My father has moved into Mission Commons. They've got very friendly, knowledgeable, and very caring staff. I feel like he's in good hands and safe. He's only been there a little bit now, but he's happy with the food. He has a one-bedroom and it's very spacious, very clean, and there are lots of light, which I thought was important. The bathroom is a very good size for one person with a wheelchair, and very accessible. They have like a cafe setting, they have a common area where they have people come in and sing, and they have a jazz band come in, or they have movies that they show. It's a very comfortable setting for socializing. He seems to really enjoy them. He has a patio. He has his own personal space for outside. They have a lot of walking trails around the property. They have a van and they also have an SUV, so they can take large groups with wheelchairs, or they can just take individuals to shopping and to a doctor's appointment. They have the third-party care that's available, and they're very caring and highly trained.

Mission Commons was beautiful. I love it. The rooms are just the right size. The room that was currently available ahead of you is out towards the dumpsters. So I didn't think that was nice, but it wasn't bad. They said they're not always there. The facility was very clean. It smelled clean, not like freshly cleaned, but just naturally clean. The few employees that I got to see were always smiling, so that was nice. The atmosphere was homey and welcoming. The decor wasn't so modern that I felt out of place and it wasn't so traditional either. It was comfortable.

What my friend liked about Mission Commons was that everyone was very friendly and welcoming. She liked the facility when we toured it. She felt it was well laid out and that the apartments were very open and airy. She liked the on-site facilities such as the salon, the fitness room, the Jacuzzi, and the gardens. So, she liked that Mission Commons didn't seem to be as institutional as the other places. We both tried the food twice and it was very good. The service in the dining area was very accommodating and pleasant. The staff was friendly and positive but to me, the important thing was they weren't condescending. They treated her very professionally. There's a care team. I think one of the things she liked about it is that the facility calls itself independent living but then you can pick and choose a level of care through a third-party team. She liked that. It made her feel less like a patient and more like a resident.

Everyone was pretty happy at Mission Commons. I saw a lot of residents out and about. The grounds were very beautiful. The staff was great. It felt like a vacation. The apartments were comfortable. You're able to bring in your own furniture, which I thought was nice. The view that I saw from the room was beautiful as well. It seemed like there was enough space for everything. There's a kitchenette in there so that you can put it in your own microwave. It was nice. The dining area was restaurant-style; you get to order from the menu. They have a snack area where you can pick everything up. And they were having a taco night that they invited me to, but I just couldn't get off of work for it.

I toured here. It's very clean and nice. A few staff that we ran into were personable but the least of all it was a very large facility. For me and my sister, we both don't do well in large but it wasn't bad. If I'm in the facility, everything seems to be there that anyone would need. They were divided into two or three buildings. Not everyone was in the same building but there was still a very large facility. We passed the beauty salon, and they have an exercise room.

We were impressed with Mission Commons. It certainly looked like a viable option. We were able to see two different units. The only downside is that they seem to have limited cooking facilities available. That was the only negative we detected. We had a very enjoyable lunch there. We were kind of impressed by the menu. On the day we were there, we were quite satisfied with what we had. I found nothing wrong with the community. We both felt we could certainly live there comfortably. With regards to cleanliness, there was nothing negative in that area.

Mission Common was excellent. It was clean. It was attractive. It was spacious. The person who accommodated me with the tour was very pleasant and very knowledgeable. We didn't eat there. The dining area was well-lit and attractive.

It was very nice. The lady who gave the tour was very helpful. She gave us a list of other places that she thought would better suit us since they didn't meet our needs. Her name was Carla and she was very good. I enjoyed her. The rooms were beautiful, nice, and clean. They had a nice little patio to sit out. The dining room was also beautiful.

Mission Commons was a nice place. The general atmosphere of the place was very pleasant. The staff who assisted us during the tour was very nice, very respectful, very helpful, and showed us around. We were impressed and touched. We talked to a few residents and that was also very nice. They were very pleasant to talk to and they had positive things to say about the place. The cleanliness of the place was very good. I didn't see anything dirty or unclean. They showed us the dining area. They showed us a 1-bedroom apartment and it was quite a good-sized bedroom. They had all the amenities, like the washer and dryer and the refrigerator.

There were activities going on when we visited Mission Commons and someone greeted me when I went in. The person was very friendly, very informative, gave me a great tour, and I got to ask a lot of questions. They also followed up with me. They had a beauty shop and a schedule of activities that would be interesting for a senior.

We had a good tour at Mission Commons. They showed us around and they were able to show us a model room, which was nice to see. They showed us the eating areas and it just happened to be lunchtime, so it was nice to see the residents and their energy level and them talking to each other. We sat down after we toured and we were able to ask questions. Some of the questions they weren't able to answer, so they had to take that back and get back to us later, but we had a good conversation. They had a nice outside grassy area and a patio. They said they had a spa but no one ever went in it. They said they had an exercise room, but it didn't get used very often. They mentioned they had shuttles. They had a common area with couches, a piano, and a TV, and we got to see that area.

I found Mission Commons for my brother, and he is moving in there. My father was there ten years ago, so I am very familiar with it. Everybody is upbeat. There's always nice music going on. They have all kinds of activities. Anybody that is working there, they are all pleasant, they all are very helpful. The rooms are adequate, especially for assisted living. They had just enough room for everything that was needed. It was just typical, with a big window, kitchenette, big-size bathroom, and closet that could hold most things. The dining area is beautiful, very upbeat, very open, and bright. It's very nice. Everything is always clean. It's in a beautiful area. The scenery around it, you see the mountains, very open and very bright inside. It's a nice setting for people. They have vans that will take anybody to the stores, to church, and they can always help people get to places. They have a lot of craft teams that are working with them, they go in for classes, make things, and keep pretty busy.

We have moved into Mission Commons. The apartment is very nice. When you move from a 2200-square foot home to a 950-square foot apartment, it is a downsize, but it's very comfortable. The staff members here are just absolutely great to work with. The food is very good. We have three meals a day, and I have very few complaints about the food whatsoever. We're making the transition and we've been here since May, but I can't think of anything negative about the place. They have a studio apartment, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom. Because of my wife's situation, we have not yet gotten involved with any of the activities. We have gone to the musical presentations, but they have movies, they have a fitness room, they have a group that plays cards, and they have an extensive library. They've never run out of books, that's for sure. They take people to the grocery store or the doctor's, but you have to set up an appointment, of course. I happen to drive, so I haven't looked into that. You can either park in the open or you could park under a carport. Every person we've dealt with on the staff has been very, very great to deal with. Whether it be the maintenance man, the waiters, and waitresses, the housekeepers, or the managers, they're all great.

I toured Mission Commons for my brother, and it was great. The lady that assisted me was excellent, friendly, knowledgeable, and I didn't see any problems at all. I didn't get the chance to eat, but I think it was lunch time, so it smelled good, and I love the menu they had on the wall. I saw one lady playing dominos, and another lady was just sitting watching them play the games, then there were several of them just walking around and talking to us.

We toured Mission Commons for my sister. We saw the kitchen, the dining room, and the laundry room. We were very impressed. It seems like the kind of community my sister would appreciate. She's a teacher, and I know there are a lot of teachers in there. The staff seem very friendly. It's very clean. The one who assisted me on the tour was very helpful and friendly.

My parents will be moving into Mission Commons. I've toured the place, and it was attractive, clean, and friendly. The first intake person was wonderful, very pleasant, and informative, and she took her time answering all of our questions. This is a two-bedroom unit because one of the people is blind and handicapped, so they have that available downstairs. It is very spacious and comfortable. We really love the room that they gave us. They usually have a cafeteria with meals and socializing, but right now they're bringing meals to their room. I did not get into any specifics, but I know they have social events out in the large, lovely foyer. For the men they also have ball games playing, like the Super Bowl and things like that. They have a beautician there on staff; I am not sure if that is open now, but they have that available, and that was really good for me to hear because that was one of the things I was looking for -- somebody there who could attend to that. They have transportation to appointments and to the grocery store. I liked the location because it is private, but it is still close to town. I don't know the job description of everybody I talked to, but I talked to five people, and each one has been very informative and helpful.

I'm a resident of Mission Commons. It has been very nice here. However, the meals are a little bit close together, but trying to give three meals at a reasonable day is pretty tough. They have games and outings, go places, arrange shopping trips, and will take you to church or to the doctors. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day. In the assisted living, they help with keeping up with your daily medications, laundry, showers, and will take your dog for a walk.

Mission Commons looks like a castle. It was so nice, and they even have a dog park. They have fast talking staff, and they don’t give me time to think, but they are very nice. The place is wonderful. It was clean, decent, and pretty. They have card games and a pool table; it's like going into a senior citizen recreation center because they have everything in there.

Mission Commons is very adequate in terms of what they provide with accommodations. The dining room and the food service are superior in many ways. The only problem I see is the lack of physical recreation. They have very little activities outside of the place like tours. They have activities within the place which appeal mostly to those who are wheelchair-bound or those who are not able to go out. My personal opinion is that there's too much of the assisted mixed in with the independent. I am in a very adequate 1-bedroom apartment which is very comfortable. The staff is very courteous and quite efficient.

I only looked at Mission Commons. It was very good, and I was given all of the information, but I was not ready to make the decision yet. The rooms were OK. I did not like the fact that they did not have a kitchen at all; however, they provided all of the meals. I liked that they had transportation if you decided to go someplace or to see doctors. They were all very kind and polite. It seemed to be a good atmosphere.

Mission Commons was pretty average and not fancy enough for my parents, thought the dining room was nice. The rooms were also average and clean but not very spacious, and the kitchenette was somewhat limited. The people who gave the tour were very nice.

Mission Commons has been very nice. They had patios and the food is super awesome, it’s my mom would like. The staff was nice. If you just need something, they will just press the button and someone will come. They have an emergency button. They have people that will come and try to see if the internet is working, but it’s not as much help as I thought it would be. The people there are nice. They have a menu but mom is a picky eater. She was totally there for like a month and she vent over and broke her hip and was in the hospital for two months. She does say that she will participate in activities.

My mom-in-law personally chose Mission Commons because they have units that you could rent with full kitchens including stoves, and refrigerators. She is not a candidate for assisted-living. She moved into the independent-living part where she has a full apartment. They provide her with limited services which is all she needs at this time. One of her reasons for choosing this facility is for the proximity to two of her children. The facility provides good meals. They have a transportation that takes them to church every Sunday, and shopping once a week. They have teas every afternoon, and social hours. Mom-in-law seems to be enjoying all of that.

Mission Commons met my basic requirements, which included the availability of a two-bedroom unit on the first floor. I had the added bonus of having an entrance on the side. The place is very, very nice, with very pleasant people -- especially the managers Julienne and Danny. They are very helpful and they are not just good managers -- they are caring people. There are a lot of activities, but I haven't settled in to attend any activities right now. I just like the managers, the people, and all that. I haven't been here long enough to assess the whole situation. They are very pleasant and very helpful. They respond to the residents' needs and inquiries.

We chose Mission Commons because it is a cleaner facility and it is closer to where we want my mom to be. It is very nice. The room is a good size and clean. The food is fantastic. The meals are always well balanced and nutritious. The staff is wonderful. They are very compassionate. They have quite a few activities, but my mother-in-law is not able to participate because of her health. They have a game room, an outside patio, a social room, and they have a lot of walking area. It is a very open facility with a nice view.

We found Mission Commons for my dad. The main reason we chose it was because of the atmosphere. It's an independent/assisted living facility as supposed to a fully assisted side. This allowed him to feel like he was going into a community. It had an up-atmosphere for him. The facility is very clean too. The staff is excellent and attentive. They seemed to respond pretty well, and Dad is very pleased with the way the staff tends to him. His room is on the ground floor, and it looks out on a grass area, and we feel that we were really blessed to get him in there. The meals were OK. I can't say it's gourmet, but I can say it's sufficient. He seems to be OKwith it. They have activities, like they have church on Sunday, and they have activities throughout the week, and I think every day they have something going on.

We did a tour at Mission Commons and it was a very positive experience. It was for my mom and her friend, it was in their area. We're very impressed with the facility and the program that they have. The gal who took us around did a great job. There were two couples that lived there 24 hours a day. We only saw one 2 bedroom apartment because the others were being renovated. It wasn't one of the regular ones, it was the one that is used for guests, but they liked it.

We toured Mission Commons and it was fabulous. Everybody there from the staff to the patients had a smile on their face. They all looked like they were happy to be there. The staff seemed to know their job well and everyone seemed wanting and willing to be helpful. It didn't have an institutional kind of smell and it had a really homey feeling. They had single rooms, double rooms and cared suites.

We toured Mission Commons and we talked to them quite extensively. They even went over to the rehab center where my mother-in-law was before we even moved her and interviewed her and talked to her about the program. But we're not able to handle it financially to get them there. It was a wonderful place. It would have been my choice. It was great and a very nice complex. The staff is very friendly and they have social activities, too. I would have loved to put my in-laws there. But financially, it wasn't possible.
