves or a family member. I would gladly return if I needed rehab again, or even long term care."

"I took a tour everywhere, and they were very helpful. The rooms were big with two beds and you can decorate your side however you want and can do whatever you want. "

"My husband is at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital, an affiliate of Martin Health. He was there once before just this year and he improved a lot. It's not so easy to get in there, but it's got a tremendous and wonderful staff. Their rehab is very intensive and I would recommend them. They work multiple hours a day, 3 to 4 hours, with their residents. They're top of the list as far as being helpful. It's a lovely facility. It's very clean and they are just very attentive and very skilled. They do miracles. They really do. The food is great, too. Everything is top-of-the-line."

"My experience with a loved one here was extremely positive. The staff here makes you feel very welcomed and like family. The food was very good too! My understanding is they are under new ownership now, they are renovating the building and the new administrator is doing a great job. I would definitely recommend this nursing home!"
