"I liked Westmont of Riverside a lot, but it was very huge for my sister. She probably would be better off with a smaller facility. I saw a cafeteria. I saw two studios. I saw their entrance, and basically we walked from the entrance to a wing, which was a good distance. They're set up to where people are a good distance from administration, which I wasn't really happy with. If my sister were to be there and she needed administrative business to be conducted, it would be very difficult for her to get there. It was quite clean. There seemed to be the occasional attendant in each wing, but I didn't see a lot of people milling about. It was nice to see that it was not too crowded, but on the same token it was also disconcerting that people were so far apart from help. The staff member was conscientious, and I connected well with them. She was quite friendly with the help, and courteous with the clients. I would still give them a very high score because they are a premium facility. They are selective in their clientele. They explained that people needing more than one person in attendance were not good applicants. My sister is not a good applicant, not that she needed more than one attendant at a time, but because she needed an attendant to get her up. That would mean someone would have to be with her, and that's not something that they're geared to do."

"My father will be moving into Holiday Golden Oaks. They're friendly and they're going to meet all his needs, hopefully. So far, so good. It was in his price range. His room accommodates all his needs. The bathroom is nice, the living room is nice, and the kitchenette is good, so all of his items in here fit well. It's nice and clean. They have a gym, a salon, activities, a dining room, and events."

"We placed my aunt in Ivy Park at Murrieta, and they are awesome. Their memory care facility has outstanding staff. They are very empathetic and hands-on. We just love it, and the place is amazing. We chose it for her because of its cleanliness, the bright and friendly atmosphere, and the amazing staff. We had lunch there during our first meeting. Their cookies are amazing, and the dessert's great. I've also seen everything they've cooked for my aunt, and it's amazing. It's like being on a cruise ship. I think the value for money is really good, considering the amount of care she receives from the place. Everything is also included, so I think that's wonderful. Even the activities are awesome. They keep the residents busy and out of their rooms. They do exercises, games, and other activities. They plan holidays, we've even taken pictures, and there were tea parties."

"I toured Renaissance Village Murrieta, and Maria gave me the tour. I would have considered it, but the cost and location weren't as nice as the other one I had. The rooms were very nice. Everything about Renaissance Village was nice. It's a new building, and they told me when it was built."

"We visited Mission Commons in Redlands. I like the grounds and the way it looks. The level of care was different, too, and we liked that. It seemed like it was more independent living, and then we could bring in our own people. It's more expensive to do that, but they had more options. They are in the process of updating the place. I'm not sure if it's changed since we were there, but they were not licensed for assisted living so they had separate apartments that the residents could rent and would include the meals, but they would provide their own care. For instance, if my father needed dementia care, he could hire somebody to come in and do that."

"Everybody at Holiday Chateau At Harveston is very, very friendly. The workers here always have a smile on their face and they greet you in the hallways. There are a lot of people that have walkers like I do, but we still can independently get around and do things. The meals are very nicely done. They have a good chef and good cooks. If you have any requests about how you would like things to be cooked, they will do their best to do that for you. They have just taken a lot of pressure off, knowing they are taking care of me. They clean my room every week. I have to do my own laundry, though. I could pay extra to have it, but I'm able to do it myself. My room is right next to the laundry. So, it's more convenient for me than it is maybe for some other people. I wound up with a very nice studio, one of the larger ones that they have, because I don't use a bed, I use a recliner to sleep in. So, it feels very spacious. It has about 500 square feet, which is quite spacious for a studio. I was able to bring my cat, which was very important. They have meetings where you can meet the workers, like the chef, as an example. If you have anything you want to say or ask about, they will thoroughly explain it or fix it, if it's a problem. So, you have a chance to say something. They have resident meetings where you can do the same thing. They're very open to listening to anything you have to say if you want something improved. Somebody mentioned they would like music in the dining room, and within two days, they had it going. It was just quiet music for our meals. So, they're doing everything they can to make it pleasant for everybody. They share the work, too. They may be cleaning your room, but then at mealtimes, they're also your waitress or waiter. They work hard and they're very good at both jobs that they do. They're very pleasant, they're in uniforms, and I haven't had a problem with anybody. They had just recently repainted and updated all of the inside. As of this week, they just completely painted the entire outside, and my patio takes three different colors and they only just finished doing it. So, I don't know what else they could do to make it better. I was able to come in with a good discount because I came in at the end of the month, which I think is typical of most units or facilities (if you rent, they give you discounts further into the month). It is the best price I could find anywhere. The salesperson was able to adjust the rent and I was also waiting for the VA to come through, so that helped."

"I was surprised at the size of the rooms. The menu looked delicious and to know if you don’t care for the 2 entrees you do have the choice of hamburgers and sandwiches. Steve M. was full of information and thorough. He answered every question we asked. The staff was friendly."

"I toured The Grove Assisted Living. The environment and the people are very nice. They have a gym. The bathroom was maybe too small. When I go in, it will be difficult for me to turn around because I have a power chair. They don't have a rolling shower. So they have to change it if I need something like that."

"I toured Citrus Place. It looks very well organized and clean. You could tell that the people there really care for their residents. The apartment looked very nice and comfortable. They schedule tours, and they have activities for the residents."

"My father is enjoying his time here. He appreciates the staff and they're all very kind and helpful. The facility has everything he needs and he enjoys the library. The rooms are large and a good size. His room didn't come furnished, so we had to bring stuff in, which was nice because we got to get him exactly what would work for him. It's more of an apartment. They have two large dining rooms so they can accommodate all the residents at the same time. They have a library."

"Estancia del Sol has been a wonderful place for my loved one. The staff is kind, attentive, and genuinely compassionate. The community is clean, beautifully maintained, and offers great amenities like a movie theater, garden areas, beauty salon and activities that keep residents engaged. Knowing my family member is safe, supported, and happy here gives me real peace of mind. Highly recommend!"

"I visited.It's an assisted living place and overall it was fine for me especially because they had an enclosed little dog park. The place was beautiful. The person who assisted me during the tour was wonderful. He was very good with follow-through and was very personable. I also observed that they have a very friendly staff."

"Corona RCFE was very nice, and the people were very friendly. The grounds were good. The room is perfect for my mother who is 92. She just needs a room with a little bed, a chair, and a TV. That's all she needs. It looks like she can go out and go to the dining room area, and things like that, and they have those things available too. The staff who helped me was very friendly and answered all the questions. She was very good. I didn't sample the food, but the dining area was fine. For activities, they have a little room where people can go and they can meet with each other and play games and so on, so that's fine."
