"Westmont of Cypress is brand new. At the time that I went there, only about 50+ people were living there, and I think they could handle a little over 100. So, a lot of the activities haven't started yet, because there weren't enough people to go with some of this stuff, but they have meeting places for them such as the theater and a bar area. I went with two friends and we were invited for lunch, which was lovely. It's a restaurant-style dining with open seating and a huge menu. The food was delicious and the staff was very, very pleasant. The apartment was a little bit bigger and it's kind of nice and all spanking new."

"I like Rowntree Gardens. It is very good. I like the concept. They have shared rooms, which are nice. Also the sliding door to the garden is nice. The dining area is very accessible to the patients. I like that, too. I like the lady who gave me the tour. Each room is accessible to the garden, they just have a walking area. It's very relaxing for the clients. They have a gazebo garden there. Families can visit in that area, too. The building is one level, so that's nice. I didn't see any staff because of the COVID."

"I like the people's attitude the most at Capriana. They are happy and cheerful and everybody is there to help. They have studio apartments up to two bedrooms which can depend on your needs. The dining setup is very good. They got a theater there, an exercise room, and a pool. Just the other day they had a fashion show. They got all kinds of hobbies and all kinds of games. It is secured inside and outside. It is secured on the retirement community on the outside and even secured on the walkways. "

"My aunt and uncle moved to Bayshire Yorba Linda. They can accommodate a lot of things. The grounds are kept clean and the atmosphere is very inviting. It was very spacious. It didn't seem like everything was kind of crammed in. The people that we met there were very helpful and very kind. We haven't run into any problems as far as helping my aunt and uncle. The food is very good. My uncle is not as social as my aunt. Even within memory care, they have a lot of activities to stimulate their brain, and to keep them busy. We've been very happy with the available activities. The value of memory care is awesome. It's pretty reasonable."

"We went to Bay Towers at Bixby Knolls. We loved it, but the price was too high for us. But it was so clean and so nice. It's a beautiful facility. Everything was well-kept. I liked that the floors were clean, and the rooms were maintained. It was a nice community, but it was too independent from my father-in-law. The dining room was beautiful. They had a nice table and nice chairs. It's also like their social room. It was very clean. They had a nice garden. The staff who gave the tour was very nice and very informative. The doors in the rooms were very wide and each room had a different doorknob like a bird, an anchor, or a butterfly. So they customized them for the residents. We wish my father-in-law could have done that, but he's beyond that level of independence. He needs more assistance."

"Park Plaza just had my mother-in-law written all over it. It's very jazzy, upbeat, positive, very clean, and roomy. We just knew she'd like it. They have showering assistance, taking down the bed assistance, all kinds of activities from religious, to card playing, to exercise, a dining room, a courtyard, and on-call assisted nurses. "

"It is a very nice place, and it's very clean, modern, and upgraded. The staff is very nice, the dining room is huge, and the rooms that they have -- even the studios -- are good sizes. It was elegant. I would recommend it to anyone. "

"I'll be moving into The Meridian at Anaheim Hills this weekend. I saw the rooms, but I think they're a little pricey. They have an ice cream parlor and a pizzeria. They showed us the gym but nobody was there. The staff was very informative."

"What I love about Park View Place is that it's super new. It's only two years old. And it's very clean. The staff was very good. They gave us a tour of everything. Everything was super clean. I like their setup on how they do things. Instead of calling it a cafeteria, they call it the restaurant and it's open from 7 to 7, so the residents can go in at any time. There's not a schedule like what my mom had at the other assisted living where she was. And I like that part of it a lot. It's open 12 hours. And you can order whatever you want. Just because it's breakfast, doesn't mean you have to have breakfast. You have lots of options and people just go in and out as they please. It's very elegant looking. The staff who gave the tour was very personable. He was awesome. He was very good. He showed us everything. Even though we said we were only interested in a studio, he gave us the option to look at everything they had, so we could choose from that, and that's what we did. He took us everywhere and explained as we went. It was a very good tour. Regarding food, the day we went there, they had duck and my mom loves duck."

"My mom is here. She has only been there a few weeks. The people that work there seem very helpful and very nice. My mom seems to like it. They do Bible studies and exercising. She has gone to bingo. She has a pretty good size room. "

"We have moved my wife’s parents in Hollenbeck Palms this week. I like it for the fact that it is continuing care. They have three facilities, and I like them. It is gorgeous. It is very well-staffed. The caregivers and every aspect of the staff that we have encountered were great. We have tasted the food, and it was excellent. They have multiple choices in every meal. They have 3 or 4 different activities every day like memory work, tai chi classes, walking club, music events, movies, and ice cream parlor. They have a chapel, and they have Christian and Catholic services. "

"While evaluating Sakura, Shin and Daniel made my mom and myself feel very comfortable that she would be well cared for. There was transparency and all our questions answered honestly. After being there for about a month, she confirmed that our trust was well founded. She is enjoying her stay and feels part of the community."

"They were very nice here. I really like their friendliness. The rooms were of good size. The personal laundry was included in the services they offer. They had lots of different activities like crafts and movie nights. They also had exercise groups. "

"My mom is in here. The staff is great and very helpful. So far, everything's been going really well. The place is clean as a whistle, no foul odors, and absolutely as good as it gets. You can order what you want, and the food is pretty good like in a restaurant. They have all kinds of activities, from day trips, to taking you to the market and assisting you with your needs. Everybody's friendly and they seem to be going out of their way to make it the best experience for my mother. It's a great place to live."
