I know they had meals, they had a doctor, a podiatrist, they had a garden club and all kinds of activities for the veterans and the seniors, and they had transportation. "I went to Sun City Gardens. I chose Sun City because of the location, and the facility is very nice. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. We had lunch, it was very good, very well prepared, and well served. They offer a salon, a gym, and transportation."

He goes to exercise class every day where Rosa, the Activities Director, does an excellent job. Michele, the head RN,(22 years with the Village) and her staff are all top notch caregivers. The housekeepers and maintenance personnel are helpful, friendly and exemplify 5 star service. We are very pleased and highly recommend this facility. "

"WellQuest of Menifee Lakes seemed fairly new. It's very clean and very well organized. I'm just very pleased with everything they have, like the activities and the care. The rooms are very nice. I like the openness of it. It's just very pleasant, and I was really impressed with it. My partner will be moving to their memory care. I'm very happy with them. I've gone to the others, and they're OK. I just got a good impression there. I thought the apartments were very nice. They have plenty of room, and they allow you to put pictures on the walls. They're fine with that, and they said to make it your home. I was really impressed with that. We'll be able to move his furniture in and things that will remind him of home. I can visit any time, too. It was nice that they don't have a restricted visitation. I think the upkeep is wonderful. The place is just spotlessly clean and seems very well-organized. There were people playing bingo and having a good time, and I thought it was great. The dining room is very well-appointed too. I like that. There were so many amenities. They said that once in a while, they take everybody in the van and go for picnics or go somewhere. I thought that was fun and nice. They probably had a hundred activities rolling on a screen there, just different things they could do during the day. I didn't even point out all of them because I don't think that he will participate in a lot of them. They had numerous things to do. They also had a nice walking area with a little path that was gated on both ends. There was plenty of room to walk, sit, and do what they wanted. I'm very impressed with it. The staff we toured with was wonderful. He gave us all the information we wanted. We sat and talked to him. My daughter came down from Seattle. We both went in again, and she asked every question available. He answered every one to our satisfaction. His name was Mike, and we really liked him."

"This was an excellent facility. I was very impressed with it, and the programs they had for dementia patients. They had a lot of activities, the patients seemed happy, and well-cared for. The rooms seemed very nice. They had cottages, and there were 15 in a cottage. They had a central area. It was well-maintained, kept up, and the grounds were beautiful. The dining area was nice. The people were friendly, and the assistance seemed great. "

"Corona RCFE was very nice, and the people were very friendly. The grounds were good. The room is perfect for my mother who is 92. She just needs a room with a little bed, a chair, and a TV. That's all she needs. It looks like she can go out and go to the dining room area, and things like that, and they have those things available too. The staff who helped me was very friendly and answered all the questions. She was very good. I didn't sample the food, but the dining area was fine. For activities, they have a little room where people can go and they can meet with each other and play games and so on, so that's fine."

"The Village at Redlands is nice. I liked it. The one I didn't like is, it's like a dorm where you have to walk in through a hallway to get into your apartment. But other than that, it's nice. They showed us a two-bedroom, it's nice, the rooms are a good size, it has two bathrooms, and that's what we like. The only thing I didn't like was the electric stove. The staff was excellent. They have like a little park, it's nice sitting, and they have a theater in there for the people that live there."

"I like The Village at Redlands. It's a very quiet place. I could hardly see people in the hallway. They're all seniors, and they're older than me. The compound is located in a distant neighborhood. That's one thing I like about it. I noticed some areas are close to a town or stores. Sometimes I don't like it close to the neighboring areas. Generally, I like the environment at The Village at Redlands. Before I spoke with the manager, I had already checked the place out. I said, "I like this place." It's a two-story building, and it's built like a hotel. They have what they call cottages. They're duplexes, but they look like single-family homes. That's also for rent for seniors like me. They cost more, but they're real houses. They have a front yard taken care of by the management. They have a two-car garage. I like it. So, when I met with the manager, there was only one vacant, which is why I rushed in and took it. It has a security gate. It has glass doors. It has a PIN code. I like the way it looks. This does't really have a staff because it's independent living. There's one person who works in the office. The office is separated from the main building. There is also a staff that cleans and takes care of the area. They don't clean where we live. They will clean it if we request it, and we have to pay for it."
