La Mirada Heights

La Mirada Heights was very nice. It reminded me of a nice hotel. The people were very friendly and very kind. The residents there were very nice, too. I like it. It was a nice location, and the whole building was beautiful and new-looking. They had more care than we wanted. They serve three meals a day in their cafeteria, which is wonderful if you don't want to cook. It is a little more expensive than what we want, so we have to figure out how to come up with more money. The units were nicely renovated. I like the friendliness and the professionalism of the people who work there. They followed up, and they quoted the price, but it's kind of out of our price range. I wish they didn't have so much service there. My brother could have lived there if they didn't have three meals a day in the cafeteria. I don't think he can eat that much anyway. The staff was friendly. They greeted you with pleasant enthusiasm. I admired them immediately. The layout was very nice. They had outdoor areas where you could sit in the garden. They had a library setting, too. I also like the layout. You can go out of your room, and there are a lot of areas in the lobby where you can just sit and watch the people go by. They have a nice parking lot. It reminded me of a fine hotel.

There wasn't that much going on there at La Mirada Heights. When you walk in, there are people in wheelchairs, walkers, and stuff like that. The hallways were kind of drab, I thought. The rooms were all right. They're not anything special, but they were nice rooms. I was kind of turned off by it when I went, and I just decided I'm not going to come here. The lady who took care of me was wonderful. She was excellent. The facility itself was older. They had redone a lot of stuff. It had been updated a whole lot. I think they have three meals a day.

La Mirada Heights was very nice. The place was very big and very pleasant. It was very clean, and there were no odors or anything like that. It was very well-kept. I didn't really experience it in terms of eating or anything, but the dining area was very nice. The staff was very nice and pleasant. The place also had a library and a gym.

I toured La Mirada Heights. I fell in love with that location. I even want to live there. I even met, I don't know if it was the cleaning lady or the kitchen lady. They speak our language because we speak Spanish. That's our main first language. They came up to us while we were waiting for the person who was going to give us the tour. They were hanging out with us, talking to us and letting us know how everything worked, and hoping my father would choose their place. I told him that my concern was the price range. I was looking for something affordable because we didn't have much to work with. So, based on that, he showed me the lower end of their price range. So, the room was small, but it worked perfectly for what was needed, which was just a place to sleep. Other than that, the place was very clean. I love that place very, very much.
