They have different activity coordinators and directors. We have one lady for exercise and another activity director who coordinates tours and things like that. We have an excellent chef, and the food is great. I really love it here. "

"I went to visit Mission Commons and it went fine. The staff was very helpful. The rooms are very nice. "

"My mother-in-law is living in The Chateau At Harveston, and it is a nice place. We had a few issues on them not keeping her room clean but now they're more attentive. Now they clean once a week and they do laundry service, but we pay for it. She has a really nice, full one-bedroom, and everything is very clean, neat, and very well-kept. They have Bible studies, a game room with puzzles, exercise, and they celebrate people's birthdays. The staff is very good. They have a beauty shop. My mother-in-law has had her hair done there, and they do a good job."

"Atria Park of Vintage Hills was fine, but it was too far away traffic-wise for me to get to it on a daily basis, and it also seemed older and more expensive. The staff member showed us around the majority of the place and the three different apartments within the range looked well-kept. A couple of the places were not really resident-friendly in terms of wheelchairs. The residents had to go around corners to get to their rooms. The rooms were smaller, darker, and the concept was somewhat difficult for me to take in. It was fine, but it did cost more. The people who lived there were friendly. The staff was very nice, kind, and informative. It just needs to be modernized a bit."

One time I had an appointment and the second time I just took my mom without an appointment, and they were still able to show me around. It was just a quick visit, and they met my standards."

"What I like best about Citrus Place is that it is homey. It's a little bit more modern than the other facility, but it wasn't so much that we felt out of place. I was glad that right across the way they had the memory living facility just in case it ever got to that point, so it was very conveniently close by. The staff members were always very happy and smiling. The facility was very clean. I like the layout. The layout seemed a lot easier to get around. The residents were singing and participating."

They discuss various activities during the week and they have a monthly schedule on the wall so everybody may be aware of it. "

"Corona RCFE was very nice, and the people were very friendly. The grounds were good. The room is perfect for my mother who is 92. She just needs a room with a little bed, a chair, and a TV. That's all she needs. It looks like she can go out and go to the dining room area, and things like that, and they have those things available too. The staff who helped me was very friendly and answered all the questions. She was very good. I didn't sample the food, but the dining area was fine. For activities, they have a little room where people can go and they can meet with each other and play games and so on, so that's fine."
